I enjoyed reading Weekend Fling. It has some of the typical women meets rich guy and falls for him plot but with lots of twists to keep the story interesting, original and a page turner.

Willow is fresh out of a long term relationship and staying with her mother who is dealing with divorce papers and stacking debt. The bills are adding up and Willow has to work two jobs to try to make ends meet. She certainly doesn't believe she has time for men. Especially not Trey, the cute guy who ass her out repeatedly with zero success. But while she may not need a man, she could use a break. Trey invites Willow to a weekend away for a friend's wedding and she takes him up on his offer. Now that he's convinced her to go, he's committed to proving just how good they can be together.

I loved this story. It had it all; love, mental health struggles, and trust issues. The series is really great with all the sweet and sexy storylines, but I may love this one the most. Trey is just such an endearing guy. Willow struggles to find a balance in her life with her mom and work, but she ends up finding her way with Trey's help.

I enjoyed this storyline and characters. I also enjoyed getting some updates on the previous couples in the series.

This was a good read! The writing flowed well from start to finish. I loved Trey and Willow together, they had great chemistry. Trey was a good man. I liked that stutter made him a little more human, with all the hotness going on :) I liked Willow for the most part, but when the crap hit the fan she pulled away from Trey, and he was only trying to help. When he does honor her wishes, her inner thoughts were "guess he didn't really mean it". Really?! You told him to leave. I did get annoyed at her over that. I was glad to see that she didn't try to push everything under the rug and act like nothing had happened with her mom. It was nice to see that story line go the way it did. The ending for Trey and Willow was perfect! I love a good HEA.

Weekend Fling is the fourth book in the Crazy Love series. Even though it can be read as a standalone, past characters do make an appearance, so it great to get their story from previous books. This book, just like the others, is a fast-paced, humorous and sexy read with plenty of chemistry between the characters. Willow and Trey are the typical couple that really shouts - opposites do attract.

Weekend Fling was a great addition to the Crazy Love Series, it can be read as a standalone if you haven't read any of the other books in this series but be warned the couples from the previous three books do make appearances in this one and you may want to read their Crazy Love stories first but that is totally up to you.

Willow is having a hard time right now, she has recently broken up with her boyfriend of five years and moved back in with her mother after her father left, she is caring for her mom while holding down two jobs to support them, the last thing on Willow's mind is men.

Trey, oh Trey, I got to know him quite a bit in previous books and I have to say I really, really like him. He is what I would call a quite giant, he is over 6' of yummyness and a bit nerdy. He gets lost in his work and needs to be reminded to eat and shower which to me is endearing. But when Trey sees Willow for the first time in the coffee shop he is pulled to her.

Trey needs a date for one of his best friends wedding and he wants to take Willow, Willow doesn't agree so easily but she does go away with him. The sparks fly whenever they are together so it's no surprise that this was a steamy read. However, this book was a little heavier than the other books in the series but definitely not as heavy as Stacey Lynn’s Fireside series.

This is an easy book to recommend to anyone that is looking for a good steamy read that can be read in an afternoon or two.

Happy Reading!!!

Funny, flirty and so swoony! I am so happy that Trey got his HEA!

Willow was such a relatable character. Her life was in the crapper, when bachelor billionaire Trey asks her to accompany him to his friend’s wedding. Just for a weekend, she can forget about the past due bills, her moms depression and all the stress in her life. Trey is sexy and funny, and she can’t help but fall for him when she discovers how sweet he is, too.

But just as Willow is letting go, she gets a call that sends her rushing home. Trey doesn’t give up, though, knowing that there is a genuine connection between them. He has the patience of a saint, because no matter how hard Willow tries to push him away so he doesn’t have to deal with her baggage, he is right there offering support and a shoulder to cry on.

And when she finally gives in to her feelings and let’s herself fall, it’s magnificent.

This is a standalone within a series, and having previously read the other three, I was thrilled to catch up with Corbin and Trager, Braxton and Cara, and Caitlin and Jonas. Willow is the bridge for Braxton/Cara, as Cara’s friend, to the other couples in this series.

Weekend Fling is the fourth book in the Crazy Love series by Stacey Lynn. It can be read as stand-alone.

For me, Weekend Fling is the best book in the series so far. It was the first one I was able to read without a problem and I liked the main characters. Willow and Trey are not perfect, but they were good enough for me. Some times, I was worried about Willow because her mother seemed to unintentionally control her life and I wanted her to have some time for herself. Trey came into the picture and even though he seemed a little off at first, I ended up liking him. He is not an alpha male exactly, but he did his job at romancing Willow pretty well.

