Becca lives in the village of Honeyford with her best friend Zac. She works in the lovely named Cosy Kettle, serving her customers, including the local bookclub, an array of warming delights.
Anxiety and shyness hold Becca back, however, so she makes a Christmas wishlist, wishes to change herself.
Will her wishes come true? Will the local dreamboat remember her name and even ask her out? Will Becca realise that perhaps she's perfect as she is?
This was a lovely feel good read, ideal for this time of year.

Liz Eeles’ third installment in the Cozy Kettle series is just as whimsical and charming as the first two. If you have not have the pleasure of visiting the Cozy Kettle previously, you can absolutely read this one as a standalone. A festive story filled with hope, heart, laughs, and yummy treats! A Scrumptious tale that will leave you feeling all warm and cozy with a craving for some sweets.

This is Becca’s story. Becca was introduced to us in the first book, a sweet shy character who pulled at my heartstrings. I was excited to see that she had her own story and I was even more excited to see her transformation throughout this book. Becca me it’s Logan and thinks he is the perfect guy for her. The problem is Logan doesn’t think Becca is perfect, so Becker decides to change, and become Logan’s perfect girl. Meanwhile Zac, becca‘s best friend/roommate is not thrilled with the new Becca. And even less thrilled that she is changing her self for Logan. I’m sure you all know where this is going.... even though this was slightly predictable, it still was so much fun. These characters were so engaging. The setting is so quaint yet quirky. And I loved all the banter and humor. There is a definite festive vibe running throughout the story as Becca plans a Christmas party, but it’s not Christmas overload. This really is the story about a girl discovering how amazing she truly is and in doing so recognizing the boy who always thought she was.

Oh I couldn't wait to delve into this delightful, festive novel! The cover completely drew me in with it's pretty fairy lights, mouthwatering treats lined along the bottom. I love the bright, Christmassy colours used and to me it's the most beautiful cover. I was wondering when we would get to learn more about the shy and anxious Becca, and I'm glad we're finally getting to read her story.

At first, as with the other novels, I wasn't sure what to make or think of Becca. Yes, I understood that she was anxious and unsure on life, but she seemed a little standoffish and not very likeable to begin with. However, as the story went on, we learn more about her and realise her ways. Once I began to know her a little more, I begun to like her more too. Again, like the other novels, I absolutely loved the setting of this novel. It sounded so idyllic and even more so at Christmas time.

One thing I really loved is that we had the bookclub gang back again. They're such a unique and fun bunch. My favourite is definitely Stanley, the way he talks and acts just makes me laugh and he adds such a lightheartedness to every novel. One character who I would love to learn more about is Millicent. She seems a strange and withdrawn character, like she is hiding something, so I'd love to read more about her! I'm hoping there's another in the series and we get to read about her!

I kind of knew where this story was going about a third of the way in, but I was happy with where it was going. I don't want to give too much away but I'm happy with the outcome and who Becca ended up with. They seem like such a suited couple and I'm pleased it worked out the way it did. I really couldn't stand Logan, he seemed so up himself and I wasn't too keen on Jasmine either. Apart from those two characters the others were really likeable.

Overall, a really heartwarming and festive story that I really loved. Thank you to the publisher for a chance to read an advance copy of this novel via Netgalley which I have reviewed honestly.

I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful hug of a book. Becca is a shy, reticent, warm but living in her successful sister's shadow. When Becca becomes attracted to the burly Logan, it becomes her mission to be more like her sister to win over Logan. Her supportive best housemate Zac however, already think she's perfect.

A wonderful story with great characters, I devoured this book over a weekend and immediately wanted to read more books by Liz Eeles.

My biggest disappointment with A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle by Liz Eeles was discovering at the end that this would be the last book in the Cosy Kettle series. I’ve enjoyed this series immensely.

A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle is the story of Becca whom we met in book one, New Starts and Cherry Tarts at the Cosy Kettle. At that point in time, she was shy, troubled, and constantly verging on a breakdown. Now, as she is manager of the Cosy Kettle, she has changed. Making even greater changes to herself is on her list of things to do before Christmas. That and get a date with Logan, the hunky gym rat who is friends with her housemate, Zac.

