Elle Saunders just lost her grandfather. He was her only family member... almost. There are her four friends, the Wildflowers. And they are the ones to whom her grandfather left his campground. The five friends decide to band together and create a camp for adults -- let them relive their childhoods but with adult activities (some more adult than they were expecting.) But they need to make updates, as cheaply as possible. Which leads them to hiring the Costa brothers (though that isn't the name the brothers use). The men are there because the rumor is that Elle is the latest woman their father has been having an affair with., the latest whose business their father is sinking money into. Money that the board of the family company is asking an accounting for.
Middle brother Liam is as determined as his brothers to find out what happened but that doesn't mean he can't feel his own attraction to Elle. But he needs to work on finding the money. And avoidng Ryan, one of the waitresses who recognized the brothers and is threatening to expose them to the Wildflowers if one of them doesn't agree to... marry her? or at least make her their girlfriend, I guess.
That part of the story was a little weak as were the parts with the Costas father. I didn't feel like the story flowed very well but it was fun and fluffy enough that it didn't annoy me more than a little.

I really enjoyed this installment to Jill's Wildflower series. The book is written very well with an interesting take on the story from each girl's perspective for each book. There is also a great mystery to it. I can't wait to see where this series goes.

This is book 2 in the Wildflowers series, and because of an overarching theme/mystery I do not think it would stand alone. The romance in Summer Heat is first rate. I was impressed by the depth of the characters, both primary and secondary. I appreciated Ms Sanders' dialogue, sharp and character/situation appropriate. The story moved quickly. I was disappointed not to have as much story resolution as i expected, however Im assuming the succeeding stories will uncover more. I look forward to book 3.

Interesting and multi-faceted plot with a considerate number of players with different but similar motives, sometimes difficult to remember who's who and what their role was.A group of forward thinking, independent ,strong women who embark on a risky project and inadvertently draw the interest of brothers who have their own mysterious reasons for being around. The teaser of the secrecy is threaded throughout the book and remains unanswered all the way to the end of the story.Cannot wait for the big reveal of the secret the main heroine is holding, so I'm going to read the next book in the series.
Thanks Netgalley for this advance copy,my review is unbiased.

This is the second book in the Wildflowers series by Jill Sanders. The Wildflowers are a group of five women who met at summer camp as kids and have no turned the summer camp into a high end resort. This book is about Elle and Liam. Elle inherited the camp from her grandfather after he passed and she's convinced her group of friends to revamp the camp into a high end camp for adults.

Elle and Liam have an instant attraction and I really enjoyed reading their relationship grow. This book is steamy, funny and romantic. I love how this series overlaps each book, but the next one goes further than the one before it. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Thanks to Montlake Romance and NetGalley for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Elle had fond memories of the summer camp that her grandfather owned and had made lifelong friendships with Hannah, Aubrey, Zoey and Scarlett because of it. When her grandfather passes away the five of them decide to pool their resources and convert it into an adult camp so that they can hold onto the place they all loved so much.

Liam, Dylan and Owen applied for jobs at the camp as they believe the women, in particular Elle, has the information they need about their father. Liam was tasked with getting close to Elle to find out what she knows and Elle is willing to let that happen as she believes that there is a lot she and her friends don’t know about the brothers and why they are there.

Sweet and sexy Elle and Liam are unable to deny the feelings between them so what started out as a fact- finding mission becomes complicated. I am looking forward to the stories about the other women and to see how it all plays out.

Summer Heat by Jill Sanders is book two in her Wildflowers Series.
Elle Sanders is a 21 year old woman and she grew up with her beloved grandfather. But now she had to say goodbye and she's mourning him. She and her group of friends spent their summers at River Camp and when she inherits aorementioned camp the women are determined to re-open it.
They hire lokal help, aka Levi whom they grew up with and some not lokal brothers, Owen, Dylan and Liam Rhodes. The three brothers have their own aganda and keep their secrte close.
Summer Haet is a sweet contemporary romance. I greatly enjoyed redaing theis beautifully thought out, beautifully written and beautifully told story, book two in series. I can't wait what happens next to the Wildflowers, who's book will be next. 4,5 Stars.

Summer Heat is a fun, sexy romance about a group of friends that have been friends for many years and their love and loyalty to each other just warms your heart. There is just enough mystery, suspense, drama, angst, and hot guys to keep you wanting more. Looking forward to the next book!

This is book 2 in the Wildflowers series and I would absolutely read book 1 before reading book 2 as this story kind of coincides with book 1. You may be confused about some things if you don't read book 1. In this one we get Elle and Liam's story. Elle and her friends have taken over what was their summer camp and turned it into an adult getaway. And since it is such a handful for them to keep running, they hire brother's to help them manage everything. Liam took the job in order to get close to Elle and confront her on luring his father away from not only his business but his family. But the attraction they both feel for each other keeps getting in the way of what they both think they need to be concentrating on.