The story is exactly what the blurb promises the reader it will be and I liked it. One of the things I liked the most is that I was wondering how Willow's relationship with her father was affected and if she had communication with him and everything was explained at some point in the story. I was not particularly happy with how everything was handled when it came to the part of a romance novel where the hero and the heroine break up before they get their happily ever after and it's the reason why I am going with a 4-star rating instead of 5.

The book was easy to read and I would recommend it.

In reading the synopsis of this book, I thought it would be a light fluff story. I was wrong as this book has much more depth to it. Willow is recently out of a bad relationship, living with her mother who is depressed after Willow’s father left her. Willow is working two jobs to try to make ends meet. She meets Trey who has been attracted to her, although she has been putting him off. She hesitates when he asks her to go away for a weekend to his best friend’s wedding. She makes arrangements to have someone look after her mother and takes off with Trey for a well deserved break. She has to return early as there is a crisis with her mother. The author tackles the subjects of mental illness and depression with understanding and compassion. Making this a part of the story is very well done by the author. I highly recommend this book!

I have not read the other books in this series, but this book was fine as a stand alone, I do think I might have enjoyed it more if I understood the back stories of the supporting characters, but that really wasn't a detriment. I do plan on reading the other books in this series now.

This was a fast paced, enjoyable story. I liked all the characters and especially appreciated the friendships. The parents' relationships were difficult, sad and surprising but very well done. (When you're finished with the book, don't miss the dedication at the end; it'll make you appreciate that storyline even more and perhaps bring a tear to your eye.)

Thanks to Netgalley for an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

This is my fifth ARC from the author. I read the blurb and I was hooked.

This is Willow and Trey's story... I don't know why but it started slow for me and didn't pick until I was about 40%. It's probably just me but yes. It wasn't what I expected. I understand that this was written during a difficult time, and I could see that... could feel the sadness through the pages.

I did enjoy the story. It has more angst than I anticipated but I love how it showed how resilient the human heart can be... that certain risks are worth taking if its with the right person... that it's okay not to be okay and that the greatest love of all, is to love yourself... that its okay to choose yourself.

It's angsty, sweet and swoony all rolled into one... and depending on how emotional you are at the time of read, you might want to have those tissues ready.

This is a fast paced, emotional and fun read!Willow and Trey’s chemistry is sexy and sweet. I liked Trey a lot, he is so charming!

Trey is interested in a waitress from the coffee shop that he goes and he has been asking her out everyday for a while now but Willow has not had an easy time.

Trey let Willow set the pace of their relationship and I loved him for this even more.I can easily say he is the reason why I enjoyed the story more!

Weekend Fling is another winner from author Stacey Lynn. In fact, the entire Crazy Love series should not be missed! This is a terrific story, with well-defined characters and a fast-paced plot. I could not get enough of this engaging romance.

Willow Parks is a barista and freelance editor. She is working two jobs in order to take care of herself and her mentally ill mom. Due to a failed relationship with a man who did not appreciate her, and her father's quick exit from both her and mother's lives, Willow has no desire to find a soulmate. She is exhausted from working and worrying about her mom. Luckily, billionaire and coffee house customer Trey Collins never gives up on asking Willow out. He needs a date for his best friend's wedding in San Diego, and Willow needs a break from life. So a weekend fling it is.

Together, Willow and Trey are an attractive couple. Willow is quite weary of Trey's interest in her, but she likes him well enough to get to know him better. Trey has been interested in Willow for months, and never gave up pursuing her after being turned down time after time. Their time together is replete with fun, flirtatiousness and amazing sex. Unfortunately, their weekend comes to an abrupt halt when Willow's mom is hospitalized. Willow's emotional baggage prevents her from accepting Trey's help and support for a while. Luckily and overtime, Trey is able to break down her barriers and give her the love she so desperately deserves.

I totally enjoyed this book. It is a bit emotional at times and Ms. Lynn's meaningful words brought tears to my eyes. Trey is an amazing character. His warmth, persistence, and sexiness is every woman's dream. Trey's friends were entertaining and fun, while his parents were hilarious. Due to great writing, Willow's ups and down were tangible. This is the fourth book in the series and it can be read as a standalone.

