Great workbook for working through panic from a CBT perspective. Would recommend to clients and therapists alike.
More Information than Workbook
This really isn't a workbook in the traditional sense, though there are worksheets and activities. The book seems more informational to me, discussing things like the difference between panic and anxiety and sharing CBT methods to help with panic. The main idea of the book seems to be checking in with yourself (the state of your body and mind) so you can understand your symptoms better in the hope that doing so will help you have fewer panic attacks. It also suggests an after-attack analysis if you do have a panic attack. It includes discussion on techniques like reframing and gradual introduction of what induces panic. I thought this book used elevated language that may prove to be a barrier for some people, using words that are usually seen in psychology books. If you suffer from panic attacks, this book might be helpful.
The Cognitive Behavioral Workbook for Panic Attacks by Elena Welsh, PhD is a useful little book that is a great tool for those looking to work through their anxiety, especially as it relates to panic attacks.
The books presents techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in practical terms so that those struggling with feelings of panic are better equipped to deal with them. There are a number of exercises that can be used to be better equipped with these feelings as they arise, as well as techniques that can be used in the midst of an attack.
While I was already familiar with CBT and many of the strategies discussed, I was still able to learn from this book and I think it would be helpful to those looking to actively work with addressing panic attacks and anxiety in their lives.

This is a great book. I didn't necessarily need it for myself but as I'm learning more about the body and how it works, this gives you some good pointers and steps to work through these types of attacks which can be scary and debilitating, depending on how often one has them.
This was a very helpful workbook. It literally was a step by step guide that helped you to manage panic/anxiety attacks. It helped a lot with how to do your thinking process to help you stay in control of your mind and body and not let the anxiety have that power.