While most of the action and outcome is fairly predictable, that did not take away from the charm of this novel. It was wonderful to see Becca come into her own, make her changes, and then pick and choose amongst those changes so that she could still be her own person.

Like the previous two novels, the same secondary characters are on hand to provide eccentricity as well as insights. These are human eccentrics, not just cardboard cutouts to provide village color.

This is probably the best Christmas romance I’ve read this season. While it can be read as a standalone, I’d recommend you read the other two books as well because they are equally as charming and well written. If you need a respite from the soulless world around us, these might help.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Another entertaining and well written Cosy Kettle romance. Great story line and characters. I highly recommend this book. I received an arc from the publisher and this is my unbiased review.

I received a digital ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I had read the previous two in the series and just knew I would love this one too. I would have read it much faster but I had some upsetting family news and so found it hard to pick this up and get immersed in it. But each time I did pick it up to read a chapter, I could easily remember the characters and the plot.

Well written, great characters and I can't wait to see what else Honeyford has to offer.

This summer I had the pleasure of reading A Summer Escape and Strawberry Cake at the Cosy Kettle by Liz Eeles, which I absolutely loved. When I saw that this book was coming out, I couldn’t wait to return to this world amongst a gorgeous Christmas backdrop. Also a note, if you didn’t read the previous story that will not not impede you from enjoying this delicious read.

After being unable to cope with the constant high stress of her high profile job, Becca decides to leave it all behind and takes a position as the manager of the Cosy Kettle cafe. After squandering a potential deal for the cafe, Becca’s anxiety and self confidence is at an all time low. She decides that once and for all, she is going to make some changes in order to be more like her confident and gorgeous twin sister. Becca decides to make a Christmas wish list, and she’s determined to have all of her wishes even if the timeline is a bit tight.

It was effortless to fall in love with Becca from the first few pages. She clearly wants to become a better version of herself even if she doesn’t really know what that looks like. She’s convinced herself that if she can impress Logan by hosting a classy and chic Christmas do at the Cosy Kettle, Becca will also score a date with him. Becca also goes to great lengths to get a glamorous makeover as well as find a way to finally make her parents proud. I could definitely relate to her desire to change until she ultimately discovers her own inner worth.

Besides Becca, her roommate and best friend Zac was such a wonderful character. I loved how Zac always put Becca and her dreams and wishes first even when Becca doesn’t pick up on it. It was frustrating to see Becca pine over Logan when her best friend was staring her in the face.

Overall, this is such a cosy and feel good holiday read that reminds us that we don’t need to change who we are in order to find happiness. Rather, we only need to discover our true selves.

Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for providing an eARC for review. This did not influence my review. All opinions are my own.

I personally enjoyed the first two books in the series better then this one. I liked it but did not love it.
Read this if you are in the mood for a holiday story with a cozy cafe, friendships, romance and humor.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Third instalment of the 'Cosy Kettle' reads is here, and goodness me, it certainly lives up to its Christmas-esque vibes of the cover! If you have yet to read this series, each book can be read as a standalone and don't really need to be read in order. That said, if you're a reader who prefers to know the in-depth details of characters friendships and how they got to the place they are in this book, then I wholeheartedly suggest that you start with book one. Just my opinion of course!

In previous books, Becca has taken more of a backseat and, whilst we do get to know her a bit, this is the first time that we get to really get to know her and what makes her tick. The Cosy Kettle book group are also back again, with Stanley shocking people with his youthful decisions. Ahem. I say youthful...it's Stanley...enough said!

The premise of this book is super lovely, and it made such a change to have Becca at the heart of the story for once. I enjoyed catching up with all of the characters again, and I especially enjoyed to see a different side to Millicent. For once she came across a bit more human than merely showing her Maleficent tendencies.

Becca doesn't have much confidence and constantly compares herself to her twin sister, Jasmine. To try and do something about her confidence, Becca makes a Christmas wish list for herself in the attempt to reinvent herself and make her personality more....Jasmine. Now, I'm sure a lot of us have wished that we were someone else, or wished that we were a bit more assertive and what not. I certainly have...until I realised that changing myself because other people had an issue, was actually a lot more problematic than I had originally thought. I found the whole situation to do with Becca, a little disheartening because it came across that her personality traits were not good ones to have. I couldn't help but feel that, in order to be happy, one had to change themselves and that left me with a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth.

