After her boyfriend Charlie broke her heart Becca lost her confidence and her job and decided to leave Birmingham to live with her uni friend Zac in Honeyford. Running the Cosy Kettle café Becca is happy with her life but sometimes wishes she could be more like her non identical twin Jasmine, who Becca is convinced got all the best genes.
During a walk with Zac they find an old well and Becca decides to make a wish, she then makes a list of what she will need to do to make her wish come true.
With the help of Zac and the regulars in the Cosy Kettle can Becca make her wish come true in time for Christmas or will it be a case of be careful what you wish for?

Becca has a wonderful job and an amazing roommate and bestfriend. She has family and loyal customers. The cafe is a lovely and friendly place and she loves every minute of it. But behind all of that she is anxious, has no self esteem and feels like a disappointment to her parents, even her boss. So she makes a wish in an old well, with several bulletpoints, and sets off to better her self. Her journey is hard and she struggles with some of it, especially when steps she takes have adverse effects on the people around her. It's all in all a lovely journey of a woman struggling to accept who she is and her limitations, whilst at the same time finding the love and acceptance we all endeavor to achieve. Full of delicious food, coffee, a Christmas vibe and an eclectic group of people it's definitely a fun little read that you can an enjoy one cold evening in front if your own fire and decked out tree!

Ah man. I hate being that person. That is, the first person to give a negative review of a book. I just didn’t love this one!

Look, I probably should have checked my review of A Summer Escape and Strawberry Cake at the Cosy Kettle, the second book in this series, before I requested this one. I thought I had given that one four stars, and that this one would be much the same. But actually, it was only a 3-star read for me, and I think I had a lot of the same issues with this one.

It started out well. I found Becca really relatable at first. But her inability to see that Logan was usiing her combined with letting the book club crew walk over her and insist on helping her (“they’re being kind” she says as they push her into something she’s not entirely comfortable with for the fifth time) just made her feel more like a doormat after a while.

Most of the side characters were pretty one dimensional. I ddi mention in my review of the previous book that I thought Stanley was a bit over the top, and that feeling continued in this one. He was pushy, and inserted himself into situations he had no real right to be in. While I understood Becca’s anxieties about her twin sister and thought they were well-written, Jasmine herself was irritating. I guess she was supposed to be a little, though.

A lot of the complications in the second half of the book would be alleviated if the characters just talked to one another. I get that it’s difficult to tell someone you have feelings for them, but a quck “Are you and my sister a couple?” would have helped.

And given that Logan was booking the Cosy Kettle for one night only, it seemed odd that Becca spent a good couple of weeks leading up to his party redecorating the cafe to his requirements.

I feel like such a Grinch giving a feel-good holiday romance a bad review, but I guess at the end of the day I just had too many niggles to really enjoy.

(Thank you to Bookouture for sending a free copy my way in exchange for an honest review)

It is November 3 (when I first finished the book anyway) and I already have my first Hallmark Christmas movie watched and I finished reading my first Christmas book of the year! I hope I actually remain to be in the mood for Christmas movies and books. I missed that boat last year because my mood reading self wasn’t in the mood even though I celebrated Christmas. I think I only watched a few Netflix movies last year.

Anyway, A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle was the first book I read in this trilogy and I didn’t even realize this was part of a trilogy until about halfway through and was thinking I may have missed some details along the way. It wasn’t bad though, this just seems to be a thing for me. I think this book can be read as a standalone for over the holiday season once you go into it knowing it’s a trilogy. Now I just have the first two to look forward to!

I really liked Zac. I loved how he was Becca’s best friend and he was just so supportive of her and was one of the only ones who told her the truth and I loved how she realized her true feelings for him. I just wish Becca had listened to others when they said she really didn’t need to change, she really didn’t need to become like her twin sister when she was fine just how she was.

I did like how she finally became assertive and people did actually start taking her seriously.

I do wish that we got to see the end romance more, but I think that slow build until the very end is a common theme in Christmas stories since this happens in Hallmark movies too. I am definitely glad this wasn’t any type of instant love.

A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss in Cosy Kettle was a sweet read. It is definitely a good book to kick off the holiday season or whenever you want to get into the Christmas spirit.

Thank you Netgalley and publishers for giving me the chance to read this book. This had no impact on my thoughts. My thoughts are my own.

