Unable to give reviews due to personal difficulties at the time, but I heard a lot of good things about the book that I plan to buy one myself.

This was SO FUN - what a great follow up. It was witty and dark and just downright enjoyable. There were a few elements to the *optics* of the plot that, as a lawyer myself, took me out of the story, but that's to be expected in this genre so I don't fault the book too much for that. Overall, when I read this, I had been in a slump and knew I needed to switch genres and go a bit more back to my roots -- and this was the perfect read for that. Fun, comforting (in a weird, criminal way?) and a bit sociopathic!

I absolutely loved this book and the previous book Jane Doe was amazing!

Jane is back and she is even more scary calculating than before. Jane's troubled sixteen-year-old niece, Kayla, has vanished, and no one even seems to care. Neither does Jane. Until she sees a picture of Kayla and recognizes herself in the young girl's eyes. It's the empty stare of a sociopath. She must find this girl...if for no other reason than to see if her niece is a younger version of herself. We follow Jane on her journey to find Kayla and we are drawn into the dark world of psychopaths!

An intriguing follow-up to Jane Doe, Problem Child continues the story of Jane and her attempt to settle into the façade of a normal life. An façade that soon gets tested when her niece goes missing and only Jane is aware of just how much danger there actually is here.

Jane is back and better than ever!! And she has a new side kick. Maybe even more crazier than Jane. I love these popcorn thrillers!! They read so fast. I will definitely read more by this author.

I love the Jane Doe series and the author is brilliant in bringing to life a character that you are supposed to hate but really love.

The only reading this got4 stars is because I felt it needed more scheming. But it's certainly setup for book three to be great

Jane is back and she is colder and scary calculating than ever before. At times I was cheering her on and other times I was cringing with the length she went with her deception.

I started off fascinated and couldn't wait to find out more about Jane's niece and I was turning those pages as fast as I could till the very last page. I loved that last paragraph and what a way to end the book. However, I felt a bit let down as I think I missed the plot of the story here and didn't get much more out of Jane other than just how mean she is. It was entertaining at times but just didn't feel like a developed plot. So after sharing some thoughts with my friends, I think we are in store for a fascinating character to come. I just wished it didn't feel like it took a whole book to set that up.

Thoroughly enjoyed this twisty mystery from one of my favourite thriller authors. It was also great to be back with Jane and her dark way of looking at life. Parts of this book reminded me a lot of one of my favourite mystery thrillers Sharp Objects, especially the ending.

I would actually love a third book in this series, just to see what's gonna happen next!

It was wickedly delightful to be reacquainted with Jane, not sure what this says about me as a person but her behavior makes me laugh. She has the best one liners and her brutal and cruel honestly kills me.

Interesting thriller, well written, well developed storyline.
Good pace. Not boring. Keeps you interested until the end.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing access to this book. This is my honest review. All opinions are my own.

A very unusual heroine (for want of a better word) and a fast paced plot make this a good read. IT doesn't matter if you missed the first one because Stone provides the essential back story. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

Eh... Jane is back in this 2nd installment more sassy than ever, but halfway I was pushing to reach the end. I didn't finish it.

The bad ass protagonist is my favourite character. I loved her in Jane doe. Victoria Helen Stone a unique ability to keep her readers hooked to her books though sometimes it feels dragged but you just jump and hop to reach the conclusion.

I absolutely loved Jane Doe so I was very excited to get this arc, but I was a little disappointed in this sequel. I can’t quite put my finger on why, maybe my expectations were too high? I will still read anything Stone puts out though!

Problem Child is the second book of the Jane Doe series. Jane is a snarky, smart mouth amateur detective that has the task of finding her troubled 16-year-old niece who went missing. At first Jane sees this as a situation she’d rather not get involved in but against better judgement decides to take a chance and sets out to find her. I haven’t read the first Jane Doe book Revenge, but I can say that Problem Child can be read as a stand-alone book. As the story went on, I did find that the backstory of Jane and the search for Kayla could be seen as filler. I did enjoy her plots for revenge for the coworker who takes credit for Jane’s work and is a total witch. All in all, I’d recommend this book and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

I tried to get into the story but wonder if not reading the first book was the problem or if I just could not relate to Jane...didn't like or understand her so decided not to keep reading ~ That said ~ Thank you for the ARC ~ This was not evidently a good fit for me to read. As I did not finish the book I will not be posting a review on vendor sites.

This book is the second in a series.
The pace was slower than the first book but it kept my interest throughout. Wow what an ending so creepy

I really enjoyed Jane Doe and this second book was just as enjoyable of a treat as the first. This next chapter follows Jane in search of her missing niece who appears to have similar “sociopathic” traits as her and discusses her past more, which was a bit of a mystery in the first book. Very gripping and enjoyable read.

I loved Stone’s first novel but found this one lacking. I often thought the storyline was boring and repetitive.
