What a crazy storyline that I couldn’t get enough of! Bridge and Julian are twins who have always supported each other but when divorce breaks their family apart, they are separated as well. As time goes on, the pair drift apart and have no relationship, with Bridge taking care of their sick mother and Julian following in their father’s footsteps. Everything changes when Julian is in a car accident and ends up in a coma, and their father’s company takes a hit. In a ploy to recoup the loss, their father gives Bridge the offer of a lifetime – to pay for all their mother’s medical bills and more. Taking Julian’s place, Bridge is to tell nobody of his true identity, including Julian’s fiancé Isobel. While Isobel is unhappy in her relationship with Julian and breaking off the engagement, that all changes when the accident occurs and he comes back a changed man. While Isobel thinks something is different and can’t determine why he has changed, she goes along with everything, even falling back in love. But when Isobel finds out that she’s been falling back in love with the other twin, and Julian’s prognosis changes, it creates a world of chaos in and out of the public eye. This was such a great storyline and I couldn’t get enough of trying to figure out what Julian’s master plan was as well as getting back at their father. This was an epic book and I can’t wait to get Julian’s story next!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I went into this book thinking I wasn’t going to like it. I’m a twin mom and after reading the description and the epilogue I was more angry then intrigued. I absolutely love Rachel Van Dyken books so I continue, I was blown away. I think this in my top five of Rachel’s books. It was full of angst but also greatness. You easily fall in love with the story and the characters. I had a hard time putting it down. I read this book and then listened to the audio I like it that much. A definitely a must read and I can’t wait to read the other books in this series.

I was immediately drawn to this book by the gorgeous cover. Plus, once I read the blurb, I knew I had to read Stealing Her.

I’ve loved so many Rachel Van Dyken books. She can write so many different genres so perfectly. The whole twin switch is one that’s been done before, but never like this. It’s a great book that will suck you in from the very beginning.

Bridge and Izzy were great. My heart even went out to Julian. In my heart, I believe that he’s not the villain he’s portrayed.

Wonderful new characters that I want to read mire of!

This book is deeply emotional and is not a normal lighthearted read by RVD, it is heavy and deep and there are some major issues that the characters are going through here. While I highly enjoyed it, there overall theme did make me a little bit uncomfortable with how everything played out.

After a major accident to his estranged twin brother Julian, Bridge steps up to save the family company, even though no one knows who he is. This means acting like Julian not just in public, but also with his fiance. But what happens when lines are crossed? What happens when Bridge falls for Isobel and she falls for Bridge thinking that it is her sweet fiance coming back to her? What happens when Julian wakes up?

This book is a bit psychologically twisted. It was extremely entertaining, but not a normal romance. There are way too many factors at play in this and I was not sure how everything was going to end up until the very end. You cannot help but connect with the characters, but it still had a bit of wrongness to it since Isobel did not know that her fiance was actually his twin brother. Other than that, this book was engaging and kept you on the seat of your chair.

All in all, if you are down for a book that is deep but a bit twisted, I recommend you checking out Covet, I definitely want to see what is in store for the rest of the series! I give this a 4 outta 5 stars!

PS: Thank you to RVD and Social Butterfly PR for allowing me an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Wow. This is an intense story. You just can not put it down. It is emotional. It tears at your heart. I love the writing and I love the characters, even dear old dad, though I dislike him. Izzy or Isobel is probably my favorite character. I really love the uniqueness of the underlying story. Bridge is easy to fall in love with and I like that too. This book just sort of blows you away.

Bridge and Julian are twin brothers who was raised together until a nasty divorce. Bridge lived with his mother and Julian with his father. Julian has been trained to take over the father’s company one day until the unexpected happens, what will they do now? How will it effect the future? Julian has a beautiful fiancé but he’s not the man she fell in love with, will it ever change?

Plenty of family drama and secrets mixed up in this romance story. I felt Isobel was a bit naive at times and to not spot the differences between the two men. The writing as always with Rachel Van Dyken is excellent and flows smoothly, not my fave of her stories but i have really enjoyed the book and it was nice to have an easier read than other books i have read recently. FYI the dad in the story is horrible, totally a vile human!!! A romance where the secrets could spoil everything so keeps you on your toes and worrying what could go wrong

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. I absolutely love all of Rachel's books. That's why I grabbed this one without even reading the blurb. Having no idea what this book was about was the best way to go into this book because bit blew me away.
Isobel is tired of her fiancee Julian's late nights at the office and coming home smelling of perfume. Just when she has finally had enough and is going to break off their engagement he gets into a horrible accident and almost dies. When he comes stumbling back into the apartment making all kinds of promises and acting like the old Julian she thinks he has finally changed. Then she starts noticing all the physical changes. How did he change so much from just one accident?
I loved this book. It was amazing and can't wait for the next book in this series. I'm very patiently waiting. 5+⭐

This is a rollercoaster of emotions, switched identities, love, and twins! What more could you ask for in a book. Rachel definitely keeps you on your toes and pulls all the heart strings, makes you feel all the things. Amazing as usual for her books.

