Truly enjoyed reading messages from a different perspective ! Amazing how different preaching styles can be so entertaining

A worthwhile resource especially for those unfamiliar with Black and African American preachers and preaching. It is indepth, thought provoking and covers a range of styles. The Preface by Charlie Dates is itself worth getting this book for. Recommended.
Thanks to NetGalley and Moody Publishers for ARC.

This is a fascinating read for anyone who enjoys Black preaching styles, but would be especially helpful to seminary students. White readers will learn a lot about how the Black experience shapes sermons and how they can recognize and promote understanding of that experience in their own sermons. Recommended.
