Who wouldn't love this book!? The characters make you feel you are part of their lives, you experience their highs and lows just as you would in your own lives with the hope that the ending would turn out well for them, after all a fairy tale always does doesn't it? Set in wonderful South America and France this is a fabulous book, humorous, poignant and a true reflection of modern life. A great read - highly recommended.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. Raquel's first adventure has earn her another wonderful trip. This time to France and she is willing to discover this places travel secrets. It is hard not to be pulled into the story and the journey that she is on. The description and the detail makes you believe that you are along for the ride and not just reading it off the place. That is quite the experience. This is the second book in this trilogy. It made my heart beat for it was not all love in the City of Love and Lights. She has several guys interested in her and that includes her boss who has a girlfriend who is trying to ruin things at every turn. Makes me wonder what is going to happen in the final book New York. I can hardly wait.

Description
Her adventure in Brazil has transformed the shy and curvy Rachel into the confident and sexy Raquel. It has also earned the travel writer a luxurious trip to France, another sensual destination with its own "travel secrets. In one of France's most famous wine regions, Raquel is courted by the suave and enchanting Maxime and the rugged female winemaker Alixandrie. Raquel's boss, Ryan, also seems interested in her, but his girlfriend and supermodel Chantal continues to sabotage Raquel at every turn. Raquel’s biggest challenge, however, is to stay true to her new self. What kind of transformation awaits her as a traveler this time? Read Travel Secrets Book Two: Paris and Bordeaux to find out!

My Review:
The second book in the series, Travel Secrets: Book Two - Paris and Bordeaux has Raquel traveling to Paris and Bordeaux to write about her experience which of course bring drama as Chantal's continued sabotage is evident.

This book was provided free of charge in exchange for my honest opinion. I truly enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend.

The second installment in the Travel Secrets was as good as the first one. Rachel's journey to self-discovery isn't as smooth as the Rio one but what's a journey without a few setbacks! We see her emerge a stronger, more self-assured person. I loved the interactions between her and her travel companions, especially Debbie, and their acceptance of her for who she really is. The romance felt a little forced and a bit predictable but it was nice to see her get her happy ending.

This is the second book in the Travel Secrets and picks up right after Rachael's assignment in Rio. She's returned a confident woman and has learned to stand up for herself. Her boss, Ryan asks her to do a story on Paris and Bordeaux.
Thank you to the author, NetGalley, and the publisher for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I was saddened to see that she began to hate herself and the body image she represented on this trip versus the strong and confident woman she was in Rio. It got better upon the return to Paris but I wanted more.

Book 2 of Travel secrets was an improvement over Book 1. Raquel, when talking about her imagined new magazine says "It has to reflect my point of view of life and it has to be done in an interesting, non-preachy way.” I had to chuckle at this as it was the feeling of being schooled that was my issue with book 1. Lemond did a better job of informing the reader in a less preachy way this time.
The relationships between the characters was interesting enough to make me wonder where book 3 will take them.
Thanks to #Netgalley for allowing me to read an arc of #TravelSecretsBook2 in return for an honest review.
