An entry level book for those interested in the Theology of the Body. Helpful and interesting, though perhaps a niche subject.

I read the Theology of the Body by Pope John Paul II for a university course on marriage and Christian theology. I wish this book by Christopher West had existed at that time. He has created a very reader-friendly, accessible guide to the Theology of the Body that would be an amazing introduction to the giant body of work that is TOB. He draws in contemporaries and personal stories to make the major points and theological concepts resonate with the reader. It also has some pastoral elements which were very effective. If you've been interested in the Theology of the Body but found it too overwhelming, this book is a great place to start.

This seems like a thoughtful book and probably helpful for Christians who want to feel more positive about their body.
