An absolute rollercoaster ride of emotions and a storyline that draws you in from the very first word. Ember Leigh’s story is a wonderful story of finding what you’ve always been looking for to provide the balance missing from your life.
Thank you NetGalley for the digital ARC. I am a big fan of Ember Leigh. This was part of a series and I must say it was my favorite. I wish it had gone on a little longer. It was fast paced and as always i loved the characters
In this book the fourth in the series. Levi is wanting to make a name for himself, but also wants to be in tabloids, and any other print, or pictures that will get his name and face out there to be seen. He meets Riley who is a photographer and though he is drawn to her she does not what to go out with him. She finally gives in and when she does, she sees a different side of him and also meets his brother.
When he starts getting his photos out in the tabloids it becomes a problem for her because of a past relationship and how she was treated. Now breaking it off he is at a loss and must work at finding a way back to her for his own sanity. Read this wonderful story and find out what happens. I really liked the brothers' character it added to this story.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Thank you NetGalley.
This series by Ember Leigh is fantastic. This is the fourth book in the series. The chemistry in this read is explosive.. the characters are amazing. the storyline is great. well worth the read.
This is a sport MMA love romance between Levi and Reily. This is one of my favorites genres to read but reading this book had me left unsatisfied. The plot is ok, predictable. I couldn't relate to the main characters, for me Reily was not enough developed, we know just the basics from her. But Levi is full-on developed and it is like seeing more than one character in one person. I am just glad that the ugly, manwhore money seeker had lost itself in the book and we see in the end kind, caring, loving brother and man.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
This book is a must read book with fantastic characters and a storyline to match I will definitely be recommending this book and will look forward to reading more
Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was disappointed with this romance novel. The writing was immature and simple. It lacked the sophistication of a truly entrancing romance. Levy and Riley are attracted to each other but both act coy and childish. Poorly written and unoriginal.
I do love a good MMA book and Breaking the Habit fits right in that catagory! I haven't read any other in this series but have added to my to be read pile! Can't wait for more!
Levi is a MMA fighter and is trying his best to get in the spotlight. Back in Chicago, he was always in trouble by getting into fights, being drunk and other wild shenanigans. Riley is a photographer and hates the rag magazines. She has decided that she’s through with men until Levi walks in. She is doing some work for her friend’s gym and they’ve just acquired Levi for the new MMA league. Levi has never worked so hard for a woman’s attention until now. He is full of dad jokes and energy. But when he gets involved with a PR man, will he lose Riley for good?
Awesome story with humor and action. Two people who never want to settle down until they meet.
* Voluntarily read and reviewed this for NetGalley *
What an amazing read! It has it all, emotionally heartfelt, enjoyable, fun and steamy scenes. An exciting storyline, I read from beginning to end in one sitting. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I would recommend it.
I wasn't sure if I would like this book. MMA fighting isn't really my thing. I have to say that Ember Leigh totally won me over to the dark side! Riley and Levi were so much fun that I hated for the book to end. The dad jokes, the love for his brother and the way he apologized to Riley, made Levi the perfect book boyfriend!
I read an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest opinion. #Netgalley #BreakingTheHabit
Disclaimer:I haven’t read any other books in the series
I enjoyed the storyline and thought it was a unique take on the MMA/boxer trope. I would have liked to see more of a development in when the Hero’s feelings changed to something more serious, but all in all a fun, low-angst read.
I've just been loving this series so far and I can't wait to read more!
Breaking the Habit is such a great addition to the series. I was hooked from the start, and couldn't put it down! I really, really loved this book and it was so fast paced and well written. This has got to be my favourite book in the series. I just wish it was a bit longer!
This is the fourth book in this series. Loved Levi and Riley's story. I just can't get enough of this MMA series.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance read, I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
This is the forth book in The Breaking Series, and the story of Levi, and Riley. Levi is a MMA fighter, looking to make it big in the industry, but when he meets Riley, and she is completely repelled by all the hype, he starts to have second thought about the fame. Levi isn't gonna give up on Riley, and set his sights on convincing her to give him a chance. Levi, is cocky, and Riley is sweet, and together they have hot chemistry, these characters are well written, and I really enjoyed reading this book. This is a must read!
Very good book. Loved all the pages!! It’s definitely a must read for anyone who likes romantic books.
This is the fourth book in the series.. We meet Levi he is up and coming and so sure of himself. He is the jokester of the group but plans on making it big so he tends to agree with anything that helps him do that. But Levi also is the caretaker for his crippled brother which is a lot of responsibility for him, but her loves him and will do what it takes but sometimes it does take is toll and Levi acts like twentish man that he is. He meets Riley and is captivated by her, but even though Riley is attracted to Levi she wants nothing to do with him since she had a bad experience with her ex and he was also famous and she does not want that in her life anymore. She gives in to Levi-of course she would, and as she thinks things are going good, the past starts creeping in and she did not think that Levi would do that to her.
Ember Leigh would be a new author for me. When I come across her title Breaking The Habit, which the synopsis made the book seem positively interesting, I vaulted at the chance to read the book. To my astonishment I appreciated Breaking The Habit, it was fast-paced, with likable characters.
I was astounded at how easy it was to descend into Ember Leigh's world about MMA fighters, without getting a little more history of the players. So, most certainly a stand-alone series. After reading this book, I will most certainly make it a point to read the other titles in this series.
Breaking the Habit is an exciting edition to Ember Leigh’s Breaking the Rules series and draws the reader in from the very first page. An all-encompassing storyline with explosive chemistry, heartfelt emotions and one heck of a rollercoaster ride throughout, it’s certainly an attention grabber. The author has penned an intense and riveting book, that has only cemented my love the series; basically, I can’t get enough!
