Meh. Most of the stories were way to brief to get to know the characters and i did not like how it was written.

Will probably read all the stories at some point but at this time I have a lot of other romance material that I am more interested in reading at the moment. Never the less I am grateful that I was sent the advanced reader copy.

The beauty in this book is that each story is unique and stands alone. My favorite is Chantal and Asif. Trinity Blacio marries the multiple paranormal species into a tight knit family, giving us the love of two of the strongest, while introducing the danger that arises from the knitting, all in one quick story. It is interesting, intriguing and enjoyable. Jack and Lindsey are another favorite pair. Rachel Kenley brings the angst to a quick end giving us the satisfaction of seeing Lindsey grow and reach out for what she wants. Each story is quick and easy to read and makes this collection quite fun to read.

I enjoyed this anthology. Women who aren’t quite the norm finding true love. While I enjoyed all of the stories told my favorite two were Delicious Hearts by Lia Violet and Her Enchanted Curves by Trinity Blacio.
In Delicious Hearts by Lia Violet, Luna doesn’t think she is anything special. She is pretty average with extra curves. She doesn’t believe in mating but that change when she really sees Ian? Luna couldn’t see herself as others do but that may change if she allows herself to believe in Ian’s words. I thoroughly enjoyed her journey into acceptance as she finds love with Ian.
In Her Enchanted Curves by Trinity Blacio Chantal wanted normal but it doesn’t look like that it is possible for her. Tonight she just wants to make it though her latest blind date. And then she meets Asif . I enjoyed meeting Chantal and Asif. They are strong apart but will be stronger together. Too bad that completely steals Chantal's chance for normal. Can Asif give her a portion of her desires? This is a wonderful quick read from Ms. Blacio, It is a great beginning to a new world that I hope Ms. Blacio will return to in the future.

This collection of erotic short stories centers around the seductive curves of plus size women and the men--a wizard and a werewolf--that love them. The good thing about a collection of any sort is the buffet of authors that are featured and these were a delight to explore. I found myself giggling at times, blushing and pressing my thighs together often. My favorite story is Go for Broke by Barbra Campbell. It was funny and the steamy scenes were perfect. That foreplay had me taking deep breaths to collect myself. The Way You Look Tonight by Anna Fondant was another story that I enjoyed aside from the drama that seemed unnecessary. Because the heroine can't be the only one to mess up, can she? Lastly, the ending of Delicious Hearts by Lia Violet felt rushed and useless. The story could have ended beautifully with the minor exchange between the two lovers. No collection is perfect but this one was solid and I would definitely read a second volume. Maybe this time the women start out confident in their curves, feel sexy and beautiful because it's the truth and not because a man says she is, then makes love to her to convince her of that truth.

A quick read that you can easily grab and read in intervals when you've got a moment. Some of the stories are better than others, but I think I am more into Novels then a short story. Definitely Reunion By Raisa Greywood (last story) was my favourite and an author that I will look for other books from. Thanks for my ARCf from NetGalley.

A book with nine stories some good and some I felt left you wanting for more as in the story to continue. Of course, as in all of these types of books, there are always going to be one or two that are people’s things and you can skip over them. For the most part, each author does try to do some character building though it is small. I did like the last story in the book about a high school reunion the two main characters seemed real as well as her parents. That also felt as if it could have gone on longer for a more in-depth store. So overall not a bad book.

I follow Sarah Marks who recommended this book., Her story was about a modern day Lydia Bennet. I love the Lydia in this book. She was mature, focused and career-oriented. Of course, she has still the tendency to be distracted by a guy. (Spoiler) She did put him at an arm's length to favor her career. There was a HEA.
The other stories where all sweet though they seem a little cheesy romantic. Also the stories have mature/steamy scenes.

To me it is very dificult to review anthologies since there are many stories to choose from. Dangerous Curves Ahead is a very enjoyable collection of quick BBW romance stories. Currently I have been reading a lot of these romance books so when I saw this available on Netgalley I was really happy to be able to read it. However none of the stories really stood out to me, they were just quick reads, all similar and some longer than others, but at the time I did enjoy reading them. So I totally recommend this book to anyone who wants to start reading this genre as an introduction, it has a little bit of everything.

