Here's to another spectacular read by Rachel Van Dyken!
From the very first word, the author will have you entranced and have you turning page after page til' the wee hours in the morning until you come to the last and final word.
Stealing Her is a remarkable read. The story building was a little emotional for me and how Bridge and Izzy was able to come to terms of their past and present. The angst in the story will have you catch your breath and hoping the outcome will end with a happy ending! And trust me you'll want to finish this book to find out! The emotions these characters have are so tangible, it's like you'll there with them, feeling what they are feeling. It's why love Rachel Van Dyken's stories. She grabs your attention from the very beginning and won't let you go until you finish the story and have you craving for me. I for one, can't wait for Finiding Him, the second book in the Covet series.
Cheer's to RVD for another amazing read.

Ohh my effing what the hell.
What just happened?. So much crazy I don't even know where to begin.
Gosh Bridge and Isobel had me all kinds of crazy emotional reading their story.
Bridge never stood a chance because the life he was supposed to have got taken away and with that so did his twin brother Julian.
Isobel wasn't living life just merely existing. She was done living in a fancy prison built on secrets and lies festering hatred and guilt trips.
Their story brought out some real raw shit. The power of manipulation. The heartache caused by splitting children in a divorce. The dangers of trusting those you shouldn't. This book is a tangled web of secrets and lies. It's the kind of book that will have you shouting obscenities at it. I loved both the hero and heroine hard. Their journey isn't easy by any means but it sure will make you feel.
Julian for me is a shithead I quite frankly don't fucking like. I feel like he doesn't have a right to feel the shit he feels because neither of them had an easy life and yet bridge didn't go treating the love of his life like a doormat. I also think he could have helped in some way but choose not to becaus he wanted that CEO position more than anything. Sooo... I know his book is next and I'm intrigued about how Rachel will turn this around and make me love the shithead.
This story is suspenful, hanging you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next wtf moment. The characters have depth and substance making them easy to connect to and very relatable.
As per usual she killed it and I can't wait for what's next.

Stealing Her is book one in this interconnected series from the author. I’ve read some of the author’s book and if I wasn’t a fan before, this newest book definitely had me in its clutches with perfectly written story. This is a contemporary, forbidden romance told in dual POV.
The story is about Bridge, who had to assume the role of his twin brother who is fighting for his own life at the hospital. Bridge and Julian was separated when their parents divorced. Bridge went to live with his mother, while Julian went with their father. When they were young, Bridge used to protect Julian from all the school bullies. They were best of friends. Years later, he was offered by his father to do the switch. He couldn’t put down the offer especially that he needs it to take care of his ailing mother. However, he didn’t expect that he would fall in love with his brother’s fiancée, Isobel.
I loved the forbidden theme in this story, and I couldn’t help but root for these two to have their happily ever after although I know that it was a bit wrong. I was already hooked by the blurb itself and reading this story had me all swoony, conflicted, and just about highly strung up because of the intense moments. Overall, highly recommend and a must-read!

I love reading Rachel Van Dyken books. I was surprised by this book, it felt very different then the other books i have read by her. I enjoy a book that makes you put yourself in the place of the characters and question what you would do in that position. The twin aspect was very intriguing but the part i loved best was how Rachel can make a character that seem like a horrible human and still be able to make you feel for them In the end. Somehow this book twisted everything around so everyone got what they deserved and left you with a feeling there was definitely lessons learned and more to come for Julian.

Good, well written story. Definitely an interesting love triangle. I liked all the characters and couldn’t put this book down, BUT I had a hard time believing the connection and the relationship between Bridge and Isobel. Izzy was just too accepting of the whole situation and it just didn’t click for me. I’m still looking forward to the next book though. I can’t wait to see how Rachel will redeem despicable Julian!

I knew that I was going to love this. Angst, romance and family drama are the main elements that made me love this new series by Rachel van Dyken. And Bridge, I love that guy! Not to mention that the romance was hot and very well-written!
I have some suspicions for book two but I'll let you for now enjoy this exciting new book!

