Basically this is the book based on Homo-relationship in which they are having a child (maybe adopted or from earlier bi-relation) to carry their family. However, I do not understand the concept to bring this topic up. This is afterall a picture book, which is meant to be for children and this is very serious topic for them to get it correctly. It is not just the answers they have to given but the sense to keep before answering to any question. It could have been better to explain the reason rather than answers. Right guidance always keep generations in check; and we must be thoughtful to that.

The perfect book for my sons. Thank you for writing such an amazing inclusive story.
This was an adorable children's book that provides a quick story told through the voice of a little boy who has two mom's. His friends ask him if his two moms can do all the things that they think a daddy should be able to do and its great to see the boy explain that his moms can do anything dads can do. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC.
A Tale of Two Mommies is about a little kid who is answering their friends questions of who they goes to when certain things happen in their life. Various scenarios are discussed where the Momma or the Mommy is the main person who usually helps in that particular task. The child explains that there are also some special things that BOTH moms help them with.
It's an adorable way to help kids with two moms see themselves and be able to relate to characters in their stories and a great way for kids with more traditional families start to learn about family diversity and different dynamics within them.
We are a two mom family to two little ones who are currently in preschool. They loved this story and I definitely think that they are the absolute perfect target audience age to most enjoy this book. We will be sure to put this one on their physical bookshelves as well.
Easy Five stars!

"A Tale of Two Mommies" is such a wonderful story that introduces children to LGBTQ families and helps normalize them at a young age. It is a great resource that I hope will find its way onto many bookshelves.
Was an ok read. Very informative and interesting. It was open and showed regular parenting through two moms from their child’s eyes
I enjoyed A Tale of Two Daddies so I wanted to check this one out too! Unfortunately the download is blank and not working right for me…
The pictures are amazing. What a wonderful message to normalize this situation for anyone feeling out of place. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC. This is a great informational text about families that could have 2 moms. I like how throughout the book different kiddos ask questions (that are appropriate for young children to ask). A great addition to books to celebrate families and how families can be different which is ok.
Kid's questions and answers that shows that a family with two mommies are exactly like any other families. Each one of the mommies have things they do and don't do, but both of them take care of him.
Really cute illustrations.
A beautiful story of having a family with two moms. Stories like this help to normalize families that already exist everywhere.
This book is the sweetest ever, ever, EVER! It was so heartwarming to read it written in such a beautiful, loving way! All families are valid and beautiful, and there should be way, way more books like this one.
Sensitive and clear book, it was really successful in reading it with children. I would suggest using props and puppets.
I love books about children with LGBTQ parents. This book gave me warm fuzzy feelings. I like the story better than the illustrations but it's really not bad.
This is an adorable picture book about a boy with two mothers. His friends "ask who does..." and he answers. I like this one even more than "A Tale of Tow Daddies".
The story is good. Not much children books that shows queer parents. I really appreciate it. Thank you Netgalley
Thank you for the opportunity! I love to bring books with diverse families and experiences into my counseling office and this book would perfectly fit that description. Being able to share and show students how families and people can be different and have different experiences then them help to borden their perspectives as well and support empathy development.

It's good to show kids just because you have two mom's doesn't mean you miss out on "dad stuff". A second mom can still fix things that break, take you fishing, and coach your t-ball team. The book helps take away gender from activities. It would have been less repetitive if the book discussed why someone can have two moms. I didn't like the art style and there wasn't much of a story. In conclusion, a simple book that lacked a deeper meaning and more details.
First and foremost, I would love to thank NetGalley, the author, and publishers for allowing me the opportunity to read this advanced copy. This book has so many moral values. Recommended
I love that there are many books now represent more diverse families. Diversity is such an important thing for children to learn and embrace as no two families are the same! I would recommend this book to everyone. It is important that we also work towards breaking stereotypes in general. This is a great book that’s covers a lot of good topics to start discussions with children. I think more books like these should be read in the classroom