I personally did not like this book.. There were a lot of errors and i didn't understand the plot. I do have to say though my judgement should not effect other readers of this book because we all have different opinions. I do love reading Christmas books because it helps me get in the holiday mood . This one didn't work out for me. I am grateful that I had the chance to read and review this book.

Happy publication day! My first Christmas read of 2019 and no it’s not too early. I’ve done my kids lists already and this book really puts you in a festive, cheery mood. The cover is gorgeous!

It is book three in the Cosy Kettle series and can be read as a standalone each book so far has dived into a different characters life from this town and its been a pleasure to read. I felt welcomed back to this town, bookshop and cafe… Feels familiar and like home. This book focuses on character Becca aka manager of the cafe and shes set herself a list of five things to do before Christmas… But will she do it? I loved Beccas character and story. Beautifully written. A brilliant festive read!

A well deserved four stars from me. Highly recommend. I hope this isn’t the end of the series because I am loving it and waiting for the next one. The perfect Christmas read for 2019. Get cosy and curl up with this one.

This is book #3 in the Cosy Kettle series. It can be read as a standalone book, but for better understanding of the background stories I would recommend reading the books in order. This book takes us back to the village of Honeyford and the Cosy Kettle café. It focusses on the storyline of Becca, who we have met in the previous books. Becca lives with her best friend Zac, and is now the manager of the Cosy Kettle. She has though, huge self-confidence issues and she decides as a Christmas wish to reinvent herself by setting herself goals, which include getting a makeover, making a public speech and getting a date with handsome Logan, to name but a few. Is this really what she needs to turn her life around…?

I’ve loved the previous 2 books in this series, and have come to know Becca’s character from those books. She’s a lovely character but definitely comes across as being painfully shy with a lot of self-confidence issues. As the books have moved on though, Becca has come out of her shell a little bit especially when she became the manager of the Cosy Kettle, but we still see that there is a lot of work needed to give her the confidence she needs! Unfortunately, when her stylish and sophisticated twin sister, Jasmine turns up this does nothing to improve her confidence and in fact gives her more reason to reinvent herself!!

I love the characters in the book, some we already had met in the previous books and some who were new to this storyline! I really liked Zac, Becca’s best friend and housemate, and it was lovely to see him boosting her esteem and always being there when she needed a shoulder to cry on. The usual favourites were just as hilarious as before, particularly Stanley who continued to try and regain his youth by wearing the tightest trousers ever!! It was a shame though not to see some of the previous characters a little bit more, like Flora and Callie, who I did like in the previous books.

The storyline was very festive and wonderfully written! I was hooked from the very first page and once started I just couldn’t put it down! It’s plainly clear that this is definitely a ‘Happy Ever After’ book but I loved following Becca’s journey to her finding that! Full of Christmas cheer, tinsel and mince pies, this book is perfect for reading over Christmas!! A word of warning though, don’t read this book on an empty stomach as some of the cakes and lattes at The Cosy Kettle sound absolutely divine!!

This is a funny, festive and heart-warming read which leaves you with a big Christmas smile on your face. It does appear to be the last book of the series, which is really sad as I’ve loved the stories in this series, but I’m really looking forward to seeing what this author has in store for us next! Would highly recommend!!

A Christmas Wish and a Cranberry Kiss at the Cosy Kettle
(Cosy Kettle #3)
by Liz Eeles

Kindle Edition, 285 pages
Expected publication: November 7th 2019 by Bookouture

Goodreads synopsis:
Fans of Milly Johnson and Phillipa Ashley, the Cosy Kettle café is waiting for you to find a comfy spot by the fire and snuggle up with a steaming mug of hot chocolate. Amidst the twinkling lights and falling snowflakes, Becca has a wish to make this Christmas…

Running from heartbreak, twenty-five-year-old Becca has moved to the cosy village of Honeyford. Living with her best friend Zac in a little stone cottage, and serving mince pies and steaming gingerbread lattes at the Cosy Kettle, is the perfect escape from her past.

But starting over isn’t always plain sailing, and Becca’s shyness is holding her back from making her mark on the café. To make matters worse, her crush on blond-haired, blue-eyed local heartthrob Logan gets stronger by the day – but he can barely remember her name. So as the snow starts to fall in Honeyford, Becca has one big Christmas wish: to completely reinvent herself. Becca dreams of bringing the Cosy Kettle success and finding romance with Logan under the mistletoe.

