Ms. Liaisson is a very talented writer whose gifts at developing characters and plots are undisputed! This story really touches your heart as it deals with love lost, tragedy, unrequited love and ultimately, love regained - all happening to very likeable characters. It is heartwarming and leaves you repleted with a warm fuzzy feeling. I received an ARC of the book and have voluntarily chosen to write this review. I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed the book and can heartily recommend it.
Well, this was lovely.
We have Kaitlyn and Rafe, they’ve known each other for years and have a beautiful friendship… until she gets pregnant, and things turn difficult, lol.
I loved both of these guys, they were committed to their families and friends, and now to this new baby. They weren’t quite sure where they were with each other, except parents now, but it was obvious they had deeper feelings than they let on.
It was fun to read them trying to figure out if they were a couple, how to handle the baby news, and aside all the quirks of a small town where everybody knows your business, lol.
This was super lovely, in a super lovely small town.
P.S: Loved the covers in this series, btw.
*Thank you to the author for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*
This is such an adorable book. I loved getting to know the characters. Excellent world building and wonderful sweet plot. Miranda Liasson is a delightful writer and I look forward to going into her back catalogue.
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU is such a delightful romance that pulled me in and kept me flipping pages until the ending. I wish I had read the first two stories in this series (trilogy?) first but I hadn’t and there simply wasn’t enough time to do that before this review was due. I will be going back to the beginning, not because I feel I have to but because I want to know the full stories of what went on before Rafe and Kaitlyn’s story.
Sometimes the “obvious to everyone else” perfect partner is right in front of you – for years of friendship. And that is how Rafe and Kaitlyn began, yes, she’d had a crush on him but knowing of his history she knew it would not go anywhere. There she was wrong as one night proved just how perfect they are together – with unexpected results. Now they’re planning a sort of fake engagement, living together due to odd circumstances, getting tons of (unwanted) help from family, friends and the quirky residents of Angel Falls, and discovering that friends-to-lovers-to-parents might not have been the ideal way to fall deeply in love but it’s working out that way for them. Now they simply have to get out of their own way, tear down some of Rafe’s walls and trust in a future that can be everything they’d wish for – if they’re willing to risk their hearts.
I had such a good time with these characters and their love story. If you love a really believable romance with likable characters, a touch of drama, quirky townsfolk and family that is always there for you – then I believe you’d love ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU. I’d not hesitate to recommend this one, and I’m heading to one-click on a couple of titles now to get caught up. Buying the previous books when it’s not necessary is probably a high compliment to the author that I’m invested in their world – the truth is, I loved these folks and now want to know it all.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
What a great Christmas Miracle Love Story!!
Kaitlyn has had a crush on Rafe since she was a kid. Good things happen at weddings! Smokin hot chemistry and a black out later you have a night they will never forget. They are good friends and they can’t seem to get back to what they were before the wedding.
Rage is a ruff around the edges firefighter who has a heartbreaking past. Kaitlyn is a fun loving best friend to Rafes sisters and coffee shop owner.
When Rafe let’s his walls down Kaitlyn can see a future together but can she show him enough love to keep them down? Rafe is afraid to loss it all again. Kaitlyn has always been independent and when times get hard she shuts everyone out. Overcoming their pasts and loving support.
This book is funny, loving and a HEA that will make your heart sing. This is the third book in the series.

Favorite Quotes:
No wonder you two are… um, expecting. That is some positively ferocious chemistry! Lordie, pass me a fan!
Such a hardworking, practical woman, who gets up at four-thirty every morning to open her grandpa’s café. Yet she wears the most filmy, lacy underwear with a tiny satin bow. That is the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.
My Review:
Start with a surprise pregnancy and add in a troubled and sticky-fingered relative, a sexy yet traumatized and apprehensive baby-daddy, a crafty grandmother, a playful rescued puppy, and a missing recipe needed for a competition and coffee shop owner Kaitlyn’s cup is overflowing, and she can’t even drink the coffee. I have enjoyed every installment of the Angel Falls series, and adore the Langdon’s tight-knit and loving family. The characters are responsible, thoughtful, and likable human beings who are realistically flawed and a bit frayed around the edges yet hard-working, kind, and lovable. Kaitlyn and Rafe’s storylines were well-balanced overall as they swung between angsty inner turmoil and a tender sweet and steamy romance. Ms. Liasson’s writing style is easy to fall into and follow, yet is craftily paced with expert storytelling and emotive word choices that hit and hold the perfect emotional tones between well-placed bursts of levity and a gentle and caring romance that squeezes all the feels.
This was such an indulgent, delicious read - a friendship loaded with chemistry turns into a night with consequences. It was heartwarming, had a bit of heat, and was sugary sweet in its Christmas setting. The secondary plotline held my attention. Overall a great almost naughty, definitely nice read. Family, friendships, and a sweet love story - what's not to love?
