When the school going Greta, gets up to speak about Climate change, global warming, greenhouse effect, and renewable energy. The world stops and listens. She brings about a revolution to save future generations.
The book is so detailed gives facts, talks about causes, consequences, and saving methods.
A must-read book to all the citizens of Earth! You want to save Earth and all in it, stop complaining and start saving.
As someone who's husband works in the field of climate science (and has done for over 30 years) the science of climate change has been relevant in my life for a long time and this book was a real treat in that it mentioned so much of the worldwide research and so many of the worldwide initiatives to help reverse the damage.
The book managed to explore a lot of issues in an accessible way, with a great glossary at the end, and also managed to make points without being too scary, preachy or didactic- no mean feat in this field.
My one niggles was with the tense used to talk about Greta - it made her seem like a very old person, a historical figure or at worse as someone no longer with us. This was a little jarring and I hope that the book isn't seen as being too late and shrugged off by people saying that there's no point in trying...