As she gets a makeover, cosies up to Logan over mulled wine and plans the most festive celebration the café has ever seen, Becca wonders why she waited so long to step out of her comfort zone… Zac, on the other hand, thought she was perfect before – always caring for others – and he misses the quirky girl with the bright blue hair.

When Logan turns out to not be all he seems, Becca is left wondering if he’s really the one for her. With her party plans also going awry, can Becca save her beloved Cosy Kettle in time for Christmas? And has the key to her happiness been in front of her all along?

This is the third book in the Cozy Kettle series by Liz Eeles.

This is my third trip into Honeyford and I have to say that it is good to be back! A lot of the Cozy Kettle gang is back. The book club patrons make a pretty big splash in this one. This book centers around Becca. She runs the Cozy Kettle Cafe and she has spent the last few books struggling with her confidence. Her shy nature causes her to have no boundaries. She can’t say no. And this causes others to take advantage of her. When she makes the decision to improve herself after a few missteps at work, the book club patrons are all in on the transformation. Becca feels redeemed when she scores a party for the hunky Logan using the Cozy Kettle as a venue. Logan gives the term delegation a whole new meaning when he makes Becca in charge of it all.

As you can probably imagine, not all goes as planned in this little book. Becca works and works to make this party perfect, to make herself perfect for Logan and then everything changes… including her heart.

I am just in love with this series and so happy to see yet another book featuring some of my favorite characters in fiction. I would like to see the characters featured in the first two books play a bit bigger role but I am fine with how it all washed out in the end. Becca learned that just being yourself is the best thing to be.

Cute love story. If you like your romance and contemporary stories with a hometown feel, this book is for you.

I received this as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) in return for an honest review. I thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this title.

In this 3rd part the author places Becca in the spotlight, but we are reunited as well with all the other fabulous villagers that visit the café.

Often people feel like they are not good enough and they have someone in mind they would rather be. Someone more confident, or more beautiful or more outgoing, ...

You feel the need to change in order to become a happy person and to impress. More than once you overlook what is right in front of you and you push your own feelings aside because you want what's best for them.

If you want to change, there is nothing wrong with that but make sure to do it for yourself. Never forget there is someone out there you loves you just the way you are.

A lovely story that will warm your heart and make your mouth water. 5 stars.

Thank you, Liz Eeles and Bookouture.

This is the third in the series and having enjoyed all the others I must say this one did not let me down, It's cosy and festive, A perfect Christmas story!

I love the Cosy Kettle series of books, and I love festive books, so this book was the perfect choice for me. I was delighted to receive an early preview copy of this book from Netgalley and the Publisher.
Although this book is the third book in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone novel.
This book features Becca, the Manager of the Cosy Kettle Cafe. After a couple of incidents that are way out of her comfort zone, she decides that she needs to be less 'fragile' and anxious. The book club decide that they are going to help her with her mission and her wish list. As she begins to make changes she is not sure if she is making the right decisions.
The book club feature prominently in this story. They are an eclectic group of characters. Callie, from the first book barely gets a mention in this book, which is a shame. Flora, the bookshop owner features a little in this book. There is an epilogue, which is good, as it makes the ending of this book feel a lot more complete.
This is a fantastically fun and cosy read. It has a good range of characters. I liked the message about remaining true to yourself if you want to make changes to your life.
The setting of the book is delightful; books, cakes and romance, what more could I love about the book? The feelgood festivity, which takes place in the lead up to Christmas. This is a gorgeous read, the only thing that I would have enjoyed is catching up with more of the previous characters.
I'm not sure if this is the last book in the series. I would love to have more books in this series, but I definitely will be looking forward to reading more books by this author.

Yet again another fabulous story from Liz Eeles. We return to the village of Honeyford,a delightful place with delightful characters. This time we read all about Becca, the manager of the cosy kettle cafe. We have met her before, as we have some of the other characters featured, but this is her story. Past events have left Becca anxious and lacking in confidence, so when an opportunity arrives at the cafe, what should she do? I don't want to add more and spoil the story. This book can be read as a stand alone, but to be honest you will be missing out if you don't read the previous books.

I wasn't sure what to make of this book, especially as it was the last in the series. While I found so many of the characters to be unlikable, I did like that Becca realised that she didn't have to be the same as her sister to have a good life.

