Review originally published in 2012 on www.bookshelfbombshells.com -- This book is really only meant for the hardcore GoT fans, because it's not a casual read. I can see this book as a helpful compendium for those who write GoT fanfic, because a lot of it deals with the underlying motivations of characters that aren't laid out in a straightforward manner in the book, which a compendium text has the luxury to do. Multiple viewpoints from multiple authors reveal elements of the books (and fine, okay, the TV series too) that might not have been overturned by the casual viewer because there's a lot of story in these stories, and the point at which the books diverge from the series can be confusing. This book helps demystify things.