Thank You Netgalley for allowing me to read this book for an honest review.

I received a copy from NetGalley; this is my honest review. 3.55 stars

-Open to Negotiation **** Cute, reasonably believable story
-The Way You Look Tonight **** Most of the story is in bed. I really liked how they first met, then met again later.
-Come to Me *** No chemistry, no fun together, no dating. Many pages of open door bedroom.
-Her Enchanted Curves *** No chemistry, no love, no sweet things. They were bonded and that was that. He's a wizard, she's part wolf/vampire/witch. I was mostly lost as I didn't understand what was going on, like I was missing some chapters.
-The Beautiful Move in Curves *** Polyamorous, cougar, threesome. Most of the story is in bed but you feel like you're missing something.
-Delicious Hearts **** Fun and interesting. Wolf shifters.
-Go for Broke ***** Fun and sexy; at least there's a story.
-Rock and Cinnamon *** I'm ambivalent on this one. A rock star sleeping with a groupie and assures her it's love? Not too sure.
-Reunion *** I hate HS reunions: the immatures will always stay immature. Watch out for them! They are cruel.

Like most anthologies, this was a mixed bag in quality but conceptually all the stories were entertaining. The two urban fantasy stories had the most unrealized potential and were possibly the roughest with regards to writing but I would very much like to see them in longer works. The best by traditional standards were probably the first and last stories, but nothing in this collection was truly bad. I'm a huge (pun intended) fan of the premise of this collection, a subset of romance I lovingly call "Fat chicks need love too, and I look forward to seeing more of these stories from these authors or this publisher.

Open to Negotiation by Sara Marks
Lydia is a fun heroine who’s been burned before and is reluctant to let hot Marcus into her life for more than one night.
Marcus is determined to have Lydia in his life and goes about it in a sneaky way. Wasn’t a fan of his sister though.
I enjoyed this first-person POV because it read like Lydia was talking to you, she is funny and not obsessed with her size in a negative way.

The Way You Look Tonight by Anna Fondant
A quick, fun read about two ships passing in the night, or so Melissa thinks. The writing was a little on the passive side, for me, but the pace moved well, and the descriptions were great.

Come to Me by Rachel Kenley
This short didn’t resonate with me. It seemed weird that these characters got together, and I feel like we missed something with the time jump to year into their future. Lindsay fell victim to the bigger girl without confidence trope, which is disappointing in a book with the potential to be a great example of body positivity.

Her Enchanted Curves Tonight by Trinity Blacio
I felt like I was missing a bigger piece of a puzzle, like to understand this, I needed to have prior knowledge of the universe these characters lived in. Chantal seems like an interesting character, but I didn’t connect with Asif.

The Beautiful Move In Curves by Elizabeth Black
Generally, I’m fine with the threesome/reverse-harem trope, but there was something about this story I didn’t connect with. Maybe it was because it was so short, with not a lot of room for backstory, I’m not sure, but I feel like the emotional connection was missing.

Delicious Hearts by Lia Violet
I felt like this had so much potential for more. Perhaps a heroine who wasn’t comparing herself to smaller women, a deeper mystery about the ‘villain’, more information on the shifter universe, mating rules, etc. It was quick, flirty and fun but lacked some oomph.

Go for Broke by Barbra Campbell
The beginning of this was great but it felt like it was just there to set up the sex scene. Zoe and Clayton; I wish this was a snippet of a larger novel for them. Their chemistry was great, and Zoe’s confidence was awesome.

Rock and Cinnamon Roll by Trevann Rogers
Who doesn’t want to have a hot night with a rock star? Cinnamon, an unfortunate name for a larger character and seemed a deliberate choice so jokes could be made, is another woe is me I’m fat no one will love me character who needs a hot fella to tell her she’s worthy. This is another one I could envision reading a longer novella or novel of, if Cinnamon’s confidence was fixed, the scene where she was shoved down by others was infuriating, especially when she didn’t stand up for herself.

