Good book for YA readers. For me the book came in a bit shallow. I loved the time travel but I read better books than this one. I liked the plot although a bit too dark for me.
I think young adults would be thrilled reading this book. For me it was just 🆗

Time travelling books are always a bit tricky for me. If it gets too mind-bending then I really struggle and get confused. This story dealt with the technical aspects of time-travelling in such a way that after a little bit of thought and re-reading a short section or two, I was able to understand.

The main characteds , the three kids, were well described. The little brother was annoying but Sophie and Jhin were great characters.

The whole of this story was focused on Sophie learning she has time-travelling powers but not understanding how they work. But then Oscar, the brother, is kidnapped and the whole of the book is Sophie basing him down. It was very frustrating.

I was expecting cool.historical events from the kids point of view while learning how the powers worked. Maybe doing different tasks, etc. But no, just search and find. For a story that started out really exciting, I surprisingly ended up bored for 80% of the book.

This is one of those books where it is not the worst time-traveling book I have ever read, but it is not the best I have ever read. It is a rather slow book and I wanted to stop reading it at several points because I could not stand Sophie sometimes.

2.5 out of 5 stars.