So so good! Isobel is engaged to Julian who works for his father. But can never be good enough for. But he will spend all his time trying to do just that. To the point that it might cost his fiancé.
Bridge his Julians identical twin. Their mom left their father and in doing so lost everything but Bridge went with her to be with her and protect Her.
Then one accident changes everything. Julian gets in an accident and their father comes to bridge for his help. But not without a cost. Not without rules. Bridge would do anything for his brother and mother. But will it be too much? Will it destroy his brother? And will isobel find out the truth? Book given to me on netgalley

After reading the blurb, I couldn't wait to read about identical twins and changing identities! My heart broke for these young brothers who were so close, only to be torn apart and one cast aside by a greedy, egoistical father. Bridge has worked hard to help his ailing mother when his father makes him an offer he can't refuse. He will do whatever it takes to get the best care for his mother. But when he is forced to live his brother, Julian's life, he is conflicted in what is right and wrong. Isobel is heartbroken over the life she has been forced to live. She couldn't trust Julian anymore and was prepared to walk away. But after the accident, the kind, loving man she has loved since college has returned to her. But things don't add up and as Izzy questions the changes, she also wants to ignore them as she falls hard for the man in front of her. I loved how both Bridge and Izzy questioned everything, and were not going to be controlled anymore by Bridge's father. I really felt the anxiety that Bridge went thru as he struggled with right and wrong. I also thought that the way that Bridge and Izzy's attraction and relationship felt authentic, even if I had to suspend my belief of the story as a whole. Bridge and Izzy were great characters and I loved how they helped each other heal from past heartache. This is an emotional, exhilarating and sexy story and I hope to read more about Julian!

This book will keep you guessing on what will come next as Bridge pretends to be his estranged twin brother Julian while Julian is in a coma after a car accident. Bridge has hard decisions to make while pretending to be a fiancé and CEO. Only a handful of people know who he is and Izzy his fiancé is not one of them. You will love Bridge and Izzy and as much as you will want to not like Julian your heart will break for him in so many ways.

Wow this book was an emotional roller coaster. From start to finish I wasn't sure who I should root for. The twist just keep on coming and just when you think it's coming together bam the rug gets pulled out from under you. I loved this book so much and enjoyed getting lost in the story. The plot was original and kept me hooked rhroughout. I can't wait ro read more from this series it was truly and amazing book.

Oh. My. Goodness!!!!!
Rachel does it again. Oh the emotional roller coaster this book put me on. And I loved every minute of it. This book is the first in a series and you do not need to have read any other books of Rachel's to enjoy this. This is a great book that is a forbidden love, corporate espionage, twin brothers and a slow burn. All this with a smattering of sexy times. So many twists and turns that I never saw coming. I enjoyed every minute of it! Go run and get this now. You wont be able to put it down.

Oh I was pleasantly surprised by this. Loved the idea of twins switching identities, albeit only 1 twin is aware of doing so, while the other is in a coma. Add in an irresistible lover and you get a love triangle. How would it feel to have had both twins as your lovers??! ;)
Julian is in a coma and his estranged twin Bridge was brought in by their power-hungry Dad to keep their company stable, while keeping Julian's comatose state a secret. Bridge must assume Julian's identity and act as the CEO of their company. In doing so, he must pretend to be Izzy's fiancé too, and that's where things got interesting.
I wouldn't want to go into much details in my review, but I really enjoyed reading how Izzy and Julian / Bridge got along and how much they were attracted to each other. I'm so looking forward to the next book!

Stealing Her is an enthralling contemporary romance about Bridge pretending to be his twin brother while his brother is in a coma. While Julian continues to fight for his life, Bridge steps into his shoes and takes on two new responsibilities. VP of his father's company and fiance to Isobel. Rachel Van Dyken created a story that features a strained relationship between brothers, parents, and a soon to be spouse.
Rachel is one of my favorite authors so I was very excited to read this one. I was sucked in from the first pages. I thought it was a great story that wouldn't be a happily ever after. The Tennyson world is full of manipulation and power and you are always on your toes. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the pin to drop as I was reading.
The story is complex and enjoyed meeting these characters. Before Julian gets in an accident that leaves him comatose, we get to know him briefly. He is dominating in every way. He does it all to get the approval he has always sought out from his father. He vowed to be the man his father wasn't and finds himself heading that direction. Julian doesn't treat his fiance the way she deserves to be treated. Bridge is the complete opposite of his brother. He is kind, compassionate, yet bossy when he needs to be. When his estranged father makes him an offer he can't refuse, he has to change his lifestyle to that of his brothers. He heads to 'his new apartment' and sees the most beautiful woman. She is Julian's fiance Isobel. He automatically notices her hatred and anger towards him. Two people who are about to get married shouldn't have those feelings. He makes it his mission to put a smile on her face every day and protect her always. Isobel is a woman holding on to a love she once experienced. She is about to leave Julian when he gets in the accident. She unknowingly starts to see the 'old Julian' in Bridge and wants to give them another chance.
Bridge and Isobel are great together. They genuinely enjoy each other's company and make each other better. Of course, every love story has its obstacles. Once Isobel finds out the truth, she struggles with her decision. They both are left with guilt and a sense of betrayal.
There are so many things left up in the air. Will Julian wake up? Is love stronger than betrayal?
I give Stealing Her 4 stars. It is a beautiful disaster of a love story. It is intriguing and compelling. I am so excited for more in this series. I can't wait to get more of Julian and his perspective.

