Opposites really do attract, and you can’t get any more opposite than Eric Miller and Tess McTavish. Eric and is super adorable (yet deadly) K-9, Tiger have a strict regime, everything is black and white (or grey and white), rules are rules, and life should be orderly. Tess on the other hand just loves colour, the brighter the better, and quite honestly she does live in her own dream world, also, she’s a huge fan of feng shui, crystals, yoga etc, etc, you get my gist. When their worlds collide the attraction they feel towards each other cannot be ignored, no matter how hard they try. Add in the secrets and lies, oh and let’s not forget about the possible bomb threat, and you’re in for a roller coaster of a ride. I’m loving the Federal K-9 series, of which this is book 3, they can however all be read as standalones. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

Lots of sexual tension along with intrigue and drama as Tess tries to help her brother while staying with Federal agent, Eric. I get that she really felt she had to withhold their past but Eric really did not take it well.

He was also hard to like when he would be so abrupt with her and make Tess feel so badly, then he would go and do something nice so you liked Eric again!

I loved the addition of the K9 dogs and especially Tiger, how can you not love that dog??

Was not sure how Tess and Eric could get past their differences and get their HEA but happily they did get it! And what was going on with Dayne at the end? Hope we find out in the next book!!

**I received a copy of Dark 'N' Deadly from Entangled Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. My opinions expressed below are not solicited in any way.**

Dark 'N' Deadly by Tee O'Fallon is third book in her Federal K-9 series and I hope that you'll love it as much as I did because it was fantastic. I've enjoyed each addition which gets better with each release. This is Tess and Eric and Tiger's story because his part in getting both of his humans together is at times hilarious.

Tess McTavish loves bold colors, yoga, and her rose crystals but she was raised in the Sovereign Citizen Compound in Alabama. A group that pay no taxes and has every alphabet govt agency knows they are planning an attack but when and where is a guarded secret until Tess's receives a call from her brother Jesse. He's managed to get pulled over by Eric because his cargo was suspicious especially when Tiger scents explosive material. It will take everyone from ATF, FBI, DHS and the JTTF to find the location and try to not fall in love with Tess. Plus Eric who knows Tess from previous books must also keep her safe when she takes her brother's place in the exchange when he falls ill. However, Eric has another reason to catch Harley Gant and his minions they're the ones who killed his friends with a bomb.

This is non stop action hold on to the oh-shit handle ride of your life and I can't wait for Dayne, Remy and Katrina's story next.

Hot Heroes, feisty heroines and doggies - what else do you need!!!!

Eric has had a major vendetta against a Sovereign Citizen group for the last decade after it was involved in the massacre of his team. By using Tess' brother, he can get an idea on their nefarious plans and hopefully get the naive kid out of deep trouble. He even offers Tess and Jesse somewhere to stay. WTH? He keeps things distant and unemotional usually. Tess keeps splashing colour all over his orderly life. But will he still feel the burn of attraction to the spitfire once he learns all her secrets?

I have read all the books in the series so far, but you can delve in and out of the series as although it centres on a group of K9 handler friends, they are easily read as stand-alones. I loved getting a little catch up with Matt, Kade and the others (especially the dogs!). Tiger is a great character and I loved how he could level disdain at Eric with doggie snorts LOL. Even Tiger got a HEA!.

Great read and cannot wait to see what happens next between a silver spooned female and a certain K9 handler!!

Tee O’Fallon has knocked this one out of the park! As a reader who has followed this series from the beginning, I’m am encouraged to anticipate the next edition, as each book has outdone the previous offering. Dark ‘N’ Deadly has a well-developed plot, fabulous world building and charismatic characters that provided depth and chemistry to this evenly-paced story. There’s so much to love about this book, I encourage readers to find out for themselves what a thoroughly engrossing story it is. I look forward to the next exciting instalment in the Federal K-9 series.

I received an advanced reader's copy of Dark 'N' Deadly by Tee O'Fallon from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was already familiar with Tee O'Fallon from a previous book (which I enjoyed as well) so I had high hopes for Dark 'N' Deadly. Happily, I was not disappointed!

