Covert Vengeance is the second book in the Vengeance series, featuring Valkyrie hacker Amber Brown and our sexy hero Jesse Cordova. This was another great book in the series. I loved every minute of the action, and the romance between the two main leads. Kaylea Cross does a great job story building around the characters.

Sadly I can't read or review this one since the app I was using and it still had it on there has stopped working , and there's no way to get it to work.

This one was even more action packed than the first one. Amber and Jessie are hardcore all the way. Nothing they do half way. It is all our nothing. I always love visiting with all the previous characters. It keeps all of the different series fresh in my mind. Always thrilling, tons of hot and passionate scenes and action packed. I hope the third book comes out soon! Come is not only bad A, but crazy. I can't wait to find out who the hero will be!

Great series and I really enjoy Kaylea’s suspenseful series! A definite must read since the characters have such dynamic chemistry.

This is the second book in the Vengeance series by the Author and whilst it can be read as a standalone I would recommend reading the previous book first .

I haven't read the first book in this series, but it didn't affect my reading this book, as Covert Vengeance is set up as a standalone. It's a quick and entertaining read, but I wish I felt more for the characters.

Well damn, I enjoyed the hell out of this!
We all know I love a good kickass female lead and that was most definitely the case here, Amber being a Valkyrie.
I loved the plot, the execution, the sizzling tension between the leads.

I can't wait to read more of this series!

This is Amber and Jesse's story and picks up right after Stealing Vengeance. Amber is a master hacker and after realizing a mistake that she may have caused, she is out to set it right, Jesse is hired to track down Amber and when the two meet, the chemistry is hot. Filled with action, witty humor, members of the Valkyrie posse and their loved ones, makes for a terrific story. I totally enjoyed this one. An awesome read! 4.5 stars*****

As Amber looks for the rest of the Valkyries, Jesse's opt as a hitman is to eliminate the Valkyries, including Amber. But for Jesse, something doesn't feel right about his mission as he get close to her. Their story is action packed and filled with suspense as their romance builds while they work together to complete Amber's mission. Fast paced with details that explain the mission for those like me that started with book 2 of the series, I felt that Amber and Jesse's story was a book that can be read as a standalone. If this is your genre, then like me, you will want to read them all. Although I was gifted a copy of "Covert Vengeance", I also own a copy. 5 Stars!

Love this series even more with the addition of Amber & Jesse’s story. I find the premise of this series very interesting and well thought out. I found this book to be well written and action packed. I find the characters to be interesting, believable and well thought out. I look forward to the next book.

Really enjoying this series with the Valkyrie. Amber and Jesse have great chemistry. She's in danger and he will do anything to protect her. This is sn awesome story.

The idea of a covert group of female assassines, a bit of revenge and a small love story was something I thought would be right up my ally and I was not disappointed. Kaylea Cross is a new author to me before this book. This book can fit into many different categories, like action, mystery, and romance.

Amber Brown, a hacker/assassin was part of a group called Valkyrie before team members turned on her. She wants revenge for being wronged so badly and will stop at almost nothing to get it. Jesse Cordova, sexy hitman, come onto the scene is a big distraction for Amber.

The reader can almost see that this story could very much happen. In today's time. With the Middle East powers being in flux.

I felt pulled into Amber's story within the first couple chapters as you follow her trying to stay alive in such a dangerous place. The chemistry between her and Jesse was hard for me to believe at the beginning but I could see it by the end.

For me this was almost like watching a very good movie. Had lots of action with a bit of love story twisted into it.

Valkyrie hacker Amber Brown must right a wrong when Jesse Cordova crosses her path with his own agenda purpose. Hold onto your ereader as these two find common ground to fight together. Part of the Vengeance Series, this book 2 does not disappoint.

To be honest, I have to say I struggled to get through this book. While a fan of other books by Kaylea Cross, I simply didn't connect with the heroine, Amber. But I will admit this is the first book in this series that I've read so maybe that was more of the reason for my struggle.

Amber is determined to find the missing Valkyries and although her target didn't make it she finds another friend, a bounty hunt on her head and sexy Jesse who is determined to help her, have her back and make her his. Story with action, suspense and hot explosion between two strong characters. Both Jesse and Amber are likable and we see how their emotion evolves a the days go by. The story of finding other Valkyries is not over and there is be a lot to be seen.

Great read. Action, suspense, and unpredictable. Jesse and Amber may not seem like people that should have a happily ever after but they fight to find a way to do just that. Eager for the next installment of this series.

No matter how many books I read by Kaylea Cross, they just keep getting better and better! So many great things about this book. Kaylea is one of my very favorites. Don't miss this book!

Kaylea Cross has another hit in her hands! Covert Vengeance is full of suspense, romance, and sexy, page turning moments. You are going to love Amber and Jesse. The rest of the Valkeries help with the mission. I love Amber and Megan getting to know each other again. I can’t wait for the next book!!

A fantastic romantic suspense storyline with good solid characters. I really enjoyed Covert Vengeance and highly recommend it.
