A Snowy Little Christmas by Fern Michaels, Tara Sheets, and Kate Clayborn
I just love a good Christmas romance, so when you give me three in one book, I’m thrilled! This is a short story anthology by three authors. In each one, the couple gets a gentle “nudge” from Mother Nature to stay in and get ALL of those feelings out.
Fern Michaels has never written anything I didn’t like yet and her streak continues. I would give her story about the lonely radio talk show host (who ironically dishes out relationship advice) a solid 4 out of 5 stars.
I am not too familiar with Tara Sheets but will have to look up more works by her. This story involved being stranded with the guy who has been your enemy for so long, that love takes you by surprise. I’d give this one a 3 out of 5 stars.
Lastly, Kate Clayborn tells us about the coworkers who absolutely love each other but continue to deny it as long as they can. When they get stuck at a client’s house due to the weather, they can’t run anymore. I gave this one a 3.5 out of 5, so round up to 4 as well.
If you enjoy a quick Christmas romance read, this collection is for you. Thanks so much to Netgalley and Zebra publishing for providing a copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
Always love a holiday read and with Fern Michaels you can't go wrong. I loved the characters and the stories.
3 cute Christmas stories that you’re sure to love if you’re into the “Christmas” genre! Novellas are t my usual cup of tea, but I really enjoyed sinking into the couch with a cup of tea and losing myself in these stories.
This was a sweet, Christmas, romance anthology made up of three different novellas. I really enjoyed the first two stories: Starry Night by Fern Michaels and Mistletoe and Mimosas by Tara Sheets. All three of the stories had a theme where people were snowed in at some point in the book. I found these stories a bit longer than the last anthology I read and for that reason, I was able to learn a bit more about the characters and their past. Each of them is a romance which ends in a happily ever after. Starry Night was set in a small town and involved a bookstore that was no longer viable and the new owner has to sell. I enjoyed the idea of having a Christmas party where the books were given away for a donation to the food bank or charity. Overall all three books were well written and involved a happily ever after. I found Missing Christmas hard to connect to for some reason, perhaps because I had not read the previous book with the same characters.
Overall rating: 3 stars
Starry Night by Fern Michaels: 2 stars - the writing didn't mesh with me. also is it me or did the story end abruptly?
Mistletoe and Mimosas by Tara Sheets: 3.5 stars - NOICE.
Missing Christmas by Kate Clayborn: 4.5 stars - JASPER!!!!! That's it, that's the review.
This is a perfect book for the holiday season, packed with Christmas love and cheer; Fern Michaels is a true master at writing such touching stories perfect for the holidays. I truly enjoyed reading this book because it upped my mood and spirits and helped me remember the reason and magic of the holiday season. I would highly recommend adding this book to your holiday reading list; it is like reading a Hallmark movie!
This was exactly what I needed right now! I'm super late to both read it and review it but as I don't have as much time now-a-days, I was waiting for the Christmas spark to finally hit me and alas, it did!
This is the perfect Hallmark book! There's three romantic stories all passed during Christmas written by three different authors. They are all different in ways but they all felt like the perfect Christmas movie to me. Christmas is my fav time of the year and these definitely made me feel all warm and toasty ready for a winter night!
The first story was perfect for me. It was a subtle romance with a bookstore setting and I couldn't be more in love.
There's something for everyone in here, three different romance stories - nemesis to lovers, business-partners to lovers and of course the "I just met you but holy mistletoe I think I love you" which I unexpectedly loved. There's also Christmas lovers, grinches, kitties (Who doesn't love a kitty, right?!) and all the cuteness you can think of.
It was just incredibly cute and the much needed happy jolly book I was craving for. Definitely getting this one to re-read during the holidays! Swoon!
Jessie's thirty fifth birthday is soon. Jessie has been single on the holidays for three years. Jessie use to model and now does scheduling for models. Jessie's uncle leaves her a book store. I couldn't connect with the characters
All three stories were charming and adorable, exactly as I was expecting them to be. In particular, I loved Kate Clayborn's and Tara Sheets' stories. They were lovely and perfect for Christmas!
STARRY NIGHT - 3.5 stars
MISTLETOE & MIMOSAS - 4 stars
MISSING CHRISTMAS - 4 stars
Romances that are set around Christmas time. I don't seem to enjoy this type of stories anymore but readers looking for romances to read during that season may enjoy this book comprising three stories by three different authors.
Content: Not entirely clean.
Thank you Netgalley and Kensington Books for the review copy. This is my honest review.

All opinions expressed are my own.
A sweet and festive collection of holiday tales from three of contemporary romance/women's fictions brightest stars, A SNOWY LITTLE CHRISTMAS is a perfect read for those wanting to inject a little Christmas magic into their day. Kate Clayborn's is a particular favorite, and a must-read for fans of her chance of a lifetime series.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher.
What a wonderful time Christmas is, it is even better when you can read 3 cute stories.
I enjoyed really these 3 stories about Christmas.
I love short story multiple author books for Christmas. They are perfect for busy days. This book has 3 stories by Fern Michaels, Tara Sheets and Kate Clayborn. The romance's are not all easy peasy, there is some conflict in each but it's a Christmas romance so you know there are happy endings. I have to admit that I was sure Fern Michaels would be my favorite but it wasn't. Tara Sheets is a new author to me and I enjoyed her novella. For all age readers. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Very sweet, A collection of novellas featuring Christmas stories. I requested this for Kate Clayborn's story as I adore her writing. This is a nice collection of Christmas stories, with varying levels of success.
The novella in particular by kate Clayborn, Anyone who has read her Chance of Lifetime series, specifically book 1, Beginner's Luck, will know Jasper. It's a fun way to reconnect with a character. Jasper and Kristen have great chemistry. I love the coworker angle, no power play going on here. The long-burning attraction is done really well, Clayborn does slow-burn brilliantly every time.
The other novellas, unfortunately, didn't click with me.
Three delightful stories that were quick and easy reads with engaging characters. Fern Michaels never disappoints, and I was delighted to read another story by Kate Clayborn as well as find a new-to-me author in Tara Sheets.
While the settings are all during Christmas, this would be a lovely read at any time of year!
I look forward to this anthology each year. This years edition A Snowy Little Christmas didnt disappoint. I liked each story and recommend this book to readers who love short stories
This is not the first anthology that I have read. Each of the stories were entertaining and different from one another. I enjoyed each of them. I have to admit that I enjoyed Fern Michaels short story the best. It seemed the most complete story. As with many anthologies, I feel that they just get you into the story and then they quickly wrap them up as they have to fit into the size of the book. If you are looking for quick holiday reads all three of these books fit the bill. If you are looking for a more intense story, then anthologies are not for you. At this time of year when it is busy and sometimes you can't delve into an intense book then this book is the answer for you. There was a fourth book in my copy that I received that was just a part of a book and this was not explained well at the start of the section. It just ended and as I didn't realize it wasn't a full book, it kind of put me off the book as a whole. Perhaps next time the published includes something like this, it could be made clearer that it was not a full book, then it would be the readers choice as to whether to read a sample or not.
I really liked these three short stories. They were a perfect way to wrap up the holiday season for me. Each of them had lovable characters and the plot lines were unique. All three wrapped up a tab bit too quickly and neatly, but that is probably to be expecting for Christmas short stories. I would definitely recommend this collection to others looking for a good, cozy holiday romance! Thank you to Zebra Books via NetGalley for a copy to review.
I enjoyed all three of these stories. Christmas is not Christmas without a Fern Michaels novells. The other two were icing on the cake. Very good read.
