Loved it! Hot, so, so hot and sexy !!!! But with great characters and a nice storyline to support them.

I had trouble getting into this book. The plot and characters were good, it just isn't my cup of tea. I am not one for books that are complete fantasy where both characters are aliens, or merging bodies. That gave me the willies, but the actual story was interesting enough that I don't want to give it a low rating for a personal preference.

If you like aliens and a unique new concept, this would be for you.

"Body Melting Good"
Jexx is a story with a unique oral building aspect. I liked that I didn't know what the Govun e aspect was. I liked being surprised along with the characters. The author did a great job of creating a relationship for the characters and developing their bond. It didn't feel forced and the unique Govun Mate bond was fun and interesting.
Jehlia while a Planetarian Alliance Warrior was not adverse to learning new ways and Jaxx was an Alpha while able to recognize her strengths.
I thought the plot was solid and the world building engaging. I hope Ms Mooney writes more from this world I would be interested in seeing and learning more.

I have to say I was confused about the title for the first 20% if the book until I caught onto the bodymelting aspect , then I realized where Ms Mooney came up with it.

This is a little different read for me, but I enjoyed it! This is a story about a captain in the intergalactic military who meets a warrior named Kaxx. Her name is Jelia. It tells how the become one and Jexx is created. There is a lot of suspense, sex and read to find out how the good guys come out!
