Strong Series Conclusion

This was an outstanding conclusion to Lynda La Plante’s three book series. Not only was this a great read and difficult to put down, but I loved the unexpected twist at the end.

Tension Fuelled…
Dolly Rawlins has been set free after a long sentence for the murder of her husband. She only has one thing on her mind, one thing pushing her forwards. The diamonds. But, there are also other things waiting for Dolly’s release, things that she doesn’t expect. Tension fuelled thriller with an intriguing premise but which falls slightly far from the usual mark.

*Received for free from netgalley for honest review* It's been a little while since i read the book prior to this but the recap was helpful lol actually didnt see that end coming but it was pretty good

This book is the sequel to the amazing Widows. Dolly Rawlings leaves prison set on finding the six million in diamonds she hid before going to prison. She gets together with a group of women who served time with her. They are all eager for a cut of the six million pounds. This book is quite violent as you would expect from Dolly, but a very good read.

After serving a lengthy sentence for the murder of her husband, Dolly Rawlins is free from prison. And she’s only got one thing on her mind: the diamonds she stashed before the police caught her.
But there are people waiting for Dolly on the outside - tough ex-prisoners who know about the diamonds, and they all want a cut.
Also waiting for Dolly is DS Mike Withey. He holds her personally responsible for the death of his sister in the diamond raid ten years earlier. And he wants her back inside.
Dolly Rawlins has other plans. But can she realise the dream that kept her going all those years in prison and avoid those who are after her?
A bit slow paced and there were a couple of times that I had hard times getting into the story but overall good read.

She's Out was another great read by Lynda La Plante. Dolly Rawlins has been serving a lengthy sentence for the murder of her husband. She is now free from prison and now just wants to find the diamonds that she stashed before the police found her. There are tough ex-prisoners who know about the diamonds and want their cut of them. DS Mike Withey holds Dolly responsible for his sisters death during the diamond raid. He wants her back in prison badly. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Lynda La Plante is one of my favourite authors and this book does not disappoint.. All the old characters but seen in a different light. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend it.
My thanks to Lynda La Plante, Bonnier Zaffre and Netgalley.

What can I say about Lynda La Plante. She never disappoints. I was hooked on the Widows series when it first hit the TV screens, and she just gets better with every new release. Recommended Lynda at her best.

Always love a Lynda LaPlante book :) This one is no exception....full of intrigue and mystery and language!! Loved it :)

Thank you for the ecopy of this book. I will be posting a full review on Goodreads, Amazon, and Instagram! Many thanks.

I enjoyed reading this book, it had what I wanted from a mystery novel and I thoroughly enjoyed going on this journey in the book.

Lynda La Plante is my favourite author and I have loved every book of hers I have read (almost every single one!). She's Out is no exception! The conclusion to the Dolly Rawlins Trilogy was the most exciting book yet. I recommend reading these books in order to get the full impact of the story. Dolly is a hard woman but you can't help hoping she succeeds. Now I'm on to the new DC Jack Warr series. With thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for my digital copy.

She's Out is my first book by prolific writer Lynda La Plante (the brilliant TV series, Prime Suspect - The Tennison series, is from this author). Even though this is the last book in the Widows trilogy featuring Dolly Rawlins, I'm really pleased I decided to take a chance with it.
A bunch of female ex convicts, all with their own stories to tell, try to swindle the lead protagonist out of her hidden diamond fortune, then find themselves working with her to negotiate their hugest heist yet. The reader is rewarded with glimpses of their benevolence en route, as they discover how to trust again. Even though She's Out is book three in the series and I have yet to read the previous two books, Widows and Widows 2, I still really enjoyed it as the plot was wonderfully executed with its swift pacing. Complete with its cracking denouement, a thrilling jaw-dropper, this was an all round marvellous read, if a little dated.
I received a complimentary digital copy of this novel at my request from Zaffre via NetGalley and this review is my unbiased opinion.

Another great Dolly Rawlins instalment from Lynda La Plante. I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced, well written and kept me guessing, The pressure from the other ex-cons trying to secure their share of the wealth adds considerably to the story and the ending was just great. I highly recommend this read!!

Dolly Rawlins is out! After serving time in prison for the murder if her husband, she is quickly reunited with ex cons she was in prison with. After a failed attempt to collect the diamonds she stashed before her arrest, Dolly comes up with a better plan to make millions. Together they work as a team to attempt to pull off the robbery of the century.. Such loveable characters and explosive storyline this is Lynda La Plant at her best. I didn't want this book to end.

Loved this book
Dolly and the crew never fail to make me gasp and laugh
Please read this you won't be disappointed

This is the third book in the Widows series and my least favorite. Dolly is out of jail having done time for murdering her husband. Prior to her incarceration, she hid a cache of diamonds which she and several other characters want to retrieve. There are many, many characters in this book and they muddle the story line. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily offering my review.

Wow what a fun thriller ! This is the third book in The Widows series written by Lynda La Plante. I had only read the first in series but I was easily able to keep up with the charcters and the story. This is the story of Dolly who has just been released from prison for her husband's murder. She has a cache of diamonds hidden and she intends to pick them up and start her life over. However she is being hunted by other's who also want the diamonds.
This is a fun end to the trilogy and a fun read that kept me turning pages. This was a well developed plot, exciting twist and turns with interesting charcters. Well done to the author.
My review opinion is my own. Thank you to Net Galley and to the Publisher.

The final book in the Widow trilogy so well written. Each character drew me in kept me racing through the pages.Highly recommend this and any of the authors books,#netgalley#bonniezaffireusa

A good and well written mystery thriller
Although this is the final book in the series it didn't feel like I missed anything. The action was fast paced and I like the strong kick ass woman! There's also different layers to the characters that makes it very enjoyable.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was the many characters and you had to concentrate not to get confused.
Otherwise a brilliant read .