Stealing Her by Rachel Van Dyken is the first book in her new Covet Series. Bridge Anderson's life consists of working and trying to keep his mother happy and healthy. As her health worsens the devil from his past, namely his father Edward Tennyson, comes bearing bad news and an offer too good to pass up. His twin brother Julian has been in a terrible car accident and is barely holding on in a coma. Edward needs Bridge to step into Julian's shoes in every sense to keep the business Julian loves a float. Bridge agrees with the price tag of his mother's healthcare bills and access to his trust fund. What he doesn't realize is part of the package is continuing the rocky relationship Julian has with his fiancé Isobel "Izzy" Cunningham. Bridge and Izzy connect deeply and as they start to fall the truth comes out and real life threatens everything they have.
Let's start out with saying that this book was like watching a soap opera, twins separated by an evil father, secrets, car accidents and people in comas. It was like all I needed was dramatic music and aggressive lighting. Bridge was a hero for Izzy when she needed it. He listened to her and prioritized her when Julian was allowing her to fade. His love for his mother made my heart melt a little bit because he wasn't exactly doing the right thing but he had good intentions at the start with wanting to be able to take care of her.
Izzy is a smart girl and should have known much earlier that Bridge wasn't her fiancé. Who comes out of a coma with more muscles? I understand that she was in an emotionally manipulative relationship with Julian and being treated with love and respect made her turn a blind eye but she should have realized earlier. She also accepted the truth of the matter a lot quicker then I expected.
This story was not realistic but entertained me nonetheless. I wanted Bridge and Izzy to get their HEA although it wasn't through traditional methods. Julian didn't deserve Izzy but he also didn't deserve the betrayal that comes with his brother and fiancé falling in love while he was in a coma. His book should definitely be interesting because that wound will not heal easily.
Stealing Her is a dramatic romance with a hero and heroine that you don't want to but find yourself cheering for. 3 stars for this complicated romance.

WOW!! Rachel Van Dyken does it again!!
I was so hooked into this story. I loved the characters and the story.
I do recommend this book

This was a 4.5⭐ read for me! I really loved the story line! It's something that I haven't read alot of. SO glad I read this one!
Bridge was always viewed as the bad guy by their father, the one who always got into trouble and his twin brother Julian, the good guy and who lived up to his expectation. Despite that Julian and Bridge always have the tightest relationship. A divorce between their parents had kept them apart and Bridge chose to live with their mother.
Years later, Julian has changed and stopped all of their contacts. He changed to be Bridge's most hated man on earth, which is their father, and abandoned Bridge and their mother.
Everly never thought being a Tennyson woman would be so lonely and she felt abandoned. She was determined to break their engagement. But an accident happened and when he's back in their apartment, he was back to his old college self. The man who she had fell for and she's in crossroads whether to still go through their engagement or not.

5 amazing stars
Bridge and Izzy, wow oh wow, this was an amazing read. Had me hooked from the first page till the end and kept me on my toes. It had me thinking one thing was going to happen then it took a turn and it was something else. Everything I thought I knew what was going to happen there was curve ball. I loved the chemistry between the couple and everything about this book. I’m not that it ended and I really, really need book 2 like yesterday.
As always Rachel your stories are perfect. Another must read!

4 out of 5 Stars

Stealing Her is book 1 in the Covet Series. I enjoyed Stealing Her and can't wait to continue with the series. I love Isobel and Bridge.

