Book two in Jill Sanders new series, Wildflowers, about a summer camp turned high end resort/retreat.
After he died,. Elle Sanders inherited the summer camp her grandfather ran for years. Wanting to keep the land and his legacy, she convinces her friends to go in with her on a new venture...a high end luxury resort for adults. Needing help, the girls hire three brothers as general men-of-work. Romance blooms between Elle and the youngest brother, Liam, as they work together to achieve success.
Sexy and sweet, with some quirky moments thrown in, Summer Heat is sure to satisfy you.
I am totally loving this series. These sisters have a tight and loving circle always having each other's back but each has their own insecurities. Brothers apply for jobs at the girls new adult camp who have secrets of their own. Jill Sanders knows just how to give her readers an intense mystery, steamy chemistry, and the push and pull of learning to trust and love💞💞💞💞💞
Ohhhh how I loved this book! What a great build up!
I hated how I had to stop and "adult" while reading this. Great story will definitely be reading more from this author.
Elle was raised by her grandfather. After he died he left to her and her "wildflower" friends camp. They decided to run as a camp for adults. While hiring people, they hired three brothers. Liam, one of the brothers and Elle got close to each other, they start spending a lot of time together. Liam and his brother try to find their father and need info from Elle. They get few surprises from her. But what will happen if she knows more and can't share with him?
Great story with awesome characters.
Another treasure from Jill Sanders. The new series about the Wildflowers, 5 women that met at the age of 10 and have been friends ever since. Book two, Summer Heat, follows Elle Saunders and her friends starting the summer camp for adults. Liam Costa and his brothers take jobs at the camp thinking Elle and her friends know the whereabouts of their father who has disappeared. Another surprising thing in this book is the exciting subplot.
Jills books are always so much fun and always have a plot twist. They pull you in from the start and you have a hard time not staying up all night to read them. I highly recommend this book and this new series.
This is the second in the series about a group of girls who became friends after meeting at a summer camp run by Elle's grandpa Joe. They called themselves the Wildflowers as they were all different but beautiful.
This story is about Elle and Liam Costa who is at the camp to find his missing dad. He and his brothers became staff to search the camp as they only clue to his whereabouts was a notation with Elle's name on it. Their cover is blown in the first book but the ramifications continue in this.
I am amazed at the intricacies in the plots of these stories. Each book drops just a few more clues as to what is going on with Leo Costa, the missing dad, as well as the characters. Several times the story goes in unexpected ways which make reading it hard to do in anything other than one sitting.
I look forward to the rest in this series!
Summer Heat was a great addition to the Wildflower saga. The beginning was a little slow due to the repetitive history of the first few months everyone is together. You see it from a different perspective.
Once things got going I could not put the book down. A great story that grabbed me! Can't wait to see what the other Wildflowers bring to the mix.
I am glad to get more of the story of the missing dad. Still a mystery. I like Elle and Liam. Their story overlaps with the first book in this series and explains more about what is happening with Liam's father. It was pretty much love at first sight, but neither of them wanted to admit it. When Elle finds out Liam's real identity, she isn't sure she can be with someone who would lie to her. Liam feels bad about the secrets, but they had to do that in order to find their dad. Once the truth is out, will they have a chance?
This series is a very interesting approach. Each book tells the same events from a different set of perspectives and then continues the story just a bit further. I am really enjoying the layered plotting that this approach brings to the storyline. I can't wait to see what happens next. I do highly recommend that you read this series in order as it will make a difference in how the story unfolds for you. As always, the author weaves in some spicy heat between the main characters in each book that is the delightful topping to an already entertaining plot!
This is such a good book!
It's a engaging & sexy
romance, filled with intrigue.
Elle & her childhood friends, also
known as the Wildflowers,
re-opened her grandfather's camp.
Three mysterious brothers showed
to apply for jobs, along with secrets
& suspensions.
Elle ❤ Liam, are perfect together.
Can't wait for Book 3!
I loved everything about this
Must Read Story!!
This second in series starts with a prologue. The book doesn't exactly take off where the first one finished, there is some slight overlapping but its done well. This time we are focusing on Elle and Liam - They have great chemistry and there's some real sizzle going on between them. The main mystery about the missing Costa father is still there with only a slight more insight into it. There is more to this story. All the other characters are well covered as well. This was as entertaining as the first and not only the characters are growing but the camp too.