Ruthie – ☆☆☆
This is the fourth book in an interlinked series. All the main characters appear across the books, but each could be read alone in my opinion. In this installment we get to enjoy the wedding of Caitlin and Jonas, whose story features in 28 Dates.

Trey needs a date for the wedding and finally manages to persuade Willow at his favourite coffee shop to go with him. He has been trying for ages as he finds her irresistible, but sadly she has been reluctant until now. We soon discover why, as she is dealing with her troubled mother and associated money issues.

The romance is a sweet one, but I did find there was a lot of inner voice to get the information across and sometimes it was, for me, overly descriptive. As we get to learn the story from both sides, it would have been easy for them to have conversations about a lot of the stuff we are told, and that maybe would have engaged me more in the moment. When the real drama does happen, I was just confused as to why Willow was so surprised at her mother's state. That said, it was indicative of her inability to communicate well, as she could have learned much from her father if she had been in contact with him earlier. I did think that the issue of mental illness was by the end dealt with with care.

Willow Parks is not looking for a man, she can barely keep her head above water working two jobs. Moving back home to help her mother after her father walked out isn't helping Willows stress level. And the bills just keep stacking up. To make matters worse her mom seems to be more disconnected. Yet Willow just needs something to go right.
Trey Kollins has been drawn to Willow from the first time he saw her at the coffee shop in his building. He's tried for months to get her to give him the time of day. And a weekend away seems to finally be the chance for him to show her how they can really be. Their chemistry is clearly there and he's done fighting the temptation. Now to get Willow to let her guard down and see the future. Even when reality comes crashing down, Trey will still be waiting for the opportunity to be the cushion she needs.

I enjoyed this fast-paced sexy and emotional romance from the first page until I read the last word that kept me on an emotional roller coaster and unable to put the book down. I really liked the engaging characters especially the attraction and undeniable chemistry between Trey Kollins, irresistible tech mogul millionaire and Willow Parks, barista and free lance editor. If you enjoy well-crafted contemporary romance that beautifully addresses mental health and depression, don't miss "Weekend Fling" by gifted author Stacey Lynn. Love Stacey Lynn and this series! Trey and Willow are adorable in a quirky way! He is super rich and she is taking care of her mom and trying to keep her head above water. He is trying to wear her down to go out with him. She is getting over a cheating ex. Their paths seems to be opposite but there is something strong pulling them together.

When I first read the blurb and saw the cover, I was thinking this was going to be a lighthearted, sexy, fun book. But it is that and so much more. Willow and Trey meet in a funny way. She is working at a coffee shop and he comes in everyday, asking her out each time, and she refuses. He is astounded by this. These scenes are quite entertaining. Trey is charming, determined, and hands down sexy. I like him throughout this entire story. He proves what a gem he is over and over. Throw in an adorable stutter from time to time and the man is downright lethal to a woman's libido. Willow was very least about getting involved with someone and it is easy to understand why. But I liked her growth through the book. She has her walls and Trey does a fabulous job of breaking them down. They are so cute together during their weekend fling. Having a glimpse of their friendships and his family only adds to the beauty of this book. Now I must read the others in the series.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

This was the first book that I have read from this author and it is book 4 in the series but could be read as a standalone. It was a good and quick read. Their story will keep you wanting more. Trey and Willow were so good together and their chemistry was just as good. I need to go back through her backlist so I can read more of this series.

I fell in love with this hodgepodge series. Willow and Trey story is not different. The pursuit was without fail. Trey was on a mission in which he accomplished and then some. I enjoyed his openness and his desire to be the tortoise. Slow and steady winning the race. Cocky but thoughtful. Willow defenses regardless of what her reality and conscious valid points were, had no chance.

Stacey made this real but romantic. Ensured the smokes and mirrors were cleared and love shined through. It broke my heart but as they say, "only the strong survive and you are not given more than you can handle." Friendship and space is always a plus.

Oh how I hate to say goodbye to this group of friends! I loved this entire series so much -- getting to know everyone, their traits and personalities and how they all interacted with each other. This series had everything I look for in romantic comedies -- sexy, sweet men and strong, feisty women who make them even better men if that's possible. I loved Trey's patience and perseverance with Willow's issues, but I also loved his dominance and self assurance as well. He wasn't arrogant about it; just confident and that made him even sexier. The topic of mental illness is touched upon in a very understanding and emotional way so as to not overshadow the main plot -- very nicely done. I hope this author has more in store for us in this genre because I think she did a great job with this series! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