However, I was very pleased that the storyline took the route that I thought it would, and I was very happy that Becca was able to see herself in a light that was right for her and nobody else.

I enjoyed the festivities of this Cosy Kettle read and, despite my slight irks, I found the book to be a very thought-provoking and cosy read. I now have a massive craving for mince pies though....I wonder why!

Cosy, hopeful, and full of Christmas hope (and mince pies) - a lovely little series!

Flora takes over the Honeyford Bookshop (in book 1 of this series) and sets up the Cosy Kettle (teashop and bakery) at the back of the bookshop.
Becca is a young girl who is hired as the manager of Cosy Kettle. She stays with her best-friend Zac, as his housemate.

Becca, by nature, is a nervous and anxious person. She lacks confidence in herself, and her abilities to take any decision. She cannot seem to stand up for herself, and perpetually needs looking after.

Disappointed at always having to play second fiddle to her gorgeous twin sister, Jazz, who couldn’t have been more different to her, she decides to revamp herself.
As part of her Christmas resolution, she decides to re-work on her personality and also find the courage to go out on a date with Logan, whom she has a huge crush on.

Things seem to be looking up for her, when Logan approaches the Cosy Kettle with a business proposition. Becca goes all out to plan this major event, as she has to be in Logan’s good books. She also has to prove to Flora that she’s a capable manager and all the book-club members, who are going out of their way, to ensure she fulfils all her Christmas resolutions.
At the same time, she has to deal with Zac and Jazz as a potential couple – which leaves her heart in a state of turmoil.

If you are an anxious person, please realise that it is completely okay to be so – it is better to embrace it and make the most of the benefits it confers: the sensitivity, empathy and kindness, rather than trying to shoehorn your personality into a whole other one that doesn’t fit.

This is Becca’s journey to discover herself and where her heart truly lies.
It is a delightful, charming and easy read.
And can be read as a standalone.

This series comes to an end here - and I would have loved to read more about them. But looking forward to newer reads by her

What a cozy and delightful book! This was my first book by Liz Eeles and it won't be my last. I loved the variety of characters and the cozy setting of Cotswolds. This was definitely a page turner for me that I read in just a couple days. If you enjoy cute, funny, Christmas themed books (think Hallmark), you'll love this one, too! Thank you Netgalley for this advanced copy.

A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle by Liz Eeles, is the 3rd book in the Cosy Kettle series, and my first book by this author. This was a wonderful best friends Christmas romance. I enjoyed seeing how the different threads tied together and how the dynamics between the characters played out. Looking forward to reading this author again. I recommended this book/series is you're looking for a sweet romance.

I reviewed a digital arc provided by NetGalley and the publisher. Thank you.

