Okay, so the story is actually a solid 3.5 read for me but better than 3 stars so that’s why you see 4 LOL There’s not a specific big thing in the story I can say that made it just an okay read for me, but I will say that Finn himself was a lot ! Like, eye twitching amounts LOL The concept of him was good but the execution was sooooooooooooo over the top that …. You get me so I’m moving on from him. The style of writing isn’t a bad one, but it’s not what I prefer. I tend to bore easily with a story if the characters are too introspective and for me, Brooke did entirely too much of that. Yes, the dual POV helped, but it’s just not my thing *shrug*

I know it sounds like I didn't enjoy this story, but that isn't the case. I just didn't love a lot of the execution and I'm hoping that it gets better with future books :)

This is my first time reading a Melody Anne book. The book Finn was so middle ground for me though. It started off great, the premise of family is everything and love each member where they are, really made me so happy to dig into this book. Finn was very likable and his instant attraction for Brooke was fun. Brooke was even easy to like. The problem I had was with how Finn was supposedly uneasy about the fortunes his new family cultivated but how easily he adapted to the lifestyle. I felt his values were easily changed and that left me a little flat. I was actually hoping for a better ending too, for Finn's sake. I won't spoil it for the reader.

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Finn is a military veteran that has his life turned upside down.
He had no idea that he was related to the Anderson's, those wealthy Andersons.
He just want to live his simple life.
When Brooke was able to knock Finn down during defense class, she did not anticipate the outcome.
Finn was totally smitten by Brooke, but Brooke had shut down emotionally.
Let the wooing begin!
I think that it was time for Brooke to find love again.
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I’m always up for a new Melody Anne Series and Finn doesn’t disappoint. Finn is a great hero as he is a little lost because of injuries requiring him to leave his beloved career in the military. However, the minute he lays eyes on Brooke Garrison he is a goner. What I loved about his character is once he realized what Brooke meant to his heart and life he didn’t give up. He was so loveable in his desire to win Brooke’s love. He had such a great personality and didn’t let anybody discourage him and he took all the teasing from his brothers in such a fun loving manner. Brooke on the other hand had some trust issues and was trying to get through the loss of her beloved brother. She didn’t think she was ready for a relationship so she kept her walls up so she wouldn’t be hurt. Once she started to let Finn in she realized what she truly wanted in this life. Brooke’s two best friends and Finn’s brothers added such fun and laughter to the story as secondary characters.

This story is a great start to this series and I look forward to finding out how each of Finn’s brothers gets their HEA. I’m sure this author with her love of writing about big families and the ups and downs that goes with that will find interesting and lovely ways to bring these stories to eager readers.

I received an ARC from Netgalley for an honest review.

Finn of course was another overly anxious Anderson to find a woman and want to marry her without the feelings being mutual. Brooke was extremely strong-willed and at times a little overbearing when it came to her attitude towards life and her ability to take care of herself. I loved the way Brooke and her friends had such a strong bond and the way Finn took care of her regardless of her acknowledging her true feelings. As always Joseph Anderson made an appearance and meddled which I really love and can't wait to see him work more magic on the newly found Anderson kids.

I received an ARC from netgallery and I am voluntarily providing this review.

Finn is the first book I have read by Melody Anne and it will not be the last. This book was so refreshing and I could not put it down!

Finn Anderson is such a breath of fresh air. I am so used to heroes who are trying to hold onto their bachelorhood and are super reluctant to settle down. Finn was the complete opposite. He knew as soon as he met Brooke that he wanted more and honestly, I never expect that out of the hero in a book. Brooke, however, was much more reluctant. I also appreciated this since it also seemed out of the norm. I feel like typically the woman is falling all over the man and ready to commit as soon as possible. Brooke was more skeptical and was constantly trying to keep the walls around her heart.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick and lighthearted read and I definitely recommend it. I cannot wait to read the rest of the brothers' stories!

3.5 stars
I’m always looking forward to read military love stories and this book seemed perfect for my mood.
The characters are lovely and reliable, their back story and interaction is great as well as the writing style.
Unfortunately something felt off for me. I love Brooke and her independence as well her broken heart and fears, but Finn was acting a bit too childish too many times for my liking and other times he was too much to deal with.
Overall it’s a nice, easy read that I’m sure many people will enjoy it.

I can’t remember if I read any other Anderson Family books by Melody Ann, but it’s a big family so I might have.

Joseph Anderson is the matriarch of the Anderson Clan and loves to meddle in his families love life.

Finn and his four brothers are thrown into the family as they are the son of an Anderson and have “just been found” as their Mother contacts Joseph from her deathbed.

Joseph brings them in and immediately has a project for them so they stay close.
This book is about Finn and Brooke.

It’s insta-love for Finn after a good 15 minutes into the book and Brooke stays insecure for a long time. It’s repetitive and isn’t my favorite by this author. I had to make myself finish through the cheesy-ness of it.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ebook copy in exchange for an honest review.

Finn by Melody Anne is book One in the Anderson Billionaires. This is the story of Finn Anderson and
Brooke Garrison. Finn is was once a solider with a Seal Team but had to retire due to a injury then he learns that he and his family are apart of the famous Joseph Anderson family. So he is dealing with life changes then he meets the Brooke who is the local doctor. Finn is immediately attracted to her but his feelings start going further then the first attraction part. Brooke is dealing with a loss of her own but isn't so willing to put her heart out to be hurt so she isn't so easy going with this new feeling she gets from Finn.
Enjoyed their story

I love the idea of more Anderson’s. I thought this book started off a little slow and maybe it was just laying the ground work for the new clan. I’m glad I kept reading because it got much better. I love that the guy in his book was the first one to fall. The girl wasn’t the one falling at his feet. It was a nice change from most modern romances out there. Finn and Brooke are very well suited and also people with hard pasts. Can’t wait until Noah and Sarah.

