Unfortunately, I was not able to download this title once I was approved and before it was archived. I therefore cannot provide a review at this time.
This is the 4th book in this series and let me tell you: this one is steamier, more romantic and lovable than the others.
Reading this author's books will make you ask yourself to what extent the imagination can flurish? Wonderful series!
STRANDS OF LOVE is an amazing addition to the Tapestries series with an unexpected and fun twist.
Fantastic offering, especially as we get a few moments with past characters from the other Tapestries books and see where they are now. If you haven't read any of these magical offerings you you can still read STRANDS OF LOVE and enjoy the sexy romp, but you will also want to get your hands on all the others and sit back and enjoy.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for the opportunity to read a complimentary copy of this book in return for a review based upon my honest opinion.
This was the seventh book in the tapestry series, it could easily be read as a stand-alone book. I really enjoy this series; a wonderful, joyous, sexy time travel book. A great escape from the real world; a sexy romp in a land of castles and hunky warriors. In this installment, Samantha is our lucky bachelorette; whisked back in time from her farm in Texas by a magical tapestry to discover that the tapestry has chosen her to be the mate of both handsome and sexy Jace and Darian, in a place where men have to share a bride. A lovely fantasy, well written and enjoyable with great characters. This is a genre of book that can be rather awkward to read if not written well and this author has no problem writing spellbinding books that transport the reader to a magical land of gorgeous men, beautiful scenery, great sex and over all, the possibility of love.
N.J. Walters' Tapestries series is all about the steam. Jace and Darian's relationship with Samantha is no exception. Lots of hotness! I really have enjoyed each book in the series. Great for readers who like sexy fantasy books.
Samantha Calloway is a modern day woman living on her family's long-held lands in Texas, and she has fallen on hard times. Her smarmy neighbor has offered her a way out, but she is desperate to find another way. Enter Jace and Darian Hunter, brothers from Javara where 2 men share 1 woman that they both cherish who have found there way to her via the Tapestries and take up working on her lands to help her while they woo her. And there are some very steamy moments involved with the wooing! ;) The men want Samantha to be their mate, but what if it means giving up her family legacy? Overall, a very steamy, fun, read with some twists and turns to keep things even more interesting!
As a note, I had not read any of the previous books in the series, but it did not seem to matter in terms of following this story.
Strands of Love by N. J. Walters is book 7 in the Tapestries Series. This is the story of Samantha Calloway, Jace and Darian Hunter. I did feel this could be a standalone book if you wish to do so. Samantha's family has gone and she had promised to keep the land and farm going. Jace and Darian have dreamed of finding a women that they can make a home with and have a family with. They have heard of the Tapestries that seem to do just that and it did for them. I transported them to Samantha and then they took her back home but will she stay with them or return what she knows?
Hot Read!!
The final book in this series was one that I should have waited to read until I read the others in the series. I have not read the other titles but even with that said, I still loved this title. It had everything I was looking for in a story. Passion, excitement, and romance. I couldn't out it down! I will totally have to pick up the other titles in this series so I can start from the beginning and then re-enjoy this one knowing what is going on.
This was sweet, sexy and way too short. I enjoyed the brief mention at the end of the couples from previous books. I feel like the author could easily write a couple hundred more pages and keep us readers enthralled.
Time travel with two handsome hunks....brothers, in fact. From Texas to another galaxy(?), a woman is moved to another land on a magic tapestry. She meets two brothers and has to decide if she wants to go home or stay with them. I have a question, do they wear a kilt? Crazy story of time traveling in this steamy book. (And I do mean steamy!!)
Sam is a woman who vowed to take care of her family’s farm after they all passed away. She considered it her duty, but what she really wanted was to find love and have a family. One day while walking on her farm, she finds two handsome strangers who will change her life forever.
I really liked this novel because it wasn't just focused on the sex but on the relationship between the three main characters. I also liked the medieval setting, and I wish the author could use this setting again in another story. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from NetGalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.
This book is a quick read, which I was very thankful for because I just wasn't feeling it. The premise was interesting, two brothers from a different world go through a magic tapestry to find a woman who will become their wife. However, the story fell flat for me. I didn't feel any connection between the brothers and Sam, and the sex scenes were plenty but not that hot.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for this ARC.
Samantha Calloway is facing mounting debts and a merciless drought as she struggles to save the farm that’s been in her family for generations and while an unscrupulous neighbor has offered her a way out, she’s hoping for a miracle. Jace and Darian Hunter are deeply committed to the welfare of their expansive lands and all the people who rely on them but they are also deeply saddened at the prospect of living out their lives without the blessing of a loving women. The Tapestry strikes again only this time, Darian and Jace will have to convince Sam that to choose them and their unquestioning devotion to her heart and a lifetime of unending love over returning all alone.
This story is an excellent send off to this sensually fascinating and uniquely magical series. ‘Strands of Love’ is filed with an abundance of emotional turbulence and lots of stirring and scorching hot passion. The characters are strong, captivating and easily draw readers into their story and the more the readers get to know these characters, the more obvious that Sam belongs with Jace and Darian, but their situations also speak to the readers which makes them sympathize with what the characters are going through.
The plot of this story is fast paced with lots of suspense and since the Tapestry has upped its game and changed the rules a bit, there’s even more thrilling suspense and excitement as readers wonder right along with the characters about what it will do next and what that means for the three of them. This dual outlook from both places and from all three characters captivate readers and has them holding on to the book with a white-knuckled grip as they yell at the characters to hurry up and make the right choice before the Tapestry does it for them.
Samantha had lost her parents and now the family farm was hers to take care of, only problem was she didn't have enough money to make it work. She had been talked into selling some of the land after her mother's death but for far cheaper than she should have gotten. Now she wasn't sure what she was gonna do to make ends meet before the bank took the farm.