Thanks to NetGalley & Bookouture for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Having left heartbreak behind and moving to the friendly village of Honeyford, Becca has a job she adores as the Manager of the Cosy Kettle, and a best friend in her roommate Zac. But compared to her twin sister Jasmine, Becca feels unsuccessful and plain. Determined to improve her life, she creates a six-item wishlist which she feels will provide her with the life she so desires. Included in this list, is a date with the dreamy Logan.

The cafe has a diverse cast of characters who make up a book club who meet regularly at the cafe and make Becca’s work life eventful. Indeed, one of the members happens upon Becca’s wishlist and shares this list with the rest of the book club. After several meetings, the book club develops the Becca improvement plan. Throw in having to makeover the cafe for Logan’s work event and Becca is in transition overload.

What transpires is a funny, enchanting read full of Christmas spirit, friendship and introspection. I loved Becca’s character and her willingness to better herself but keeping the need to be true to herself. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC of this book in exchange for the honest review provided here.

I received this book complimentary courtesy of NetGalley!
Oh this was so lovely! I love how Becca just figured out she was in love with Zac all in one fell swoop and just couldn’t stop. I just adored that. I loved the idea of positively changing herself for the better. This was just a really well done book. I’m really pleased I got this copy as I wouldn’t have read it as it was out of my normal queue. It was just so well done and sweet. Zac was adorable and while I didn’t much like jasmine, I saw the change after and liked that. The epilogue nearly tied up the loose ends without being over the top.

A Christmas Wish is the third and final book in the Cosy Kettle series. Like the others this can be read as a standalone and I will admit that I have only previously read book 2, but they are such fun reads that I would recommend that you read them all so that you can get to know some of the colourful characters that frequent the café just that little bit better.
This time the story focuses on Becca, the very shy and anxiety ridden manager of the café. She constantly feels that she is not good enough compared to her very pretty twin sister Jasmine. After a particularly bad run in with a stroppy customer she decides that she has to change. Encouraged by her housemate Zac, she makes a Christmas wish and lays down several things that she needs to either do better or achieve including a date with local hunk Logan.
Although I do like Becca, there are times that I also got frustrated with her. She was constantly comparing herself to her sister primarily due to the fact they were twins. As the story developed and you learnt more about her family life, I can see why that was, but I still wanted to shake her. Even when she was trying to change by being more assertive and decisive, she still ended up doing what everyone else told her to do. The only person who didn’t was Zac. He was always there to humour her and be her sounding board. Ultimately what Becca learns is that sometimes you can be a better version of yourself without a full on reinvention. Sometimes just little tweaks produce the best results.
My favorite characters in the book still belong to those in the Cosy Kettle book club, especially Stanley. He is an absolute hoot. He is constantly trying to show that he is down with the kids and provides much of the humour. His attempt to “pimp out” Becca (his description) to Logan really made me chuckle. Once they found out about Becca’s plan, they went all out to help her with advice and makeovers. Even after she upsets them, they still rally round her to make the business a success.
I have loved reading about the Cosy Kettle Café and bookshop, and I may just have to hunt out the first in the series just to see what I have missed. The characters are fun and give you a real feeling of what it is like to live in a small, close community where everyone has your back. A Christmas Wish is a great quick read that will get you in the mood for Christmas, coffee and cake.

I love the Cosy Kettle café!!! This book wasn't my favorite book in the series but I still enjoyed it. I hate to say it but I didn't love Becca. I found her more annoying than anything. Then add on her parents and sister. I just hated reading about her family. They never had anything nice to say and they were always rude when talking to Becca or describing her. I found it it a little unbelievable when Becca's mom shows up at her doorstop with a suitcase and then everything gets solved in a matter of minutes. I hardly believe Becca's dad would immediately stop being a male chauvinist pig. Jasmine was really hard to like. I pretty much knew how everything was going to turn out. So the ending wasn't a surprise. Callie wasn't even in the book except for two mentions. She pretty much disappeared after the first book. At least we got an update about what is happening with her, even if it was on the last page of the book. I'm not sure how Stanley thinks he is being edgy and cool. I'm finding his antics tiring and half the time he's rude to people. I don't find him funny.

I definitely recommend this book and the previous ones in the series. It's a fun read with some interesting characters. Everything at the Cosy Kettle café sounds delicious. I look forward to reading more books by the author. Maybe the next book will be about Callie again and what's new in her life. I loved the cover of the book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Bookouture through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
