Ok I’m not sure what I’m feeling right now. I could identify with Willow on so many counts that it was scary. My heart was breaking with how much life was beating her down and I loved Trey for trying his hardest to make her life a bit easier. The banter at times made me cry ugly tears but mostly it had me smiling especial when he was willing to do just about anything to help her and to keep her in his life.
Truly beautiful story about how much one can take before it gets ( HOPEFULLY) better.

I have enjoyed this entire series and this was no exception. I was intrigued from the first page and only stopped reading for work. One of the things I liked mouse was the fact that Trey knew he wanted Willow, even when she pushed him away. They had great chemistry and he did by her side even when she acted like she didn’t want him.
The friendships throughout this series are wonderful. I wish there would have been a little more closure where Willow‘s parents, especially her dad, were concerned. A great series and a wonderful addition.

After following this series from the beginning I was looking forward to reading Trey's story. I liked getting to know each of the core group of friends through the books and reading their unique stories.
Stacey Lynn does a nice job writing interesting and relatable characters whose story draws you in. Willow and Trey might be my favorites of the entire series. Their story has a lot of heart and you will root for them from the beginning.
Willow has the weight of the world on her shoulders. Between moving back home to take care of her mom & working multiple jobs to keep them afloat, she can’t figure out why rich & gorgeous Trey is interested in her. When he needs a date to his best friend’s wedding, Willow accepts his offer, needing a break from her everyday struggles. Sparks fly and for the first time in a while Willow is happy, until the real world abruptly comes crashing down, reminding her that she and Trey are from worlds apart. Willow pushes Trey away, but will he grant her wishes or will he fight for her?
I love how Trey acted all smooth & cocky but deep down was nervous whenever he was around Willow. It showed he’s human & not perfect. Willow needed to believe that even though she had a lot going on in her life it’s okay to accept help & even open up to the possibility of love. Trey was patient & let Willow figure things out for herself. This was another great read from this author & I’m looking forward to reading more!
This one was just a great escape romance and worth the afternoon it took to read it. Willow has a full plate with two jobs and a mother who needs taking care of and she escapes to the gym for a few minutes of me time. One of her jobs at the coffee house is where she meets Trey, a tech mogul who flirts and consistently asks her out but she refuses. That is until he finally proposes a weekend trip for his friend's wedding because he needs a date. Oh, this was just plain fun even with life breaking in. Trey is patient and determined to win her over. Even if you have not read the rest of the series you should not be lost even with the previous characters involved in this one, though I do recommend the entire series.

I have been dying for Trey's story since reading 28 Dates. This series has been fun and light but Trey's book is quite a bit heavier than all the books before it.
I loved all of the emotion and Trey is my favorite of the series. I did want more of Trey and Willow and felt like the end was kind of abrupt. Overall, I enjoyed their story and this series a lot.
I Just loved this book! It had lots of steamy sex, romantic scenes but also had a lot of depth which is what I liked the best. Willow works hard at two jobs to take care of her mother. Willow’s Dad walked out on them some years ago with no explanation. So Willow grew up hating her Dad and her Mom fell into what seemed to be a deep depression, not able to cope with day to day living and not taking care of herself. Her Mom lives in the hope that Dad will return, even though he is waiting for her to sign divorce papers. Trey is a handsome rich guy who comes daily into the coffee bar where Willow works. He is attracted to her and she to him though she will not admit that. She has learned not to trust anyone, not even herself. The story touches on suicide and mental health but does not dwell on those aspects. I thought the story was beautiful and realistic.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
This was such a great read. Willow and Trey were a great pair. The fact that they have known each other for a while. Trey has been going to the coffee shop for months that Willow works in and has been sneaking looks at her. He needs a date for his friends wedding and is trying to find the ciourage to ask Willow to attend with her. Neither are looking for anything serious since both have been burned before. What starts out as a fun getaway soon turns into so much more. Both cannot deny the attraction, All seems to be going well until Willow gets a call from her friend and has to go home to deal with a family issue. I loved how Trey has made up his mind that he has no intention of letting Willow get away and will do what it takes to prove he wants to be with her. Loved the story and the HEA!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Poor girl meets rich guy and they live happily ever after. End. Well, it’s not THAT simple though. She doesn’t want to like him and he’s a little hesitant to push things too quickly. Until he needs a date and she says no. And since she has no reason to say no, her BFF convinces her to go for the fun. And life happens and it ruins the weekend. And HEA does come . . . eventually! Loved it for all the ups and downs!