'A Christmas Wish & A Cranberry Kiss At The Cosy Kettle' is the third book in the 'Cosy Kettle' series. I loved the first two books in the series and I couldn't wait to get started on this third book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'A Christmas Wish & A Cranberry Kiss At The Cosy Kettle' but more about that in a bit.
I couldn't help but take to Becca from the first moment I met her in this book. She fled her previous home to escape her previous life. Becca sees herself as a failure in most things such as her family, her relationship, her work and she can't help but compare herself to her sister who Becca perceives to be 'perfect' in every way. A big part of Becca's problem is how she perceives herself and her self confidence seems to be at near rock bottom. Becca flees her previous life and she moves to a little village called Honeyford, moving in with her best friend Zac. It's obvious that Zac is holding a torch for Becca but Becca just can't see that. Becca becomes attracted to a man called Logan, who seems to loiter around like a bad smell. He seems to barely notice that she exists and he certainly can't remember her name. Becca is painfully shy and she is afraid to step outside her comfort zone. She wants to stamp her mark on the Cosy Kettle but she lacks the confidence to do so. It's obvious that change is needed and Becca knows that if she wants to change her life then the only person who can do that is her and she can only do that by stepping out of her comfort zone. Becca steps outside her comfort zone and makes the changes that she thinks are necessary. Becca decides to have a makeover in the hope that Logan notices her and they can skip off into the sunset together. However Logan is not what he initially appears to be. Zac thinks that Becca was perfect before her makeover but will he be able to convince her? Will Becca be able to achieve everything on her Christmas Wish List? Who will Becca choose to be with the lovely Zac or the not so lovely Logan? Well for the answers to those questions and more you are just going to have to read the book for yourselves as I am not going to tell you.
It didn't take me long at all to get into this book. As soon as I started to read this book, I felt as though I had reunited with old friends in the regulars of the Cosy Kettle. I love the way in which the characters have gelled with each other and the way in which they stick together to defend one of their own. Reading 'A Christmas Wish & A Cranberry Kiss At The Cosy Kettle' became an addiction. I would pick the book up only intending to read a couple of chapters but I became so wrapped up in the story that I read far more than any couple of chapters in one particular spell. I found it extremely difficult to put this book to one side for any reason but if I did have to put the book down, then I would immediately look forward to picking the book up again. It was as if the book had developed a hold over me and it was a hold that I didn't want to break. I had to know how the story concluded and so the pages seemed to turn increasingly quickly the further through the book I got. I reached the end of the book far quicker than I had anticipated or wanted. I was enjoying the author's writing style, the characters and the storylines so much that I just didn't want the book to end.
'A Christmas Wish & A Cranberry Kiss At The Cosy Kettle' is brilliantly written but then I wouldn't expect anything else from Liz Eeles. She certainly knows how to grab your attention from the start and she draws you into the story. Liz has a writing style that is easy to get used to and easy to get along with. Reading this book didn't feel like I was reading a book, it felt more like a chat between friends. I know that might sound daft to some people but it makes sense to me. Liz manages to incorporate drama, romance and comedy all within the same book. This book left me with a smile at the end and I felt as though I had had a hug from a mug of hot chocolate, which left me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'A Christmas Wish & A Cranberry Kiss At The Cosy Kettle' and I would definitely recommend this book to other readers. I will definitely be reading more of Liz's work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

This is the third book in the Cosy Kettle series and the third one that I have read and reviewed too. The first two books ‘New Starts and Cherry Tarts at the Cosy Kettle‘ and ‘A Summer Escape and Strawberry Cake at the Cosy Kettle‘, I reviewed earlier in the year and absolutely enjoyed them, so I couldn’t wait to begin this book.

Each book has focused on a different resident of the small village of Honeyford and this book is no exception, this time the plot focuses on shy and reserved Becca who is the manager of the Cosy Kettle Cafe situated at the back of the bookshop on the high street.

Becca left her life in Birmingham behind after a devastating break-up which really knocked her confidence. She moved in with her friend Zac and got herself a job running the cafe. After two problematic moments and a visit from her confident and beautiful twin sister Jasmine, Becca decides she needs to turn her life around and so makes herself a ‘wish list’ with six items she needs to complete or overcome before Christmas, including getting the man of her dreams, Logan.

Can Becca fulfil her wish or will she realise that everything she ever needed was right there in front of her?

I have really enjoyed reading the Cosy Kettle series of books and getting to know all the residents of Honeyford, especially the members of the book club, including Stanley, which meet in the cafe.

Becca has been a prominent figure throughout the last two books so it was nice to see her get her story told and also to watch her grow and come out of her shell a little. In the first book I found bookshop owner Flora a little too harsh but I warmed to her in book two, however, I again found her a little too over bearing at times and I still don’t think anybody in their forties behaves and speaks the way Flora does, I would have put her at least another ten years old, if not more.

The story is enjoyable, funny in parts, and filled with gorgeous mouth-watering cakes and drinks. It was wonderful to see Honeyford at Christmas in all it’s frosty, sparkly glory. Overall the book was so sweet and lovely and whilst it can be read as a standalone I would recommend reading the previous two books first, especially the first which has to be my favourite of the entire series.