Stealing Her was a passionate story about love, betrayal, hope and sacrifice. Like all of Rachel Van Dyken's books, I was swept away from that first page. The prologue was in the past and set the stage perfectly. We saw the family dynamics that shocked me and instantly made me feel sympathy and compassion towards Bridge. From there we got taken on a ride that was emotional, morally grey, and completely twisted.
I’d traded heaven for hell.
For them.
And I would do it every damn time. - Bridge
I liked Bridge right away. He was strong, tenacious and loved deeply. My heart broke for him as I learned about his mom's medical condition and watched all of the sacrifices he made for her. She was his life. His heart. Bridge was such a generous man that was good to the core. But with medical bills and caring for his mom becoming overwhelming at times, Bridge made a deal with the devil. His estranged father. If he played the part of his twin brother, who he hadn't seen since he was a child, his mom would be taken care of. So he accepted the deal, while his brother was in a coma.
I made a vow to her, even though she didn’t know it. I would give her the best few weeks of her life, days that would be filled with smiles, not control.
And then do the cruelest thing a man could do.
Turn her back over to the real Julian the minute he woke up.
We alternated between Bridge and Isobel, who was his twin brother's fiance. I liked Isobel but it pained me to see how she was being mentally abused by Julian Tennyson, Bridge's twin. He cheated, lied and treated her like something he could easily discard. By the time she was finally finding her voice and standing up for herself, Julian was in a horrific accident.
I was being incredibly creepy.
She wasn’t mine to stare at or to want.
And yet a tiny voice in my head said she was.
That she was more mine than she was his.
Because at least when I looked at her, I saw her.
When Bridge and Isobel met, I didn't know what to expect. He was pretending to be Julian, so I thought she should know right away. Right? But her and Julian had fallen apart in the previous months, they were strangers to each other. So the fact that Isobel noticed differences with "Julian" just made her realize how distant they had actually grown. It played out beautifully, but I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Because the truth always seems to come out.
“I swear to you that the man standing here, in front of you, will never cheat on you. Ever.”
I looked up into his eyes, for the first time noticing that his lashes looked slightly longer. My body screamed it was right, my mind told me that I was hallucinating, because people’s eyelashes didn’t just change, did they?
I loved watching Bridge fumble his way into acting like Julian. Especially when it came to Isobel. But I was always nervous because when they were together, they felt right yet also forbidden. There was an instant connection and spark between them and I knew that if they were truly together, they would be magnificent. But Isobel was with Julian. And if he woke up from his coma, the facade would end. At times it felt like I was rooting for the wrong brother, hoping that Bridge would win Isobel over. But when is love ever rational?
She turned around and made her way into the living room, she didn’t see the face I made after she called me by his name.
Or the helpless feeling in my soul when I realized that I was making headway for a man who hated me, and I was falling for a woman who was and would always be his.
The story flew by quickly and I loved how I didn't even see some events coming. One of them was dark and I just stared at the page in disbelief. Another made me gasp. And while there wasn't a ton of side characters, two were the perfect villains. The twin's dad was wicked, smart, ruthless and had no heart. He was a deadly combination. And his new wife Marla was someone who I wanted to disappear. Forever. Thankfully the twin’s mom was a bright light of kindness, love and patience. I loved her.
I’d always thought I was a good person— solid, loyal, dependable.
And now?
I felt like an unapologetic thief.
I leaned over and kissed her on the cheek.
When you want a forbidden love story that has depth and emotions leaping from the pages, definitely pick up Stealing Her! This book was extremely emotional and deep. It wasn't like Rachel Van Dyken's other books where I found myself constantly laughing and smiling. There was a heaviness to this story that was not lightened by laughter. It worked out perfectly for me, since I had just finished a cute and fluffy book. So yes of course I recommend this book!
PS Here's a quote I loved so, so, so much!
My jaw dropped. “Are you telling me you read romance novels?”
“No.” He pointed his finger at me and laughed. “I’m telling you I skip to the good parts, do the necessary strategizing in my head, you know, like wondering if you could actually do that sort of thing at that angle, and then I store it in my head for future use. That’s not reading, sweetheart, that’s fucking research.”

What a wild ride! Wow. Can’t wait for book 2 already! I need more!
Bridge and Isobel’s relationship is so far from ordinal and they met under the weirdest of circumstances...she thinks he’s her fiancé. But she don’t know how far from the truth that really is!
A secret brother, family drama, over bearing rich dad, sweet unsuspecting fiancé... sounds like a great story to me. And RVD did a fabulous job, I was so immersed in their story that I flew through the pages. Devouring all the wicked p, sorted details of a father who manipulated one son to impersonate the other, including marrying his girl.
Want a great story with family drama, secrets and a hero that you'll just fall in love with? Pick up this today and you won’t be disappointed!
