Rue is 'very gay', a flamboyant kind of gay, and one night he slept with a woman, you know...out of a curiosity. And BAM! The baby came.
He need Nanny/Manny to take care of his baby girl Angel, and desperately he came to Erik, his weirdo neighbor. And Erik is straight. Hmmm...interesting.
It's a slow burn love story, with a baby and a best friend in a middle.
Erik, from a weirdo and a geek, became everything to Rue.
Well, wrapped up very well, ended very well, and I need to read book 2 after this one.