This has truly been, in my opinion, one of the best books Rachel has written!! She wrote amazing characters that broke your heart and then put it back together. The secretaries and angst is so powerful! The book didn’t go the way I thought it would, so that always means it is great writing. Not predictable and the last 3 sentences will leave you dying for book 2. Not a cliff hanger persay, but definitely a what just happened moment.

I think something that is so unique about this book and that makes it better is the fact that Rachel brought to light about a disease that is rare but her PA has. If you don’t know Jill Sava yet, you are missing out! She is a great person and I knew about her disease, but this book brought it so much more to light!

Great job RVD! This is 6 spectacular stars!

'm a HUGE fan of RVD's books. Her stories are always engaging and romantic. Stealing Her was a bit different that her usual Rom-Coms. It was definitely engaging, as I was hooked from the first page, but the romance was out of the ordinary. I loved Bridge and Izzy and was on the edge of my seat waiting for the proverbial other show to drop. Just like the characters, I went through every emotion....wanting Bridge and Izzy to get their HEA but feeling guilty about what they were doing to get that HEA. This story is as heartbreaking as it is romantic and there's more steam than in most of RVD's books. The epilogue was perfect and I can't wait to see what's next for the Tennysons!

Rachel Van Dyken in her latest book has shown that love can come at the least appropriate moment. She proved that the heart is not a servant, don't understand what loyalty or timing is. The Rachel's light pen, great characters and an unusual story — Stealing Her is a book with which I spent a really pleasant evening.

Rachel Van Dyken w swojej najnowszej książce pokazała, że miłość może przyjść w najmniej odpowiednim momencie. Udowodniła, że serce nie sługa, nie rozumie, czym jest lojalność czy wyczucie czasu. Lekkie pióro autorki, świetni bohaterowie i niecodzienna historia — Stealing Her to książka, z którą spędziłam naprawdę przyjemny wieczór.

Unfortunately, Stealing Her was my least favorite out of all of Rachel Van Dyken’s books I’ve read so far though overall, it was still an okay read.

In general, I just think the plot of this novel was a little far-fetched. It was a bit weird how the relationship of Isobel and Julian was pretty much over at the start of the book but once his twin brother Bridge had to step in for him after his accident and began treating Isobel a bit different from how he did, she’s suddenly ready to just take him back without a second thought.

Furthermore, it was quite unrealistic that Isobel didn’t figure out that the person she thought was Julian wasn’t actually him. Yes, the fact that he acted a bit differently towards her could’ve been explained by him coming to his senses following the accident. But the fact that Bridge was ripped while his twin brother was not and that he had tattoos Julian never had and that Isobel just assumed she hadn’t noticed him change in that way even though they’re married just felt wrong and weird. Especially because at the start of the book, she had been determined to not let people fool her or treat her like a doormat anymore. In my opinion, the ending then also wrapped up a little too easily and was a little too open. There was not really a scene in which what happened in the book was discussed properly and I also didn’t like how there was no proper conversation between the twins, especially considering that they hadn’t seen each other in more than a decade.

Nevertheless, I didn’t think this was a bad book. I actually started rooting for Bridge and Isobel as a couple at some point, even though him posing as his twin brother still left a bad taste in my mouth, and I’m also still a big fan of Rachel Van Dyken’s writing style. I might even check out the sequel to this book once it comes next year because I’m interested in seeing a different side of Julian.

First off this is a great read. I highly recommend it. In this book I got to read about these brothers and how they grew up. It was sad what happen to their family. Bridge works his butt off for his mom and himself. Julian tries everything in his power to make his dad proud. Isobel is stuck in the middle and there is no way out for her. Isobel tries everything in her power to keep their relationship alive and Julian is doing the opposite. Bridge and Julian's father is downright nasty and selfish. I don't want to give anything away. Julian is trying to survive his future. Their mother is trying to survive. Bridge is stuck in the middle and trying to protect them both. Isobel is sweet and trying to figure out what is happening.

I loved this story. It was a bit of a different style than other books by Rachel, but it was equally as good.

