HER CHRISTMAS WISH
SHERELLE GREEN

The Bare Sophistication Series has been an enjoyable and entertaining series of stories with memorable characters. One of those characters now has her own story which marks the end of the series. I love the way that talented author, Sherelle Green, adapted the “Best Friend’s Sibling” trope to tell Kyra Reed and Luke O’Connor’s story. Luke is best friend to one of Kyra’s brothers, and has watched Kyra grow from a young girl to a young woman. When the story opens, Kyra is celebrating her twenty-first birthday, and of course, Luke is on set. Kyra has plans to finally tell and show Luke how she feels about him. After all, she is now a young woman of legal age, and it’s time that Luke knows how she really feels about him—no more schoolgirl crush. Let’s just say that Luke’s reaction was not what Kyra was expecting.
Friends and family side characters play a major role in helping to move the storyline alone. It was good catching up with the Bare Sophisticated ladies, their spouses and families. The side-character role award, however, goes to Luke’s brother, Nash. I love his character. I also loved the HEA. It was a long time coming, but so worth it!
I love Sherelle Green’s style. Her Contemporary Romance stories engage the reader from the opening pages of the prologue to the last pages of the epilogue. HER CHRISTMAS WISH is that story, and I recommend it. Enjoy!

DESIGNED BY LOVE-
SHERYL LISTER

Sheryl Lister’s last Kimani Romance also marks the last book of the Hunter’s of Sacramento Series. Dr. Jeremy Hunter, tops in his field of medical robotics, is the last sibling of the Los Angeles Grays and the Sacramento Hunters to find his mate. It takes a trip to Madrid, Spain to find her, but Professor Serita Edwards catches Jeremy’s attention at first glance. I like this couple. If I said it once, I’ll say it again, one reason that Sheryl Lister’s characters stand out is because of their occupations. This time, both the hero and heroine are engineers in the fascinating field of robotics. Kudos to this prolific author who involves her characters in some pretty nifty occupations.
The Grays and Hunters are reunited in this story, and it is great catching up with them, and their expanding families. The Epilogue presents the perfect HEA that is certain to leave you smiling. Kudos again to the author for including one of my favorite songs, Setembro by Quincy Jones.
I liked this story, and I recommend it for your reading pleasure. DESIGNED BY LOVE is a winner.

Get your passports ready for this two in one Kimani collection.

In Her Christmas Wish, Sherelle Green gives us a trip to St. Lucia where we get to know a little bit more about Luke O'Connor. If you follow this author, chances are you've met him in previous stories. He has always been somewhat of a mystery.

Kyra and Luke have been on a slow simmer for 10 years. When harsh words are spoken between them, it cause them to separate. They never got over each other, with their hearts belonging to the other. When Kyra has a need to find some property, Luke is the best person for the job. When the two are in close proximity sparks are ignited.

Designed by Love, Sheryl Lister prepared a trip abroad to Madrid for professional conference. This final installment of the Grays ends with Jeremy, the last single Gray.

These two bond of their love for robotics. Jeremy believed in love at first site, Serita not so much, one look had these two inseparable for the duration of the conference and beyond.

If you enjoy second chance love and love at first glance, this on is sure to be a treasure.

Both stories were great. I loved the first story. Both were around the holidays but didn't necessarily have to do with the holidays. Both stories gave me tons of feels.

Love is worth waiting for.

That is the theme in this 2 for 1 collection from Kimani Romance.

Both stories deal with couples who are ready for love, but something is holding them back. In Her Christmas Wish, Kyra and look have known each other their own entire lives. Kyra has been in love with Luke for just as long, but Luke has been denying his feelings. After 10 years apart, Luke has decided to man up and go and get his girl. But Kyra however isn’t as enthusiastic to be with her life-long crush as he thought she would be. He hurt her when he rejected her all those years ago and that changed how she looked at life and love.

In Designed by Love, Serita has known Jeremy for just a week and although he has hinted at his feelings for her, she does’t trust it. Because of how she has been treated in the past, she doesn’t trust that Jeremy loves her for her and won’t try to change her.

Serita and Kyra were both hesitant to love. They let their fear rule them and almost lost out on their future. In both cases the men stepped up their game. They were loving, understanding, and patient. Sometimes a little too patient. Family also plays a big part of both books. All characters are family oriented and close to family and friends. There is a sense of community and love between the secondary characters that help both couples along on their love journey. Whether it’s advice or a listening ear, it was nice to see.
