This is the first full length novel in the Love & Wine series by Claire Raye and is brilliantly crafted. The story. The characters. The setting. It all comes together to form this laugh-out-loud, emotional, steamy good time. Claire Raye captures an instant chemistry between Jack and Lauren, whose good-natured, back and forth verbal foreplay is witty, smart, and hilarious. The Vineyard and Raye's ability to descriptively set the scene adds a unique element to the narrative, almost as if she has created a whole other character in the setting itself. Absolutely love this book. 5 stars!
