Just meh. Nothing surprised me or blew me out of the water. Something I can pick up but easily put down. Works well for vacation when I don't want to invest.

This is a second chance romance between two headstrong stubborn leaders who burn up the pages with their explosive chemistry. Lilith and Reaper have a past and they've both long since given up any hope of a future together. But when their daughter's life is threatened, they find themselves working together and this time around, the fire might burn them both all over again.

This is the last book in the series and should definitely be read in order. I didn't and I did feel a bit lost when the other characters are introduced but the author does a great job of lightly introducing everyone again without giving in to a huge information dump. Now I'm just more curious to read about Math, Havoc and the rest of the gang.

The story picks up immediately after the events from the previous book and the pace doesn't slow down as Reaper and Lilith chase down leads and navigate a tricky maze of enemies and allies.

This is a refreshingly new and action packed setting, I loved the unique twist to the future the author created. The author has definitely peaked my interest into this series. If you're looking for a new exciting author, like romance and enjoy dystopian reads, this series is worth a look-see :)

What a tangled web of assassins, spies, Vultures and imposter in this book. The attention to detail is impressive and makes for a very good read. I did have to make a list to keep track of all the characters. Great ending!

Fear the Reaper is the fourth book in Fate's Vultures series. This is the first book I read from this author. I think I missed out in not reading the previous three because as I began to read this one I felt that I had begun in the middle. It is truly my fault though. The author did a good job of giving us a background of what has happened to Reaper and Lilith previously, plus the other characters from the previous books that still come out in this one.
Overall I liked the story. It was very fast paced and had a lot of action. There was a love-hate relationship between Reaper and Lilith, which had been going on for quite some time. Truths were revealed that brought them closer and made them fight for a common goal.

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC given through NetGalley for review.

Not really a stand alone novel. This book is part of a series so if you haven't read any of the books readers will find themselves lost many times throughout the book. While the story takes place in a post apocalyptic world everyone is out for themselves.

The story is a second chance romance with cast of characters readers might get lost in knowing.

Fear the Reaper starts off slow and keeps a slow pace though most of the book. The story doesn't seem to have a focus unless it is directed to the two lead characters romance.

Being only 200 pages the book read like it was 400 pages.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy of Jami Gray Fear The Reaper.

I absolutely loved "Caught in the Aftermath" so when I saw the fourth installment of the series, I jumped right abroad to read "The Reaper". It was an overall enjoyable read and the dynamic between Lilith and Reaper was fueled by raw intensity and emotion from a broken relationship that the leads once had in the past. I expected this to really blow me after catching a glimpse of the characters in the previous sequel but it didn't live up to my expectations. There just wasn't that 'wow' factor to win me over despite it still be a good read. To say the least Reaper and Lilith smothering relationship won me over but everything else, eh not so much. Overall this novel was a decent read but I won't be picking this back up anytime soon.

This is Lilith and Reapers story. My first time reading this author. Loved the action and drama in the story. It’s an edge of the seat romance that will keep you reading late into the night. Reaper is the leader of the vultures. They have a bounty on their heads. Lilith is the leader of the Rocky Mountain sector. She has a daughter. Read to find out how Reaper finds out he has a daughter to and how a love thought lost can flame to life again.

I read this book as an arc from NetGalley. I gets 5 stars
