Very useful for implementing and measuring business results on social media. I found it very useful and I'm sure others will too. Recommended if you're not sure how to use social media for business.
Social media is a must for all businesses large and small. If you're a small business, it often seems overwhelming, and a lot of extra work, for questionable results.
This book will hold your hand and give you a clear and simple step by step approach to getting started, and keeping it up. It will also show you how to see results, and run different campaigns to test results - sounds complicated, but this book will make it much easier for you to understand,
Recommended for any small business that is not yet using social media as a promotion tool, or has used social media but haven't got the expected results..
This book is a user-friendly guide to using social media within your work from understanding how it is used by businesses, through to creating SMART objectives for your own use of social media in business. It has case studies/interviews throughout the book to compliment what is being written and to show it "in action".

There were a lot of interesting concepts in this book.
As a marketing professional, I had some hard times with the content. It was a little dry to me and I felt myself skimming at some parts.
I can't begin to explain how helpful this book is going to be to me in the coming weeks as I start to engage with social media for my new consultancy. This book is like a bible and will be used accordingly by me! I will be using this book to review my business plan (as it is so much more in-depth and helpful than other soures I have consulted).
It is a great help for businesses that want to up their social media presence. I really have no complaints, it's thorough, it's understandable.
I was interested in reading this because I had an idea to change careers and social media management was on my short list. This book is not for people with no marketing experience. There is a lot of technical wording and references to work techniques that were lost on a newbie like me.
I didn't learn a lot about how to be a social media manager but I did enjoy the interviews and liked how she used real life examples (such as the United Airways passenger issue in 2017).
This book would be great for people in a marketing environment who are interested in moving away from traditional marketing and into the new world of influencers, viral videos and social media.

This was a very technical read. But very enlightening, especially with marketing a brand specifically for social media. As I am a blogger using social media as a way to get readers, this was useful.
Interesting read. I feel understanding how to use social media as a platform is very important. This is fairly technical and dry but educational none the less. If your new to marketing or just dabbling as a very small business owner this may be too complicated. However, if your fairly savvy but need focal points to streamline your approach to your online marketing there are golden nuggets here. I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.
Too dense and dry for my brain. Some of that may have been the formatting in my digital copy. As a book blogger, I was hoping for more manageable tasks to market my website on social media. Instead this is intenser business strategy. Maybe I'm just not ready for it yet? It's very thorough and offers a lot of examples of successful strategies. There are also interviews with others in the field. While this will probably be helpful for the right reader, it isn't for me.

Full disclosure, I work in social media, so I like reading up on new books coming out in the sphere to make sure I'm current. And it seems like I am.
This is a solid guide to social media - it's not anything groundbreaking, but it's not overly complex either. You can work on it as a beginner or with slightly more experience.
All businesses today need to be aware of how to use social media as a tool. This book is a great start, it covers so much and is easy to read regardless of your technical ability. It is a brilliant starting point for any size of business and should be read by everyone. A very useful and well needed book for today.
Social media is something that's always changing and now it is even more important to know how to use social media properly. This isn't just going live, being engaged, having a presence. This is using the features of social media correctly and effectively. This book gave a great overview into various strategies.
A well written, clear and useful book, it's very helpful it you want to understand more about social media strategy or are starting to work in the field.

I found a lot of information that I plan to use to promote my business and to help my clients promote theirs. The information and resources provided will help me be more active with social media, while keeping it from taking all of my free time trying to find what works.

This is a comprehensive and well structured guide for those who start brand marketing. I think is ideal for startups who has little experience in marketing strategy and brand development. This book can be a very good guide as it has step by step processes description and Dallas how to deal with marketing strategy, plan well ahead.