I really enjoy the Honeyford Cosy Kettle Series and this book was no exception. Nice to finally learn more about Becca as a character and I really enjoyed the wish list storyline. Great to have Stanley and all our favorites back as well.

In the future I’d really like to read a book or two focusing on the older book club members instead of the youngsters. It would be nice to read about Stanley or Phyllis for a change

Cosy and comfy story, just a dash of romance.

This book was always going to be a winner for a dessert foodie like myself. With a gorgeous front cover and a book synopsis that mentions mince pies and steaming gingerbread lattes, it was as though “A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle” was written especially for me, though the title is a bit of a mouthful. Having previously read 'New Starts and Cherry Tarts at the Cosy Kettle' I was keen to read this novel and catch up with Becca.

After a failed romance, twenty-five-year-old Becca is living with her best friend Zac in a little stone cottage in the cosy village of Honeyford. But serving the friendly locals in the Cosy Kettle with a welcoming smile isn't easy as Becca’s shyness is holding her back from making her mark on the café. To make matters worse, her crush on blond-haired, blue-eyed local heart-throb Logan is growing stronger each day. Her Christmas wishes are to completely reinvent herself, bring roaring success to the Cosy Kettle and get together with Logan under the mistletoe. But what about Zac, who thinks she is already perfect?

Set in the Cotswolds in the run-up to Christmas, this latest instalment in the series brought no disappointments.
The opening chapters drew me into the story and captured my attention immediately. There was a lot going on and many of the characters were very funny and easy to relate to, though it would have been good to see more of my favourites from before, such as Callie and Flora. I particularly liked the highly amusing parts that included Callie’s unusual Grandfather, Stanley, who continued to thrill as he tried to regain his youth.

Liz Eeles’ writing style is very natural, with a good steady pace. Delightful and entertaining “A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle” is a quick, light read and it’s a great book with which to curl up on the sofa, along with a mug of hot chocolate and a huge slice of Christmas cake.

A fabulous Christmastime read that I am delighted to recommend.

There is nothing better than being laden down with Christmas shopping and seeking solace in a lovely festive cafe for a festive treat. Where better than to sample a latte and a mince pie than the Cosy Kettle in Honeyford.

This time at the Cosy Kettle we are concentrating on Becca who is the manager. An unlikely choice as she is running away from what she sees as a failure, a broken relationship, a failed job and not living up to the status of her twin sister who her parents seem more to praise.

Hiding in a coffee shop in a bookshop seems like the perfect place to be.

Becca's wish is to reinvent herself and in the run up to Christmas she does.

Can she get the date with Logan, who she has had a secret crush on for months?

Can she learn to be more assertive and stand up in front of people to talk?

Can she be more like her sister Jasmine?

But ultimately this wish list is going to be the undoing of Becca.

The opportunity to impress Logan and her boss Flora with some savvy business acumen and change the Cosy kettle into something more highbrow and sophisticated for a corporate party leads to a few conflicts with regular customers.

Add into the mix her friendship with housemate Luke who always remains faithful to their friendship. A sister who appears to have everything, including it looks like the man Becca is in love with.

Will her wishes come true or will Becca remain true to herself and just simply settle into being the way she is?

This is a nice simple read to bring a trilogy of books about the Cosy Kettle to a conclusion, but for me this book was not my favourite of the three.

My rating: 4.5 Stars

Becca has dealt with heartbreak, but she is happy and is rooming with her best friend Zac. She has a lovely job working at the Cosy Kettle, and even has a chance for promotion. However, she is painfully shy. Can she overcome it enough to make some changes at the Cosy Kettle?

When the opportunity to do just that comes around, in the form of a gorgeous man named Logan, Becca sees stars. Can she mix business and pleasure when it comes to Logan? Or will she soon discover that Zac could be much more than a roommate?

What a yummy story! Not only are the treats Becca creates mouth-watering, but the warmth that comes from her finding her footing, and her true heart's desire made me so happy. I couldn't help but read this book in one sitting. I loved watching Becca grow and Zac's reactions to her. I truly enjoyed this book by Liz Eeles and reading more from her in the future will definitely be on my agenda.

Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for this ARC for review. This is my honest opinion.
