A book that has two people meeting again in the town they grew up in. Finn left and is a race car driver, and is home because of an accident and injury. Lancey was in the military but is now home for good. They meet at the local bar and decide to hook up and just keep it casual, for Finn wants to go back to racing. When he finds out he can’t race anymore is he going to be able to stay in town and is that something Lancey wants as well? A good book with good characters.

What a cute story this was!
Finn and Lancey have known each other from growing up. Both are back in Last Stand Texas. Lancey for good, to help take care of her nephew, who is also Finn’s nephew.
Finn and Lancey see each other again at a bar in town, his family's bar, and they hit things off.
They decide to have a one night stand, and Finn had to leave to go back to the racing circuit.
Lancey needs to keep her head clear to take care of Lane.
Finn tries to go back to racing, but a medical situation leaves him watching from the sidelines.
Can he race again? Does he let Lancey in on what is happening?
Can they make things work with Lane, and him racing?
Does Finn know what to do without racing?

I am a huge fan of this author! I have read quite a few if her books/series and I absolutely love her writing. They are always fun romance stories. This book is a quick read if you are looking for a quick captivating story!

I did not realize this was part of a series, so I missed the first book in it but it did not diminish my reading experience. Finn and Lancey are both a little lost following tragedy and life changes; but they find each other when they need to the most. It was a nice story although it felt rushed. It seemed like there was definitely an undercurrent of an anger management disorder that needed more addressing and professional help than was mentioned here. And the love aspect seemed very hurried. Still, it was enjoyable and fun.

A quick sweet read from Katherine Garbera. Great characters and an engaging plot, Full Texas Throttle will keep you entertained from start to finish.

I received this arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is the second book in the Dangerous Delaneys series. I have read both books and loved them. This is a Last Stand Texas Book about the 3 Delaney brothers. We learned in book 1 that during the big birthday party, a truck crashed into the tour bus and Rose, the Delaney sister died along with T.J. Maverick, her baby daddy. The Delaneys are know as outlaws due to their past relatives history. Book 2 is about Finn Delaney and Lacey Maverick. All of Rose’s brothers and TJ’s site share custody of their son Lane, but he lives with Lancey.

Lancey has left the military to return to Last Stand to care for her nephew. Finn is a nascar driver that has learned he has a serious condition with a blood clot in his leg. He has been pulled from his schedule. The two meet at the local saloon and end up having a one night stand. Neither is happy as they felt they wanted more. Neither character wants to remain in Last Stand blue diuemto their circumstances it appears to be fate.

Lancey thought of her female ancestors as being left behind and she wants more. She realizes she wants the husband and kids in addition to Lane. She spends time with Finn and realizes she loves him. Finn resists getting involved or tied down and didn’t want to stay in Last Stand until he spends time with Lancey and realizes that his racing career is over. He too realizes he loves Lancey.

I enjoyed watching the characters grow and mature and also adapt to the changes they face. Such a great book. I look forward to the third book and already am guessing who Bray will end up with.

Someone is messing with Ethan and his family is worried. They hire the best to protect him without his knowledge. Her cover is suppose to be his new restaurant manager. Pascale has protected royalty, but never a man she once loved. Being a professional and all, she's got this. When Ethan meets his new manager he can't believe his eyes. The one woman who broke his heart is literally standing in front of him and now working for him. What does this mean? A second chance? Closure? Adventure? Good read.

Finn is all about living in the fast lane. Until an injury puts his feet firmly on the ground. Who is Finn Delaney? If he isn't a Nascar driver. Lancey is a milatary hero. Until her brother died in a car accident. Now she is living the civillan life looking after her nephew Lane. Both characters are dealing with the loss of a family member. Plus bringing up a grieving little boy. Life is about to get very complicated.
Full Texas Throttle is about coming home, new beginngs. Part of a series. Best read in order.
Recommended for fans of contemporary and small town romance.

Excellent book! This is Finn and Laney’s story and it is all about having to start a new career, parenting a nephew and trusting in love.

This the first book I’ve read in the Last Stand series by Katherine Garbera.

I enjoyed learning more about the main characters through each chapter and fell in love with them all.

This was a very easy read - short and sweet.

There are authors who make me see their characters as real people with true issues, heartbreak, and eventual recovery, Katherine Garbera is one of them (and frankly many of those authors write for Tule Publishing). My heart broke for so many characters when we started the connecting set of series that make up the Last Stand, Texas line. Now we’re beginning to see how some of the family members have been affected by that tragedy.

FULL TEXAS THROTTLE brings us two unique people who are both suffering a loss, are at loose ends because of that and other events in their lives. Nothing happens in a vacuum, so to see Lancey and Finn have to deal with far more than the loss of their sibling brings in the heartache factor. Neither is looking for that happy ever after that they do not believe in. But for the moment the sizzling attraction between them and one sweet little one is enough – but can they make that feeling last for a lifetime? That will take work, risk, trust, and love – finding that is the challenge. The attraction is the easy part, changing attitudes is the hard part.

I cried happy and sad tears throughout this story. Got annoyed a few times as well. But that’s what makes a really good story, one that makes me feel, allows me into a world that is realistic in every sense. I had a blast with FULL TEXAS THROTTLE and would not hesitate to recommend it or any story or series that is part of the overall Last Stand, Texas unique world. Your emotions will be fully engaged – and that my reading friend is a good thing.

I thought that this story was really good!

The characters were well developed and I thought that they worked really well togethers.

I did think that at times there was a little too much detail added in to the story which split the natural flow that the author had worked on but it was still a great read.

It is 4 stars from me for this one, I thought it was a thoroughly enjoyable story!

this was fun to read and now I need to read the first one - their fast track to a relationship and ready made family is something that is easy to relate to

I have read a few stories about race car drivers in the last few years and this is an outstanding story. You have Finn, who is cocky and a bit of a bad boy, but it is different when it comes to his nephew and our heroine. Great story.

I found this an enjoyable read. The characters were engaging, and the story line was okay, but it didn't grab me. There was numerous typos, it needs better editing.
So overall an average 3* read.

Emotionally thrilling, sexy, fun and engaging romantic adventure filled with fun charters, witty banter, hometown goodness and undeniable passion...... was a great read from beginning to end. Was a great read from beginning to end and perfect for a relaxing summer afternoon.

What can i say other than Katherine Garbrera has delivered another great story. Filled with wonderful characters and some very hot scenes. This is the second book in The Dangerous Delaneys series in Last Stand. This story is about Finn Delaney who is a NASCAR driver that has just been diagnosed with DVT. His career just might be over so he has come home to Last Stand. Lancey Maverick has just gotten out of the Marine corps and moved bact to Last Stand to care for her nephew. These two are lost with what happens next. Can they help each other to figure things out and fall in love too.

Again this is a good book and being a NASCAR fan it was fun to read. An I'm looking forward to book three. I was given a ARC by the publisher through NetGalley in return for my honest review.

Full Texas Throttle is a wonderful second addition to Katherine Garbera’s The Dangerous Delaneys series and grabs your attention from the very first page. A credible storyline, interesting characters development, great dialogue and just enough heat to keep everything real. A story of love and loss that’s sure to win your heart and make you want more. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series

Wanting a good romance this one filled that and then some. It was able to deliver me into their world with all the laughter and feel goods a romance does give.
Finn is one of the characters that will turn a head in here more than once regardless of his situation. Lancey is the one that can turn his head. Following these two in their story was a delight to do so. With them both also having questions we get the answers as this unfolds. Delightful full picture of both of them also that carries us through. The ending is one you can not argue with either.
