I had a hard time with this book, it was just not as enjoyable as i had hoped it would be. First it was the timejump that felt odd and out of place, and then it felt like it tried too hard to be funny, and i was not enjoying the writing either.
“Rekindled Prophecy” by KC Freeman.
The genre, cover art and blurb was a draw for me. The storyline was interesting, there was a ton of kick ass fight scenes as well as an unexpected twist, which I didn’t foresee.
However I did not enjoy the story as much as I thought I would. The main character seemed verging on whiny. And I found her inner turmoil for what she feels for Kael was frustrating. I have a hunch that the second book (if there is one) will reveal a possible past relationship between the two, thus I understand why she is having this inner turmoil but 😩 I become irritated.

Greylyn, a guardian angel, helps protect innocent humans from demons over the centuries while battling Kael, a dark guardian. She helps a pregnant woman and her unborn child and deals with a prophecy. She gets help from Kael.
I liked this book and the way it skipped over the centuries while showing Greylyn and Kael's relationship. I enjoyed the two protagonists and enjoyed seeing them work together.
Interested to see what happens next in the series.

Great urban fantasy! Can't wait for the next, definitely recommend!
Greylyn is a guardian angel, she is on a mission to save a young soon to be mother. Kael is a dark guardian. For all the good Greylyn does Kael is the evil of those deeds. Is it possible for a guardian angel and a dark guardian to work together, maybe to love together? Can they stop the evil, oh but wait he is the evil. This book is a cliffhanger.
I read this book as an arc from NetGalley
I tried to find this book at Goodreads but could not. So only a review at NetGalley must suffice. I like urban fantasy and this book seemed a good match for me. Liked the cover and blurb.
It is about guardian angel Greylyn. She fights for the ' good side' and the book starts with her first assignment. From that moment on she keeps running into Kael, a dark guardian angel. There is a prophecy and a lot of fighting. The writing was really decent, but a bit repetitive.
Liked the book, but I am not sure I will follow the series.

This was a pretty good archangel paranormal romance. The heroine is determined to save an engaged couple from evil demons but didn't anticipate her archenemy Kale to join her in saving them. I loved the sensual angst between the two protagonists. I can't wait to uncover their love story. The rest was packed with the usual heaven and hell turmoil which was more a filler for me than intriguing but the characterization was on point. Sign me up for the next book!
