I read this to my children and they really enjoyed it. The illustrations were well drawn and made the story come alive. Highly recommend.

'The Loud House #8: Livin' La Casa Loud!' by The Loud House Creative Team is a graphic novel with a lot of characters (just like the cartoon).

This graphic novel has 16 short stories featuring some of the over 20 characters. There are rainy days and pranks. There are dates out and conversations with a ventriloquist dummy. My favorite might be the first story 'Little Big Top' in which Lincoln Loud misses his chance to go to the circus, and totally misses how much like a circus his house really can be.

There are a lot of characters and it's hard to give them all a spotlight this time, which is fine. The gags are fine and the intermingling of the family makes for a good story. The art is by multiple artists, but still feels like it's cohesive.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

I had never heard of loud house or the Santiago/Casagrande family. This book was so much fun getting to know all the characters. My granddaughter loved it and now we have to get the entire series!

The Loud House: Livin' La Casa Loud contains a number of short comics. I really enjoyed how it had a short little bio for each of the characters at the beginning of the book! It was really nice since the boys I read it to had not seen the show yet. After reading this book the kids wanted to watch both The Loud House and The Casagrandes. We will definitely be buying a hard copy of this book and more from the series! I highly recommend this book, especially if your kids love The Loud House or The Casagrandes!

A Fine, Fun Entry

This volume features all of the Loud kids you like plus the blended Santiago/Casagrande family, that's almost as big and raucous. Lincoln gets a gal pal, Ronnie Anne Santiago, so we get even more variety in our characters and their adventures, (and a few Spanish phrases). There are sixteen different short stories packed in to the book's sixty-four pages, so all of the tales are short and sweet.

The brevity of the stories, almost like comic strips, the colorful art, the fast pace, and the upbeat energy, coupled with a mellow but sometimes sly understanding of how families operate, makes each of these books an accessible treat for new readers. I don't usually go for franchise or TV show fare, but these good natured books are a nice, satisfying find.

(Please note that I had a chance to read a free ecopy of this book without a review requirement, or any influence regarding review content should I choose to post a review. Apart from that I have no connection at all to either the author or the publisher of this book.)

The Loud House #8 is another fun read by the Loud House Creative Team. The introduction of the Casagrandes just adds more fun to the mix. Staying true to the cartoon tv series, the stories are cute and funny for a highly enjoyable read for all ages. Ronnie Anne and Lincoln raise enough shenanigans to keep a smile on your face. The art is great and completely matches the show and will please every fan for a book worthy of many rereads. My voluntary and unbiased review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.
