I follow Brian online for some years now and I had a blast reading his strips in this books as well. Much recommended!

You don't even have to be a parent to find this book to be hilarious. I have loved Brian Gordon's comics for years now and this was great fun to read all at once.

I love the description where it says "Everyone's favorite parenting cartoon featuring ducks presents a comprehensive view of the early parenting years in all of their maddening cuteness and sanity-depriving chaos."

This book does include 50 comics from the website but it also contains 50 "never-before-seen cartoons."

If you need a laugh, this is the ticket.

I love Fowl Language and follow it all over social media but I still love to read in it in book format. This collection did not disappoint and was extremely hilarious.

I've followed the authors comics in social media for as long as I can remember. His air and sense of humor when it comes to "parent struggles" are so relatable and hilarious! This was definitely a feel good book that made me smile and laugh.

Ha, if you're ever up for a laugh, I will a <em>million</em> times suggest you go pick up one of Brian Gordon's <em>Fowl Language</em> comics. In fact, I would suggest just taking some time out of your day to just visit his <a href="https://www.fowllanguagecomics.com/">website</a>. And then go and buy yourself copies of his books for good measure. This particular one, <em>Winging It: The Art of Imperfect Parenting</em> isn't out until October, but let me just tell you that there are always some truly amazing pieces of comedy gold in anything Brian Gordon draws for the world.

The truth about his newest book for me is that I've seen a fair number of the panels that make it into this book before. You can't really be an avid fan following his work and not have seen some of them. But fear not, there are a number of new comics that I'd not come across before, and ultimately you still find yourself giggling quite a bit for several minutes at various, often relatable, moments.

<em>Winging It</em> comes with comics separated into several sections, each with a short blurb from Gordon himself to describe what inspired the following comics. It was a nice added touch. The real gem of this book, though, is simply that your purchase allows you an amazing and hilarious collection of Fowl Language comics to set on your nightstand and read any time you need a little pick-me-up.

It's great to have his website available to scroll through on your phone every once in a while, but there's truly nothing better than having a collection of little hilarities to page through right before you're drifting off to sleep. I will tell you that Gordon's <em>Fowl Language</em> happens to remain one of the funniest webcomics I've ever had the pleasure to read. I had a lot of laughs while reading this one and I don't imagine they will be the last that Gordon brings to me.

Brian Gordon's Winging It is a comic book filled with hilarious anecdotal jokes about parenting and adulthood.

The author's wit and dry humour is perfectly matched with funny pictures of his family, drawn as ducks. Each new section begins with a short essay on that topic, describing the author's thoughts and feeling about family holidays, children fighting, sleeplessness, coping mechanisms etc.

The comics are relatable and many are laugh-out-loud funny. I think you will enjoy this book the most if you are a parent or spend a lot of time with kids.

I was already a fan of Fowl Language before I read this book and I have to say, this just made me more of a fan than I already was! This is a really great collection that has some new stuff and some comics from the website. I don't have kids but I think anyone can relate to these comics anyway. Pretty much, if you like funny, entertaining comics then you will like this collection. I highly recommend it!

Brian Gordon's "Fowl Language" comic is quite possibly one of my favorite comics of all times. I absolutely loved this collection, but I am not really surprised as WELCOME TO PARENTING and THE STRUGGLE IS REAL were both a huge hit in my mind. Definitely a comic that speaks to parents (or, in my case, "aunts") everywhere.

Fowl Language will never stop cracking me up. In some ways, it makes me want to spend more time around kids to see if life is actually like Brian Gordon describes it, but most of the time, I'm glad I don't have to deal with the issues presented.

The Fowl Language books are always great for friends and family having their first kid. Let them know what is coming with some humor.

I absolutely love this comic! It is hysterical and entertaining! Anyone who has kids or who is around kids will enjoy this!

I really loved this book. I found it to be an awesome collection of a really hilarious comic. The humour and dialogue is almost always perfect. I also thought the reflections throughout the book were interesting, too. This is one of my favourite comic series, so I loved the book.

This comic book was so funny, with really clever jokes and pretty art! I can't wait to read more from Brian Gordon!

This comic collection offers readers a comprehensive view of the early parenting years in all of their maddening cuteness and sanity-depriving chaos. The book features some favorites as well as dozens of previously unpublished cartoons organized into 12 thematic chapters—including "Babies: Oh Dear God, What Have We Done?"; "Siblings: Best Frenemies Forever"; and "Sleep: Everybody Needs It, Nobody's Gettin' It". Each of these sections begins with an essay by Gordon.

Winging It is exactly what I was expecting, and then some. I have been a fan of Gordon's work for awhile and follow the related social media accounts. This means that I have seen some of the images before- but something about the style, humor, and honesty inherent in the comics never gt old for me. Too often I think parents are trying to act perfect, like they have it all together and know what they are doing. I have always felt like parents, myself included, are all just faking it and trudging ahead trying to do the best we ca for our families. I love seeing someone writing and drawing about feeling the same way. We all love our kids- but no matter how much love there is there will still be moments when selling them on Esty seems like a good idea. I think that being honest about having those moments is just as important for a parent's mental health and survival as facing the moments when they start pulling away and become more independent. There was a great deal that I related to in this collection- the sleep deprivation, picky eating, and sibling arguments most of all. I think most parents can find something to relate to or laugh at in this book, and will enjoy the ride.

Winging It is an enjoyable and relatable read for parents and caregivers. The combination of love and frustration that is parenting is captured with honesty and humor.

Gordon produces a consistent quality of comic strip, both in illustration and quality of joke. This particular book is organized thematically and the introductory pages to each section add to the charm.

An absolutely entertaining look at parenthood...until you meet yourself in one of the comics! I've seen a few of Brian Gordon's "hits close to home" comics but I did not realize the number of times I'd recognize myself when I paged through this collection. Yes, it's a humorous look at family life but we can all use a humor to help make it through the day. Now I'm going to recommend this book to my reading circle and go search for more of his life illustrations.

Another literal and humorous look at parenting and I have to agree with the author most of the time we parents don’t have a clue as to what we are doing. It’s a fun way to look at ourselves as we strut around being such proud parents while making a mess most of the time.
