Thank you to NetGalley for a Kindle ARC of Dessert Cooking for Two.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!
I've been searching for a dessert cookbook with recipes that serve two.
I love love love sweets but sometimes, I don't want to make a big batch of cookies, cake or pie because temptation is so....tempting, and portion control is necessary for someone with a sweet tooth as ginormous as mine.
But, I still want to satisfy my sweet tooth without turning the kitchen into a hot mess.
I love to eat but I'm a mediocre cook (and not a much better baker).
Dessert Cooking for Two to the rescue!
The recipes are easy to follow and don't require a lot of time, fancy ingredients or gadgets.
Recipes are broken down into the most popular dessert categories and there's sure to be, at least, one recipe that catches your eye here, even if you don't have a sweet tooth. And if you don't, are you sure you're human? Haha!
I highly recommend Dessert Cooking for Two to anyone, whether you're single or not or have a large family.
Cookies that begins with 1/2 cup all purpose flour..

I never knew that palmiers use sour cream.. maybe not the real ones.. but these are easy palmiers. Ina G made them with puff pastry.
Flipping the coconut can so that you get to the liquid that settles at the bottom.
If you like to try out different recipes but dont want it to get out of hand with too many ingredients or too much flour, butter, sugar - this book is for you.
I love this cookbook. I'm a single girl so even though it's supposed to be recipes for two people it's okay because I'll eat it all. It's the perfect portions. I'm so excited to try out the cookie recipes and there is a chocolate covered strawberry cheesecake bite that looks heavenly. The book starts by giving you tips and explaining everything. I definitely think every single person or couples should definitely get this book. I might buy it in print when it comes out.