Jace and Darian love their land and the people on it but they long for a loving woman to live out their lives together. One day when the magical tapestry appears to them, they are transported to a far away land and to Samantha. She has only a little time to be around the guys before the tapestry appears and whisks them back to Javara where the guys are from. Samantha can hardly believe what has happened and doesn't believe them when they tell her where she is and that the tapestry will be back in 3 days to take her home for good if she so chooses but they hope she will stay with them. It takes a while before she starts to believe anything she's heard but she still wants to go back home.
On Javara 2 or 3 men share one woman when she appears from the tapestry because there's a shortage of women born there. Both Darian and Jace are attracted to Sam and she is also attracted to them. She figures she only has a small amount of time with them so she gives into her attraction and sleeps with both of them. Watching them fall more and more in love and not knowing what to do was heartbreaking but their romance was powerful.
There are a few twists and turns before the end of this book but it was so good! I have to mention that I didn't read any of the other books in this series but I really love this author's books so when I saw this one I knew I wanted to read it, even out of order and I'm so glad I did. The last few pages definitely made this girl cry, some happy and some bittersweet tears. Now N.J., why'd you go and do that to me? lol
I definitely have to go back and read this series from the beginning now because if this book was anything to go by, I'm gonna love it.
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley but all opinions are my own.
The choice between love and family is never easy. Especially when all that is left of the family is the farm. But will Sam make the decision to choose her heart over the past? Darian and Jace experience the world of Texas in a way that no other pair of brothers ever has. The dryness of the wind, the fields of crops as far as the eye can see and the wonders of modern plumbing all strike amazement in their mind. But duty and honour means putting family before themselves. Will leaving home to stay with Sam be the ultimate betrayal of their beliefs? The final story in the Tapestries series is not to be missed.
The first eBook I read was the first book in this series and I loved that I got to read the last! The first book drew me in with the story of this magical tapestry that transports woman to this other world. These are strong women who end up in this land with pairs of men who are desperately in need of them. And yes, the love making is HOT, but along the way in 3 days there is love, vulnerability, and relationships built. The story of Christina and her men drew me in and the story of Sam and her men didn't disappoint.
Sam is a hard as nail Texan who is alone in the world, trying to hold onto her family's home. Jace and Darian are two men who have been working hard to hold onto their family's heritage. One dark stormy night the tapestry transports Jace and Darian to Texas where they meet Sam. Sam, upon seeing two men on her land, finds it hard to believe the story of the tapestry - even when it transports the 3 of them back to Jace and Darian's land. It is then up to the brothers to not only show Sam that they need her, but that they are desperate to make her a permanent part of their future.
I really did love this series and was not disappointed at the ending. I can't wait to see what else the author dreams up!
While reading any of the Tapestries stories can be done as a standalone, to really appreciate this wonderful series you will definitely benefit by starting at the beginning. Strands of Love is an exciting addition to the series, and keeps the thrills flowing throughout. Samantha Calloway is a hard-working, independent woman, simply trying to make ends meet, but when two devastatingly handsome strangers appear out of nowhere, her life choices are suddenly tested. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and all that came before it. So, sit back and be enchanted, as everyone can use some magic in their life.
Sam meets Jace and Darian through the magic of the tapestry and ultimately she has to decide on whether to go with them or remain at her home. The love the two men have for her is intense and their interaction is full of love. Sam is torn between her love of her home and the new found love between her and her two men. I have read the other books in this series and they are each great stories, well written with their own unique storyline. This is a great book and I would highly recommend it as a great read.
As far as fantasy erotica, some stories begin to sound the same, but "Strands of Love," the 7th book in the "Tapestries" series, has its own flare and rules within the world. This is a re-release of the series and the even though you don't have to have read the previous books in the series, reading the final book in the "Tapestries" series will make you want to read the ones that came before the last. Portal fantasies always know how to keep a reader's attention.
The theme in "Strands of Love" is family legacy. And, in this case, it's land that's been within families for generations. Samantha Calloway is a Texan who is struggling to maintain her family's legacy. She's the last of her family and she has tried everything in order to keep the last of the ranch in her possession. Meanwhile, in another world, Jace and Darian Hunter have worked hard for the last several years in order to see that their family land is back to what it used to be before their father and uncles almost lost it all. The brothers have given up on getting married and settling down when "the tapestry" appears to them and transports them to Texas. Once there, Jace and Darian meet Samantha and they have a brief, but intense (and steamy) courtship. The question is, where will they end up?
The story, while tragic at times, is very romantic, but predictable at times. However, in this case, the elements fit together given what the characters have been through. At the same time, the reactions to the magic and to living in different worlds is more than believable. And, N.J. Walters knows how to incorporate good sex scenes without it sounding too forced, or too cheesy.
In all, the story was great for what it was, a fantasy erotica story about finding love for the right reasons. I'm curious about the rest of the series, mostly because it seems that each of the "units" have something in common that brought them all together, and I'm curious what they are. I'm excited to see what else N.J. Walters writes in the future because the fantasy aspects were just as entertaining as the erotica!
Another great book in this wonderful series and once again we are in Jarava and the slitly different thing is that this time the heroes travel to modern times even of they don't stay there
This is the story of Sam a Texan rancher who is about to lose her ranch to drought and an unscrupulous neighbour Then she is confronted by two hot men in the shape of Jace and Darian Hunter two brothers who have travelled from Jarava They have heard of the legends of the tapestry but never thought they would get there true love through it. They are also committed to protecting their lands When Sam travels to Jarava with them she will face questions that only she will be able to solve. Will she pick the brothers and their passionate love or return to her times. While this is the last book in the series it was wonderful to see all of the couples that we have met throughout the entire series
