Qigong and the Tai Chi Axis is a interesting book. It is good for beginners and is easy to understand.

Knowing nothing about Qigong, this was an excellent intro. It's clear and well written, and helps set expectations while taking readers step by step thru sequences. These days, video is easy to find, and I suspect most people would prefer that, and may get more out of it than any book on the topic. But, this is still worthwhile and will probably provide more info than you'll find in most vids. Recommended.

This is a great introduction to Qigong and Tai Chi it will help you understand what it is all about and how beneficial it is. It focusses on Chinese Medicine and describes how Qi Gong and Tai Chi is a system of healing and strengthening the body. The book shows you how you can use certain exercises to focus on specific parts of your body including the heart, stomach, liver etc. It also looks at emotional and mental health and provides exercises that will improve your overall health. The sequences and exercises are clearly described and many are illustrated so you can see clearly what you are supposed to do.
