Decent but the writing is still very stilted; suffers from slight case of sequel syndrome. Plot is negligible and somewhat disappointing -- where's the originality? I feel like this is doing the same basic plotline most major fantasies run through and I find myself less and less engaged in what's happeningnand to who. Kozloff tends to tell too much & silly worldbuilding (society based on hair color?) doesn’t help a diluted narrative.
