Thank you so much for allowing me to read and review your titles.
I do appreciate it and continue to review books that I get the chance to read.
Thanks again!
Great story and loved the romance. Loved the cast of characters and how the story came to be. Great story and I would read this author again.
On one hand, I appreciate books that portray a complex but loving relationship with a person who has a mental illness. The early part of the plot portrays the mother as a hoarder. But her recovery is a bit too simple. She's depressed, to be certain, but all it takes is someone cleaning the house for her to completely change. And I don't believe that's an accurate representation of the illness. Instead it's plot device that prevents the protagonist from connecting with her peers.
This book was really enjoyable to read- I loved the unique family structure, and the sisterhood that comes out of it. I felt for the MC as she dealt with her mother's hoarding; and I kind of liked that it was never expressly named. Sweet depiction of first love!
