After reading NBT I thought Wade and Cecilia were the typecast for Andrews’s characters in the series. But really, they so aren’t!

Suzanne St. Michelle is such an awesome MC, she really owns the story. Suzanne arrives in Credence to reconnect with her muse. She does art forgery, the legal, commissioned kind, and she’s very good at it. But she wants to be a true artist and create her own art, not copy it. Winona, her erotic romance writer friend (arrived in Credence in NBT) invites her to Credence and she’s immediately struck by her temporary landlord.

Joshua Grady is a Loner. He doesn’t want his life interfered, but when his uncle takes on a temporary resident for the ranch’s cottage, he has no choice but to share his land with Suzanne. All seems fine, until a few days later Grady finds himself entangles in Suzanne’s plot to get her parents reconciled during their Christmas break visit to Credence.

Breaking down Grady’s walls isn’t something Suzanne is planning on doing, but it happens, only Grady figures it out when it’s almost too late.

I loved Suzanne. Giving her all in playing the part of the over-the-top-Christmas lover and being so in love with Grady convinced everyone around her and got Grady to reluctantly become fond of the scene himself.

I really enjoyed this one, probably a little more than I did Nothing But Trouble.

This book was not for me. That being said I had the hardest time getting into this book it just seemed to be lacking something, I really can't put my finger on it for the first 6-8 chapters. After that the book does slowly pick up and the story line is cute, but too me it just seemed like something was still missing the characters and situations seemed forced. There was so many curse words in this book you would have thought one of the main characters would have had to be a sailor or something. There is also a lot of adult language and sex so this book may not be suitable for all.

This book was a fun read and a delight to me as a break from some of the heavier titles I have been reading lately.
The story is a Christmas romance story about a young artist who escapes New York and goes to Credance, Colorado in hopes of finding her muse and getting her painting ability to come back. She rents a cottage on a ranch and meets the nephew of the owner. Joshua does not want to deal with her. The romance is really funny as she tells her parents that she cannot be home for Christmas because she has a new boyfriend who loves Christmas and goes all out for it. Of course her parents decide to join her for the holiday to meet the new boyfriend and Suzanne has to convince Joshua to pretend that they are in love. It is a fun book with lots of sizzle and great characters. I had never read a book by this author but will in the future.

I loved this book! Joshua Grady has shut down his emotions after the deaths of his parents and first girlfriend when he seventeen. He is now 34, has served three tour in the army, and is running his uncle’s ranch In Credence Colorado. He likes his solitude, so he is not thrilled when his Uncle rented out the cabin on his property to Suzanne St Michelle. Suzanne is an artist from New York who wants to find her muse and also celebrate a real Christmas for once in her life. Suzanne is very emotional and has verbal diarrhea , the opposite of the stoic Grady, who barely speaks for days on end. Of course, Suzanne lies to her mother that Grady is her boyfriend and her parents decide to visit and they have to do the whole fake relationship thing. This is a delightful story. I loved both of these characters, and rooted for them to finally get together. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Suzanne is trying to inspire her creative muse and rents a cabin in picturesque Credence, unfortunately rancher Grady is not happy that it’s his cabin she’s using. Once she sets eyes on the strong, silent , and slightly grumpy her muse is inspired, but only by him. Along the way the trade barbs at each other as he’s not amused to be the star of all her art. Unfortunately Suzanne’s hoity- toity Mom wants to spend Christmas with Suzanne but she wants to experience a “real” Christmas and makes up a story that she can’t leave because her new love (Grady) loves. The holiday soo much (aka not at all due to old family loss), so her parents come to Credence. Bring on the funny, and sometimes over the top craziness between the couple as they try to keep up their lies. This was a hilarious romance story with a lot of romantic tension and a little bit of hot bedroom time. It is book two in the series but you don’t have to read the first one to enjoy. Also highly recommend for those that love to get a “little” over the top with holiday spirit. 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. The Trouble with Christmas was a heartfelt story. Grady controlled and meticulous. He's stuck in the past and isn't willing to bend heading towards his future. Suzanne is carefree but. longing for happier times.
I liked the frenemy banter that this pair had in the beginning. They were funny without being mean it hurtful.
The story lost me a bit in the middle. The main plot didn't have much drama and seemed to stay in a loop.
It closes their loop nicely in the end but these two took a long road to get there

OMG, this book is soooooo good! It's laugh out loud funny and has a bit of snark. I just loved the story and, while I've long been a fan of the author, think this is her best book yet. She perfectly captured a Christmas tale that is so good it can, and should, be read any time of year. I loved the characters, from the artistic Suzanne and the gruff Grady, to the oh so proper Simone.

This book is just a delight to read. It was so yummy that I slowed my reading pace down so that I could savor and thoroughly enjoy it. As satisfying as the ending was, I was sorry when I reached the last page and ran out of book to read.

Put this one at the top of your TBR list as this is a must read. Better yet, pre order it so you can read just as soon as possible. The author is on my must read authors' list and, if you enjoy the genre, should be on your must read list as well. If I could give this novel more than five stars, I would.
