"Law Made Fun Through Harry Potter's Adventures" is a fun collection of stories and Harry Potterisms that revolves around the law. Very interesting.
This was a really fun book! Using Harry Potter characters and events, this book gives a thorough look at real life laws and legal consequences (for example: child neglect, identity theft, and disorderly conduct). Going through, one forgets how many laws were broken throughout the series! It’s perfect for any HP fan, and those with an interest in law.
Thank you to Karen Morris and Bradley S. Carroll for providing this review copy.
A fun and interesting read that explains basic laws to you in a unique way. Good for fans of all things Harry!
An interesting book and fun read for people interested in both Harry Potter and legal concepts. It does apply United States laws to the happenings of the Wizarding World, so of course the concepts are necessarily applicable everywhere — and of course keeping in mind that the Wizarding World has its own laws — but still a fun and unique read!
I loved how the author used the fictional characters of Harry Potter to explain real legal facts. This made a topic that can be extremely boring exciting to read.
For students who are already interested in law, this book can be a fun way to introduce them to some of the finer details of the subject through a medium that they are already familiar with. It includes snippets from the stories, and references those stories and chapters so that readers can find them, and then goes on to address how these stories could (and more often could not) actually happen within the realm of the legal system.
This was a fun book. Considering I was already interested in Law to begin with adding Harry Potter to it made it all themore entertaining. This was a great little book that introduces you to various areas of the law. If you are interested in learning more about the law and how it can be applied to situations this is a good introduction.
I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
