This is a nice Romance, Mystery with a bit of paranormal thrown in.
Although slow in places, the characters are well developed and it is a well written story with no sex or foul language which in this day and age makes a real change.

Jessie has a unique gift, and Matt the sheriff is Very open minded. The story looks at the past and is a multi layered deep murder/crime. Jessie last comes to the foreground as well. She needs to open up about her past to move forward. Intense at times. I found their relationship Very tame! I enjoyed the book and will.read more by this author. 4 stars