Pretending to be your twin can be fun when you are playing tricks on others. Being forced to pretend to be your twin when you haven't seen or spoken to them in a decade is a whole other story. Add in a love story and that is the basis of this book. It has a great plot twist that you expect to happen but never know when it will, so it keeps you on your toes.

Looking forward to the second book in this duet.

Stealing Her is twisted love triangle, with lots of raw, intense moments, that will leave you breathless!
This story truly pulled at my heart as identical twin brothers
Julian and Bridge are separated at a vulnerable age., by divorce. Bridge being the protector was devastated when he realized he would live with his mother, while Julian would live with their father.
I have to say this broke my heart! I have younger brothers that are identical twins and I know first hand how close their relationship is, even now as adults, To see Bridge and Julian’s lives ripped apart by their own father was heartbreaking. Rachel Van Dyken wrote this with so much emotion, I could feel it as I read, the pain, betrayal, the love and the what if’s! It’s all right here in this fabulous book!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves an intriguing, fast paced love story! Rachel Van Dyken is masterful in this new book about twin brothers, good versus evil and so much passion!!

STEALING HER is the first instalment in Rachel Van Dyken’s contemporary, adult COVET romance series. This is personal trainer Bridge Anderson Tennyson, and Isobel Cunningham’s story line.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Bridge and Isobel) STEALING HER follows the building relationship, predicated upon a lie, between personal trainer Bridge Anderson Tennyson, and Isobel Cunningham. At the age of fifteen, twins Bridge and Julian Tennyson were separated as a result of their parent’s divorce. Bridge had always promised Julian he would protect his brother but years of separation meant the two had become strangers until the fateful day when Bridge would be pulled back into his brother’s world. Having lived with his ailing mother, Bridge watched from the sidelines as his brother Julian excelled in the business of high finance, a business that was destroying Julian and the woman with whom he was about to marry. Enter Isobel Cunningham, and the woman with whom Bridge would fall in love. What ensues is the growing relationship and love between Bridge and Isobel, and the potential fall-out when the truth is revealed.

Bridge Tennyson had no idea what was about to happen in his well-ordered world. Having been abandoned by his father when his parents separated, Bridge is now commanded to pretend to be his brother Julian, in an effort to save Tennyson Financial, and the father he never knew. But things don’t go according to plan when Bridge falls in love with his brother’s fiancé, a woman who has suffered heart break and pain in the wake of Julian’s cheating and scandals. Isobel Cunningham struggled with the ‘new’ Julian Tennyson following a miraculous recovery from a near fatal motor vehicle accident but it wasn’t only the physical recovery but the change in personality that triggered something deep within our story line heroine. Little by little Isobel began to suspect that all was not right with the man she once loved, a man who was already stealing her heart.

The relationship between Isobel and Bridge is based upon a lie. Bridge must pretend to be his brother in order to help his brother, and his mother and her astronomical medical bills, but Bridge never expected to fall in love. Guilt will not be enough to push Isobel out of his life, but Bridge will make reparations including serving up his father, on the proverbial platter, in an effort to take down the once powerful Edward Tennyson. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to Bridge’s twin brother Julian Tennyson, their father Edward Tennyson, and their mother, as well as Julian’s PA Kelsey.

STEALING HER is a story of family dysfunction, power and control; a story of heart break and loss; of secrets, lies, love and happily ever after. The premise is entertaining and energetic; the romance is captivating and emotional: the characters are colorful and dynamic but I struggled with the missing backstory following the parents’ separation and divorce- I wish we saw some of the struggle and fallout of separating the once loving and close brothers.

I loved everything about this book!! If I could give it 10 stars I would!! HIGHLY recommended!!
You will laugh, cry, get angry and then want to punch dear old dad.
Rachel has woven a beautiful, unique story of love, hurt, betrayal and forgiveness.
Izzy and Bridge’s love story is messy and so imperfect and so wonderful!!

Brilliance is the only answer I can come up with. Rachel done did it again lol. This story was everything Ive been looking for. First off I want to start out by saying her writing is AMAZING. She knows exactly how to bring the characters to life. It was like I was watching a movie. Heartbreak and betrayle make for the best dramatic read. I went back and forth between whose side I was on. Thats when you know it was written great when you start feeling bad for the big a**hole. Anyway... This story is about Bridge. A man manipulated into pretending to be his twin brother Julian who is comatose in the hospital from an accident. Not only does Bridge have to be Julian in the office but also he must pose as him to Julians fiancé Isobel. Just throw another wrench in this guys life. The more time he spends with Izzy the more he realizes this fake love is becoming real and it's coming like a freight train. This fake life can't last forever and secrets are starting to become known. One thing is certain. Isobel is now his