Weekend Fling is a terrific mix of sweet, funny, angsty, and well, it's just plain good! Trey and Willow are so good together that it's impossible not to root for them. Willow has more than her fair share of problems to deal with, and Trey is one of those good guys who is genuinely just that, a good guy. He's also got just the right amount of stubborn to keep going after what he wants. The story does have its emotional moments and not just with the romance. It touches on a hard topic for many to discuss, and the author handled it very well while still keeping this couple and their love story at the forefront. This newest addition to Stacey Lynn's A Crazy Love series does stand on its own while still giving readers a chance to catch up with some past favorites. That said, this couple is my favorite in the series. The story is well-written, the romance is sexy and sweet, and the characters are engaging and thoroughly lovable.
Willow was living back at her childhood home. If anyone had ever told her she’d be back there after living on her own for several years she would have laughed in their face. But everything in her life had been upended in the last six months. Working two jobs, keeping her mother in the only home Willow had ever lived in was zapping all her energy these days. But the only thing Willow can do is keep trying and hope she doesn’t fail. Her mother isn’t doing too well since Willow’s father walked out on their thirty year marriage almost a year ago. Her mother continually lost motivation to do anything. What Willow needs is someone to convince her mother she had to go back to work. Or she had to do something herself back to who she used to be. She would have been with Scott if he hadn’t walked into their townhouse and said their relationship was over, he was bored, wanted something different, essentially kicked her out. Willow had been with Scott for five years. She had given up everything for him. At work Molly said the hottie who worships you is back. The hottie was Trey Kollins multimillionaire. Molly’s nutty, sweet, naive, and the most incredible artist Willow had ever seen. Trey unsettles Willow so her avoidance is her preferred method of handling that. Than Trey asked Willow if she was ready for that date with him yet? Willow groans at his invite and the mess of strawberries she had just made. Molly-her co-worker- chimes in and adds she’s off this weekend Trey than responded with “is that so?” Willow answered “Im busy and I’m not interested.” “Oh, that's not true” Trey chides and even though he’s teasing he’s right. He’s also arrogant with a side of yummy deliciousness. Willow replied” How would you know?” Trey replied “ A little birdie told me you were.” Molly said “You work too hard and you could use some fun.” Willow again told Trey she wasn’t interested Willow went outside to talk to another creditor that threaten to take the car and gave her one more week. Either three thousand or the car would be taken. When she looked up Trey was there, he told her he wanted to try for that date again. Then he told his best friend Caitlin was getting married in San Diego this weekend. He wanted Willow to come with him . Trey was a self made millionaire. On the covers of local magazines in poses that made all single women and her guess most of the married ones drool over his body and wealth. It was tempting but she told Trey she had to work. Trey said Molly said you had the weekend off . Willow replied yeah at this job and then returned inside. She became friends with Cara who she met at the gym. The one thing Willow refused to give up was her membership at the gym, it kept her sane. Trey though of how women don’t tell him no . He’s rich and good looking and a stand up guy. Willow’s constant dismissal over the last few months had him questioning everything. Yet it makes him all the more attracted to her. And he’s been attracted to her since the first time he saw her. So Trey went to get some help from Catlin. One fault trey did have when he’s in the workzone everything else goes to the wayside. Caitlin will be working while she’s on her honeymoon scheduling alerts to go off on his calendar so he doesn’t forget to eat, shower or do laundry. He wasn’t exactly proud of it, but he never cared enough to work on changing it. After talking to cara Willow decides to let Trey know she changed her mind and would go for the weekend. Corbin and Trey had met Caitlin in a stairwell, bleeding from her lips screaming while a guy tried to shove his fingers up her skirt. That and the fact that her family didn’t believe her essentially made them the only family she has, outside of her fiance Jonas, so they tend to be very protective. Trey had the urge to punch whoever it was that made Willow distrust men, because she definitely looked at him with doubt in her eyes for awhile now. Like she can’t believe good guys exist, now Trey got a sense of what he was dealing with, he could make his game plan.
Excellent book and I totally loved it. This was an easy romantic read with a lot of emotions shot in. I loved Trey and Willow together and how they interact. My heart broke for Willow and all she was going through. I loved the relationship between Cara and Willow as well as Trey, Corbin, and Caitlin. I loved the pace and the plot. I read this in one setting as I didn't want to put this down. I felt like I was there with Willow and Trey and the rest of their group. I was happy to see how easily Trey’s friends accepted Willow and liked her. Just an all around good book. I love the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