This book is a small town family filled friends-to-lovers romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Kaitlyn and Rafe have been best friends for years and while Kaitlin would like to take the next step in their relationship, Rafe refuses to let his frozen heart commit to anything more than being besties. Little does he know that his big Italian family, especially his grandmother, is bound and determined to push them closer together during their pre-holiday traditions to play not-always-subtle matchmaking elves. I’m in romance heaven when an author writes a compelling storyline with characters whose story takes me through a myriad of emotions and Ms. Liasson’s books always deliver. I loved this delightful story, and the othr books in the Angel Falls series, because reading it made me feel like I was wrapped up in a fleecy blanket and the snow was already falling outside my window. I’m more than ready to read more holiday books and to celebrate the upcoming Christmas season. I read an early copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.
The book picks up after the last when a wedding took place. Kaitlyn and Rafe who spent the night together and both being over the top with the night. Are now not talking to each other. She is also looking for her grandfather’s cookie recipe for a contest that she wants to enter and she feels that recipe would be a winner. She is also dealing with her niece who is still having issues with shoplifting and she is looking for anything to help her. She does have her start working at the coffee store and she also finds a tutor for her in math. Rafe, on the other hand, had been acting weird since the wedding. Now when Kaitlyn news to tell him and his family after the announcement his Nonna wants them to get married and so they become engaged. The thing that no one knows is that it is fake. As much as Rafe wants to he just can’t get over his past, so Kaitlyn leaves and moves back to her apartment. Now she is working towards the bake-off, her niece is doing better and for Rafe, she can only have dreams of what it could have been. Read this wonderful story to see how it ends and about her cookie recipe contest. A very good story with really good characters from the other books, really likes Nonna.
I was provided with an ARC of this title by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I am a fiend for Christmas. Give me all of the Hallmark movies, ice skating under the moonlight, homemade sugar cookies and fireplace snuggles that can be dished out. This book satisfied all of my cravings for happily ever afters.
Kaitlyn has harbored feelings for Rafe since middle school. She always dreamed of kissing him, but he was kinda off limits because he was the brother of her best friend.
Then they became best friends, and a wedding reception and an open bar led to an unforgettable night. Now they have to move forward, but they're avoiding each other.
You'll love this slow burn Christmas romance.
Writing this review is a bit hard, because with All I Want for Christmas is You, author Miranda Liasson is bringing an end to the delightful Angel Falls series.
At their friends wedding weeks before, Kaitlyn Barnes became pregnant with Rafe Langdon's baby. Best friends for years, Kaitlyn has no idea how to deliver the news to Rafe. As much as Kaitlyn loves and respects Rafe, she knows that he is not willing to settle down, now or ever. Yet, this is a secret that she cannot keep for long. Not from Rafe, and not from her friends.
Meanwhile, Rafe cannot stop thinking of that night. Despite his protests of being far too drunk to remember, there is not one second he forgot. However, Rafe suffered a tragic loss years before and absolutely refuses to give more than a moment's thought to accept that he has strong feelings for Kaitlyn. When he does hear the news, he is determined to do the right thing. The question is whether or not the hole in his heart is too big to be mended.
I love the Angel Falls series, and appreciate the conflict and love how it was resolved. The story had a wonderful conclusion as did the series. I have already reviewed the previous two stories in the series and the links are below.
Many thanks to Forever for this ARC for review in exchange for my honest opinion.
What more could you want from a read....Christmas, a good cookie recipe, a cute puppy, a love legend and a damn good story that will have your heart melting and your emotions being tugged all over the place. Rafe or Raphael to his family, lost the one he loved and the child he would never see in a car accident. Not wanting to love again or lose anyone else, Rafe keeps himself to himself and hopes it’s enough for his life at least. Kaitlyn is loving working in her grandfathers shop, The Bean, that she reopened after his death. Loving making the cakes and coffee for the residents of Angel falls. One night was all it took before a long friendship was on the brink of being no more.
As we read the book we find two best friends who had one night whilst at a friends wedding trying to tackle their feelings and emotions as Rafe’s Nonna starts her matchmaking skills on them. A surprise baby kicks up feeling of insecurity and from this onwards I was so heartbroken at what they were going through and I wanted to shout “just talk” to them. I loved Nonna with her feigned illness to get them to see what they could have although my heart was in my mouth when Kaitlyn had to go to hospital and Rafe started to pull away. Yet another reason why I love Miranda’s books so much because even in just a short time she has managed to pull you into the story like a ghost observing what is going on with no way of talking to the characters. She manages to rip your heart out put it into a blender and rearranges it just so you know how the characters are feeling. With being best friends and that being on the line.......will Rafe let go of the past and have the HEA and future he truly deserves. Well done on an awesome read.