Match making at its BEST!

In another great Anderson family book we get to watch Finn and Brooke and the medaling family patriarchs.

Melody Anne’s written another perfect love story. The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and everything I expect from the Anderson’s. I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
Authors Blurb: Finn Anderson is a loyal military veteran who has no desire to live a life of luxury and ease, but sometimes a person doesn’t get a choice. His life is flipped upside down when he and his four brothers learn they’re long-lost relatives of the absurdly famous and wealthy Joseph Anderson. The eccentric but generous billionaire puts the brothers to work building a new veterans center, and that’s not all: Joseph won’t stop until each nephew finds love. Finn has never expected or wanted an easy life, and he struggles with his early retirement from the elite SEAL team. But when a very confident Brooke Garrison literally sweeps him off his feet during a self-defense class he’s teaching, he thinks less about his past and more about a brand-new future. If Finn knows anything for certain, it’s that he can’t let this woman get away. Though Brooke is tough and compassionate, the loss of her brother has left her vulnerable. She isn’t sure she can risk loving and losing another person in her life, including a very determined ex-SEAL. Can the two of them look beyond their past wounds and embrace what they’re feeling?

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Finn Anderson is back home after an early retirement from the military that injured him. Brooke is a doctor in town, who recently lost her brother. They meet at a self defense class and Brooke surprises Finn with her skills. It was at that moment, minutes after first meeting that Finn knew he was going to marry Brooke and started his pursuit for her.
It was insta love for Finn and he wasn’t afraid to admit it. He did go a little over the top at times when it came to pursuing Brooke. His brothers even thought he was being a little over the top in his methods. But that man knew what he wanted and he wanted Brooke to be his. On the other end, it was not insta love for Brooke. She had walls up and she wanted to keep them up. She didn’t want to experience loss like she felt after losing her brother. She tried her best to resist Finn and his charm.
I enjoyed this story, I loved Brooke and Finn, though there were a few times Finn was a little too over the top for me. I haven’t read the previous Anderson Billionaires series, so this family is new to me, but I am definitely curious about them all now. I have read the Forbes brothers series, so it was nice to see a little visit for the Kian.
I can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the Anderson brothers!

An enjoyable story, I’ve read a few say it was over the top and far fetched but come on, aren’t most romances, if they were reality I wouldn’t want to read them. It’s fun, deals with some serious issues and full of romance, likeable characters and my favourite meddling relatives. The first in a new series of brothers I look forward to the next book.

Unfortunately, this lost me almost immediately with its cheesy, over the top feel. When the hero is declaring his intent to marry the heroine (and holding back his profession of love) around 10% of the way into the book (after around 10 minutes spent together), I can’t take the story seriously. I love a man who knows what he wants but this was just too much, which is disappointing because I was intrigued by the premise.

The story follows Finn, a former soldier who has recently been forced into retirement following an injury. He meets Brooke, the town doctor, while teaching a self defense class. She takes him by complete surprise by stealing the show - and his heart - within minutes of meeting her. What follows is Finn’s pursuit of Brooke; he will stop at nothing to get forever with her.

This has the foundation of a good book, but so many things threw it off course. Finn is the biggest problem for me - even his brothers think he’s acting crazy. He comes off as a little nuts and a lot cocky, coming up with a plan to win Brooke as his wife before he even knows if she’s single. While Brooke is probably acting rationally, when compared to Finn she really seems to be overly resistant to a relationship. The combination of the two made them both seem extreme, which made it difficult to root for Finn and Brooke. What did I like about the book? Who these characters are down to their core; they’re both likeable people out to do some good, and if the connection wasn’t so over the top, I think I would’ve enjoyed their story. This one is a miss for me, but I appreciated receiving an ARC from NetGalley. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read many love stories featuring Joseph Anderson's children, nieces and nephews. This book brings Joseph to the forefront again with the sons of his uncle who he quickly "adopts" as his own nephews. I like Joseph and the message of love and family that comes through this book. The story of Finn and Brooke was not very compelling. There were a few inconsistencies like the fact that he can outplay a few high school kids in basketball yet has a war injury that causes a limp. There is also a lot of repetition about Brooke's fears and vascillation over a relationship which gets a little old.

I just really enjoyed this book. It was just really easy to get lost in this book. I just couldn’t get enough of it and didn’t want it to end. I will definitely be reading more by this author.

I've enjoyed the other books by Ms. Anne featuring the Anderson's and their matchmaking patriarch. I'm glad to find this new spinoff series with some newly discovered cousins who have been estranged from the main clan but have now been brought into the fold.
Finn leads off with his romance of the doctor in the community that the Andersons are setting up for retired Vets. Finn first meets Brooke when he is teaching a self defense class to the women in the community. While he has always shied away from romance he is bowled over at first glance and begins a campaign worthy of a military exercise to win his fair lady.
This is a fast paced romance that hits the spot.

I'm so excited to start this new Anderson Billionaires series. I love that we still get Joseph Anderson and the whole family. Now we get to meet Finn and his brothers. Each I'm sure, are going to steal your heart just as much as Finn does in this one. I love Finn. He is strong and persistent. He is amazing with his brothers that will leave you smiling and laughing out loud. Brooke, she is incredible. I love how she is with Finn. She is strong, independent and knows how to put Finn in his place. You can feel the sparks flying between them. You will love Brooke so much and see how good she is for Finn. I loved every moment of this one and so can't wait to watch more Andersons fall.