"Weekend Fling" by Stacey Lynn
My Rationalization:
I found 'Weekend Fling' a sweet standalone love story about Willow and Trey. The characters were very well developed that sometimes put a smile on your face from some of there antics. The two main characters were quite an interesting pair where I really liked Trey but Willow well at times got on my nerves., however, I do realize she had lots of trust issues for a reason. I liked how this author was able to bring into the story about the suicide issues dealing with Willow's mother. But all in all, this was a fun, sexy read and in the end, the readers are given a good read.
I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Willow Parks does not need a man in her life. Just out of one relationship, her priorities now are working and caring for her mother. She needs to figure out what she wants out of life for herself first. Enter Trey Collins. The sexy and charming man who is so out of her league. But the getaway he is offering may just be what she needs right now. But Trey is determined to show her they can be good together and more than a weekend fling, but is Willow ready for that? Weekend Fling by Stacey Lynn was a delightful and fun read.
I enjoyed Weekend Fling. It's not as light-hearted as many romance novels and there are several situations where the budding relationship between Trey and Willow is side-tracked by Willow's baggage. The baggage and the side trips make their eventual HEA all the sweeter. It also proves even more what a great guy Trey is. He may be a hottie and a self-made millionaire but he's genuine, caring and giving. What's not to love there? Willow is also sweet, possibly too caring, and sadly very absorbed in her family situation but Trey recognizes this, admires her for it and is willing to help and be there in anyway he can even when she tries to push him away. **Sigh**.
I had not read the first three books in the series and while I found the other characters' backstories interesting I never felt lost. The book definitely works as a stand alone.
Weekend Fling is heavily influenced by a personal experience of Lynn's before she started writing it. I'll leave it to you to read her comments. However, I will say that I think the book benefits from the feelings and situation she added related to that experience. They add another level of realness to the story. It's a topic too often ignored and seldom used in romance and too often taboo to discuss in real life. Lynn handles it with all the gravity required and builds a strong story from it.
Can a Weekend Fling lead to love everlasting?
This is the fourth and sadly last book in the ‘Crazy Love’ series by Stacey Lynn. Stacey is one of my to-go author’s, I never fail to get a fantastic story from her talented hands and Weekend Fling kept up the tradition. It was fun, fast read, but with some serious moments too, depicting as it did, the more realistic aspects of life with Willow’s mom’s problems. But, that aside, Trey and Willow were a great couple with plenty of sexy banter and some steamy times. Their friends were fun too, and Trey’s parents were crazy funny.
But, of course, there was some angst too that led to Willow pushing Trey away, but he wasn’t having any of it. He’s a hot, sexy nerdy guy with a heart of gold, just ask his friends. It was good catching up with characters from the previous books as well. Caitin’s wedding was a sweet treat. But, now it’s all over and I’m so sad.
Willow is taking care of her mother while working two jobs. She is in need of a time out, a weekend of just fun.
So when Trey, a regular at the cafe she is working, is offering to take her on a weekend getaway to be his date on his sister wedding, she really can't refuse.
The first half of this book is so fun and light. Willow and Trey have such a great connection and a very respectful relationship.
The second half of the book is a bit more serious, it is showing without many grafic details the complications of a difficult situation and how one can overcome it.
The strength that one has within can be shown in many ways, it this book we see that very clearly.
Thanks to her ex Willow’s life is a balancing act between working non-stop as well as helping her mother adjust to life without her father. The last thing she needs is a man in her life to complicate it further, so she is determined to resist the attention of Trey even if he is sweet and sexy.
Trey makes it a habit to visit Willow’s place of employment just to see her. All his attempts to see her socially are rebuffed until he asks her to be his plus one to an out of town wedding and no one was more surprised than he was when she agreed.
As they spend the weekend together Willow starts to relax and have fun for the first time in a long time but the demands of her life soon leave her with guilt and regrets but he is about to show her that they are much stronger together than apart.
Full of emotion Willow certainly had her hands full but Trey was patient yet determined to win the woman who stole his heart.
Willow definitely needed a break and a getaway, and Trey has been interested in her for months because he's a regular at the coffee place where her second job is (it's in his building). I loved how kind and considerate Trey was, and there were sweet and funny moments. Willow does have a lot of "baggage" but that's not necessarily how I'd refer to it, it is more family dynamics. The majority of the book focuses on the one weekend of the wedding. I've read other books in this series before, and I enjoyed this one more and also feel it is fine as a stand-alone.

Stacey Lynn is a new to me author and I fell in love just after starting to read this book. I am definitely going back to read more of hers now! That being said, I LOVED Weekend Fling. By the title I guessed it was just going to be a fun, light hearted romance, but boy was I wrong. There is some depth and emotion to this story that really hit me.
I loved Willow. She was hard working, I mean the woman works two jobs to help take care of her moth despite struggling with her own heartbreak. Not only is she hardworking though, she had some sass to her and she is a strong character. Trey Kollins. Hello, book boyfriend material! He may be a rich, but he doesn’t have that arrogance to him. He is all about his family and his friends and his business. He has a sweet side a mile long and will do anything in his power to help those he cares about.
Willow and Trey had so much chemistry. Seriously, I thought my kindle would burst into flames with all the tension between the two of them, but once they finally give in. Grab a fan, you will need it! I loved their story and their relationship and that Trey was willing to prove that he was so much more.
Don’t go into this expected a light hearted romance, because there are so many emotions in it and some tough subjects mention. I loved that Stacey Lynn didn’t just gloss over those like they meant nothing. She did an amazing job at capturing the feelings and emotions behind everyone involved.
This book is a MUST READ from me!
Weekend Fling by Stacey Lynn is book 4 in the Crazy Love Series. This is the story of Trey Collins and Willow Parks. I felt this was a standalone book.
Willow is newly single working two jobs and trying to help her mother who was left in a bad situation too. So when there was a chance for weekend vacation break from Trey who is a persistent customer who she is totally attracted too...it something she can't turn away from. Trey knew that there was something different about Willow and I am glad he kept trying to have more with her. Willow had to step up to help her mom which to me meant a lot and she should have a happy ending.
Loved their story.