This story is basically a continuation of the first book but it runs concurrently with it. Liam and Elle have a lot of chemistry together but they also have a lot of issues that they need to work out. This book seemed to have quite a few things besides just a romance story. There is suspense in there as they try to figure out exactly what happened with his dad, there are secrets that need to be dealt with and it almost seemed like a second chance even though it technically really wasn't. Definitely well worth the read and I can't wait to read the 3rd book and find out where the author takes us next!

Jill Sanders is a great author. I always feel at ease when I read her books. She definitely knows how to keep her readers glued to their seat. Her stories are often down to earth. Jill Sanders is very talented and creative.

Summer Heat was an amazing book. It is the second book in the series. The characters were very likeable. I felt I could relate in some ways with the characters. Their struggles were both understandable and relatable as well as realistic. I laughed and had heartswooning moments. I couldn't put the book down so I read it in one day. I truly liked the plot and storyline. The secondary characters were great. I love everything about this book. Amazing read by an equally amazing author.

Summer Heat is the second book in the Wildflowers series, and the timeline is overlapping with
Summer Nights. There is a mystery that runs through the entire series, with each book advancing it a little bit more.

Summer Heat focuses on the relationship between Elle and Liam. With Liam's father missing, he and his brothers took a job at the summer camp that three friends run, thinking the women have something to do with his disappearance. Liam find himself strongly attracted to Elle, and she to him, but Liam doesn't know if she's actually involved in his father's disappearance, so giving in to the attraction could prove very distracting on his quest for answers. Elle, in the meantime, doesn't think she's a good judge of men, so she doesn't trust herself, either!

The series is well-written, with good chemistry and good character and plot development. I'll definitely finish the series so I can find out there the Costa dad has run off to, and I guarantee I'll enjoy it as well based on the first two books.

This is the second book in this series and I actually liked it more than the first book, and that does not normally happen, but that is the case with this one. We had met Liam in the last book he is one of brothers who is looking for his father and thinking that Elle was his dads mistress but as he spends time with her he doesn't think that is the case. Liam was entrusted to spend more time with Elle trying to find anytype of clues as to where their dad is at. Elle is one of the wildflowers a group of girls that came to be best friends at a time when they all needed each other and continued to be the best of friends, now they each own a part of the retreat but know that these group of brothers are hiding something and they are going to find out.. I don't want to say anymore so that you grab a copy and Enjoy! Can't wait for Hannah and Owen's story, and then we need someone for Scar and Aubrey- or is Aubrey with Aiden? Just wishing..

3.75/5

This is the second book of the Wildstone series and the first one that I have read. Even though this could be read as a standalone, I think that reading book 1 first would help you understand the characters of this story. Having not read the first book, I was a little lost but not much. I found that Elle and Liam were likeable. Their chemistry was off the charts. It was a good read.

Of course Jill Sanders just had to go and top her last book that I loved with this book that I actually think I love even more. It’s a perfect Jill Sanders book. Hawt.....adorable, super sexy and absolutely made me melt. “Summer Heat” brought all the feels and left me wanting more! Bring on the next book please. This is a one click and you won’t regret it! Happy reading!!

Elle is running a camp with her four BFFS. Liam and his brothers come searching for their dad - but don't want to alert anyone as to why they are there. The guys get jobs at the resort but it doesn't take too long for the girls to catch on that something is up. Originally, the guys think Elle is their dad's latest mistress. When Liam lets that slip, Elle finds that hilarious. Turns out Elle knows their dad but not quite in the way anyone expected.
This is a great series! We're still not sure where the bigger story is going - so many questions about Leo and crazy Ryan is still hanging around. But Liam and Elle are a great match up even though it takes them a bit to figure it out. I love that Elle is in charge yet knows how to rely on her pals to help her through things. I love this group of Wildflowers and cannot wait for the rest of their stories!

This series is different from others in the way that it seems all the books run almost parallel with each successive book giving you a little more depth into the great disappearance of the brothers father as well as the girls lives and friendship. Well written and probably my favorite series so far from Jill Sanders.

Unfortunately I was unable to get into the characters in this book and now that I've read some of the reviews I think the reason may come from the fact that I didn't read the first book in this series. I had to keep returning to the previous chapter to see who was who and I think I might have lost some of the depth of the whole storyline because of that. I would suggest reading these in order to get the full effect. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

I enjoyed this story a bit more than the first book in the series. I found the characters better drawn and the chemistry between them is off the charts as are the scenes.
The mystery of where their father is hiding or what happened exactly has a lot of layers that are unfolding one by one and bring a great addition to the story overall.
There are trust issues, there's suspense and there's love that will always overcome everything no matter what we tell ourselves.
Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Interesting take on writing in this series Each one tells the story from a different perspective While at the same time each book is the story of a different couple

The story revolves around a camp for wealthy guests and the disappearance of the Costa father. At the same time we get a the love story of Liam and Elle you don'e really need to read the first book to follow the story however as the writing is so flawless I would recommend that you