Reunion by Raisa Greywood
Rachel, Rachel, Rachel. Rachel comes across as a very bitter woman. We’ve all been through high school and it sucked for most of us. But Rachel takes down her enemy well with a good confrontation and sassy retort.
But it really felt like she was the angry fat girl character with bridges to burn instead of taking the high road. She’s reluctant to believe Jake crushed on her in high school and he does come across very creepy with all the facts he knew about her, without ever talking to her in school.
Rachel puts forward a self-confident vibe, but it doesn’t show in her actions. Parts I loved, parts I didn’t.

My thoughts overall
I felt like this had the potential to be a great example of body positivity. The title “Dangerous Curves” made me think the heroines would be smart, sassy and bodacious with their Rubenesque bodies, but as a curvy woman, I was disappointed by the self-loathing stereotype most of these characters fell prey to.

Here's the thing, I really appreciate that there is a book of stories featuring ladies who are curvy. Who doesn't want more realistic characters in books like this? Unfortunately, I wish the book had more stories that were true to real life. Most felt like fantasy stories. I did enjoy the story about the class reunion...I guess I just prefer novels to short stories. This would be a great way to try new authors.

Unfortunately I found most of the stories not to my liking, Lia Violet and Sara Marks being the two authors who made a love story worth reading wouldn't allow me to recommend this anthology to friends, but I will be keeping an eye out for both authors in the future.

Review featured at www.books-n-kisses.com

2.75 Hearts I was going to rate all of the novellas separately but to be honest they all ran about the same number of stars so I changed my mind.

Mostly these are good. Some are a bit better than others and some are below average. What I did enjoy was each story did not wrap around some Barbie doll kind of girl. These are all “real” women who you could possibly know in real life.

The “romances” of all of these stories did do exactly what the synopsis said. It ran from sweet to sexy to hot. But all in all the stories were just an ok read.

I'm sorry to say I didn't enjoy this collection of novellas very much. they weren't bad just nothing special either.
-Open To Negotiation by Sera Mark: 2 stars I didn't enjoy the first person point of view narration. And the story was way too brief and I didn't much like it.
-The Way You Look Tonight by Anna Fondants: 2 stars It was just too da** short and it ended very abrubtly. And it also contains one of my most disliked tropes: lust and love at first sight.
-Come To Me by Rachel Kenley : 3 stars I loved the premise of thi story. It started great and I loved it at first but I didn't like the direction the story took. I was a little disappointed in the end.
-Her Enchanted Curves by Trinity Blacio: 1 star I liked this novella the least of them all. While reading it I had a feeling like I'm missing out on the story, like I should have already known about the setting, characters (from other books by this author maybe). Besides that it also feauters instalove which is a major pet peeve of mine. And on top of it all the story ended very abrubtly, the plot didn't get resolved at all (is there a part II maybe?).
-The Beautiful Move In Curves by Elizabeth Blach: 2 stars Polyamory is so not to my liking. It was a good story otherwise. I especially liked the heroine who was older then her "love" interests (love in quotation marks because it was all sex, no love).
-Delicious Hearts by Lia Violet: 3 stars This one was a shifter romance (werewolves). I liked it, but didn't love it. I wish it was longer.
-Go For Broke by Barbra Campbell: 2 stars It had an awesome opening scene (5 stars for that scene).. Too bad the rest of the story didn't really hold my attention. It was just a long sex scene. I didn't feel the love.
-Rock and Cinnamon Roll by Trevann Rogers: 2 stars Again, I didn't feel the love. The story wasn't developed enough. It all happend too quickly for my taste (the h/H meet one day, next day they're in love). Also, the rockstar hero came across as a creep.
-Reunion by Raisa Greywood: 4 stars This one was my favorite of them all. I really enjoyed it and was disappointed when it ended.