Overall, I enjoyed this novel and I found it to be very well written. The romantic start for the primary characters, ATF Special Agent Eric Miller and Tess McTavish, began with a bang when Special Agent Miller pulled over and arrested the little brother of Tess. The lead characters knew each other from previous encounters so meeting again in a stressful moment sets the stage for tension, mutual attraction they can't act on in the normal fashion, and drama. From the get go, Dark 'N' Deadly showcased their chemistry and just got warmer from there, but also moved an engaging plot forward.

I liked the well-crafted characters, the witty banter, and the pacing of the novel. The plot moved along steadily and kept me engrossed from start to finish.

All in all, a fun read and an author I will continue to follow!

Such a great story it felt real. I could believe the detail and descriptions with all the suspense. Then I read about the author and it all fell together on why it felt so readers he and detailed. Totally draws you in and I have to admit I went and bought the previous books in the series so I could read more. Excellent and a definite page turner

This review comes purely from the heart. I was lucky enough to be the mom of a German Shepherd who was trained by a police officer and to this day he was the most amazing dog ever! That being said I'm partial to books with K-9 officers in them. However, I can also be extra critical. This was amazing!

I loved this book so much. From the beginning to the end and I did not want it to end when it did. This is definitely a book I'll read over and over and that my friends are the only books that I will give 5 stars.

Plus if you read this you're gonna fall in love with all the characters, except the bad ones of course.

Ok I'm gushing and as you can tell this is not an editorial review this is simply how I felt about the book. Which, by the way, when I read a review is what I'm looking for. So hooked on this series!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Dark 'N' Deadly, is a great book of opposites. Eric and Teas seem to have nothing in common, yet sparks fly from the beginning.

When ATF Special Agent Eric Miller pulls over an old truck, he has no idea what events have been set in motion. The driver is Jesse McTavish, who is unknowingly hauling explosive material. Jesse is the younger brother of Tess whom Eric met, and was immediately attracted to, a year ago at the Dog Park Café. Tess has never forgotten Eric, but her past still haunts her and she must avoid him at all costs. He along with his K-9 Tiger and Federal K-9 friends will race the clock to thwart a group that plans to build and activate a bomb, killing thousands. When Tess realizes who Eric is after, the man who is responsible for the death of his ATF colleagues, will he understand why she hid from her past? A thrill-ride as Eric and Tess fight for justice and their need for each other. A strong storyline and amazing characters, with visits from past characters, make this book and series so very special. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation for an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

Tess is facing one of the biggest battles in her life, getting her 18 year old brother Jesse free from federal charges. Eric couldn’t believe his luck when he sees Tess again, unfortunately it’s only after arresting he younger brother who’s being charged with some pretty steep charges. While trying to make up for his crimes, even though he didn’t realize what they were, Tess’s brother helps reunite K9 officer Eric and Tess as they race to solve a terrorist plot. While this book does deal with some pretty tough situations, such as terrorism and abuse there are lots of sweet moments between the siblings, between Eric and Tess, and especially with Eric’s K9 partner Tiger and definitely a lot of heat that have you wishing for a fan. This book is the third in the K9 series and whole you can read it alone it will give better understanding of the main and supporting characters if you read the others. I find that the series keeps getting better and can’t wait for book four. 5 stars. I received an arc copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

LOVED this book! Wow! This is a great read that kept me up half the night reading because I couldn't put it down. This is Tess's story and opens with her rushing to help the brother she hasn't seen for ten years. He called her just before being arrested by Eric, the ATF agent that captured Tess's interest before he suddenly disappeared. They're thrown together to try and take down a bomber with links to a group of sovereign citizens, but Tess and her brother have secrets they're afraid to share.

I loved the characters in this novel. As tragic as it was, I loved learning Tess's story and the way she overcame her past. Eric has a difficult past as well, but doesn't share it easily. Together, while fighting their attraction to each other, they try to see if their broken pieces fit together while also fighting to stop a bomber.

While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however it's so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all.

This is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is on my must read authors' list and, if you enjoy romantic suspense, should probably be on your must read list as well.
