I’m afraid I am defeated by this one, I loved early Chute and still admire her writing. But I just couldn’t find my way into this novel. The author may love a list of characters, but I don’t, and especially when reading on a Kindle. Help. Lost.

I didn’t realize when I requested this novel that it was the third book in a series. It would have been helpful to have read the first two. I put this one down until I may go back and catch up then try again.