Rafe and Kaitlyn are best friends, at least until a new night of too much alcohol leads to a night of romance.
Rafe and Kaitlyn have good chemistry. Kaitlyn is on a search for perfect recipe to enter a baking contest. Great vast of characters.
If you like a good friends to lovers romances your going to want to get your hands on this even better that its a holiday edition. I'm on a mission to come across as many holiday romance books and this book defiantly fit the bill. Now with Halloween over its socially acceptable for me to talk about the holiday books I've been reading. Back to this book I really enjoyed it, I enjoyed seeing the meddling family members and small town gossip. When things are said and done things sure spread fast in this book and it amped up the drama. I enjoyed seeing the romance between the two, they were friends but it was getting complicated and all with the baby, house and dog and many other little things. Overall this was a pretty great book, and great for the holidays so be sure to pick this book up for yourself
After a wild night at a friend’s wedding, long time friends Rafe and Kaitlyn find themselves crossing the “friendship” line. After months of awkwardness and avoiding each other, they decide to put the past in the past. Knowing Rafe is a commitment phobe, Kaitlyn decides to move on with her life. When a surprise presents itself, Kaitlyn’s not sure she can walk away from a possible HEA...
This is Miranda Liasson’s third novel in the Angel Falls series. While you get updates on characters from the last two novels, you can read them in any order. This was by far, the most emotion evoking novel in the series. I cried for Rafe and the losses he suffered. I cried for Rafe’s inability to overcome his past. He was sooo lost! I sympathized with Kaitlyn and her drive to help, rescue EVERYONE. Kaitlyn has a heart of gold and is willing to put it out there to obtain her dreams. But she has family obligations, a life-long crush on a man who’s more friend than anything else, and now a pregnancy to adjust to. You can’t help but root for a HEA-especially once a puppy is added to the mix! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
I loved returning to Angel Falls and the Langdon family. I really liked this book about Kaitlyn Barnes and Rafe Langdon. From best friends to spending a night together their lives will forever be entwined.
Miranda Liasson wove a wonderful, Christmas story full of hope, heartache, love, and an unexpected pregnancy. This story touched my heart as Rafe has to face his past losses and heartache and decide if he can take down the walls surrounding his heart.
I enjoyed the banter between Rafe and Kaitlyn and I also enjoyed Rafe's grandmother, Nonna. She is quite a matchmaker and I liked the antics she would go to to try and get Rafe and Kaitlyn together.
The story also was about the importance of family and being there for each other in good times and bad times and through struggles. Throw in a fun, cookie contest and a cute puppy named Bandit and I could not put the Christmas story down. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
This was a super sweet, really entertaining, feel-good story that left me smiling and happy. I had so much fun reading it and enjoyed Rafe and Kaitlyn navigating their way through the ups and downs. It was a great story!
Kaitlyn and Rafe were awesome, I loved them and they stressed me out all rolled into one. I loved their chemistry and this battle they were fighting with their feelings in the middle of this surprise baby situation. There was a bit of tension, a lot of angst, yearning, and love. Some things were emotional, especially learning more about Rafe’s past, but mostly it was just entertaining and fun. There's some mild drama happening between them as they come together and fight their feelings and I couldn't wait for them to get to their HEA.
There's a nice cast of characters thanks to their family and the quirky townspeople. I felt it was a sweet, heartwarming read. Not super in-depth but just enough to keep you invested. It moved along well and I enjoyed reading it.
This was a wonderful addition to the Angel Falls series. Bottom line, it’s a light, entertaining read that will leave you with a smile on your face and your heart feeling full. There's some drama and ups and downs but it's not to taxing. When you want something sweet, then this will hit the spot!

All I Want for Christmas is book 3 in the Angel Falls series by Miranda Liasson and a great Christmas story about Rafe and Kaitlyn that’s filled with puppy love, laughter, healing past hurts, unplanned pregnancy, friends to lovers and so much more. Sometimes when you finally accept that you will always remain friends fate steps in and shows you that your heart really knows who and what it wants!
What an awesome series Angel Falls is!! Each book can be read as a standalone but reading in order gives a perfect lead in of all the characters involved and how they interconnect.
Laughter may be the best medicine, but a few teardrops are good for cleansing the soul. Liasson basks in the sunshine while sprinkling in some rain. All I Want For Christmas is You presents the best of both worlds. Rafe and Kaitlyn take on the what ifs moments with a pure dash of heart and a handful of pain. Will heartache lead to a second chance or will pride spell the end for two battered hearts? Emotion takes on humor with a spellbinding kind of irresistible.
All I Want for Christmas is You is a wonderful Christmas read. I really enjoyed Kaitlyn and Rafe's friends-to-lovers romance. The banter between them was entertaining and I liked Rafe's family, especially Nonna.
