I love this author!

I tried reading this book again after I first tired and could not get into it. Boy am I glad I did!

This was a great psychological thriller that kept me in the edge of my seat. If you like twist and turns this is the book for you! I am truly glad I gave it another try and dug in.

I was pretty taken in by this book from the get go! This woman who sounded so beautiful and the harsh reality was just... mesmerizing to me!

I would read a few chapters here and there (because 1 chapter was never enough to read alone!) As soon as it hit 40% it took me 3 hours to finish the rest of the book I was hooked!

The different emotions I felt reading this book was something I've not felt before, I was practically on the edge on my seat! And the ending OMG the conclusion for this story was brought together so well.

I DEFINITELY recommend this book I'd you haven't read it yet!

A really fast paced thriller - this was my 2nd book by the author, and once again I loved her writing!

Dom & Stacey are very happy, their life is going perfectly well until Dom meet Tamara and ends up hiring her for an open position which recently opened up as a colleague had killed himself!
Tamara seems knowledgeable and a perfect fit for the role, slowly she takes over more responsibilities and even wins a big account for Dom & Stacey's company SAID.
But there's something about Tamara's obsession with removing Stacey from Dom's life and she is ready to go to any extent. She has meticulously planned all her next steps.

This book was gripping till the end!

This book for certain was a page turner. It was a quick read, hard to put it down. But for me it wasn't all that good. Interesting but it was missing something.

Couldn't put this book down! So much tension as it moves to the climax. Well paced and fascinating characters. Can't wait to read more from the author!

After reading that first chapter I was hooked. This was an utterly gripping, dark and suspenseful psychological thriller. The writing was brilliant and the story was clever and full of plenty of twists and turns. Told through the two points of view of Stacey and Tamara, Tamara was one of the most conniving, evil, two-faced women I have ever read about and I loved every minute of it! I Can't wait to see what Miranda Rijks does next.

This is one intense, twisted, dark and addictive novel! Not only is this a very well-written book with wonderfully-interesting characters, but the suspense builds at just the right pace as the story unfolds. Compulsive, gripping and horrifying! Will keep you on the edge of your seat!

Tamara will go to outrageous lengths to ruin Stacey’s life and I was unable to put it down. A good, fast read! Highly recommend!

overall a decent read but predictable at times. Still, I found my self enjoying this book more than I thought I would.

Dominick and Stacey seem to have it all .... they love each other, they have 2 great kids, Dom's business is going great, and Stacey is a work at home mom, writing and illustrating children's books.

And then things start to happen. An associate in Dom's business has committed suicide ... an overdose followed by cutting his wrists. They found him in his bathtub.

This book will have you guessing to the very end. It is so good and literally kept me up all night.

Wow this one was disturbing!!! I have never read a book by Miranda Rijks before, but would definitely pick up another one based on this novel. Twists and turns I didn't see coming. It was a very emotional journey with this one!

This book was excellent. Loved the writing style and really liked the character involved. I couldn’t put this book down and the intensity of it stayed on my mind for a while after I completed it. Going to seek out more books by this author. Very well done.

Stacey and Dom living their perfect life in lovely West Sussex, well perfect that is until Tamara turns up! This one grabs you from the start and before you know it, it’s the end of the book. Told in turn by both women. I loved this, very easy to get into, making the reader eager to learn what’s next for this hapless family. Tamara - what a woman, thought she was great! This is my second book by this author and I’m definitely looking forward to the next.

This book was full of intrigue, suspense and twists! It is a page-turner that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend it!

I loved this book.. I didn’t want it to end. It’s full of surprises all the way through that will keep you hooked. The characters were intriguing, the setting was great and the story was amazing. A real page turner that you won’t be able to put down. I will be keeping my eye out for more by this author in the future.

One of Dominic's employee's, Dylan, is unexpectedly found dead in his bathtub with his wrists slit. Tamara comes in as Dylan's replacement complete with her own agenda that includes making trouble for Dominic's family. We know who is the evil one from the beginning but not the reason behind it. The suspense and tension builds throughout the story in a series of ups and downs, with lots of twists along the way, keeping the reader fully engaged and rooting for Tamara and her family. If you are a fan of the psychological thriller, this is a must read!
