Well, Stevie Wonder could have seen that coming. I always wonder why people are surprised even after suspecting it, although it had a twist to it. I don't want to give too much away. You'll have to read, Unmanageable, to see what I mean.

Veronica is constantly fighting for her father's attention with her half sister, and that story line is running throughout the book. She is a lawyer working for her father's firm, and hires a local lady to walk her fat and lazy basset hound. In walks hunky Brian, who is the nephew of the dog walker. He is a professional hockey player, who was recently injured so is not playing. Sparks fly, but Veronica is enough of a snob to look down on him for being a dog walker. The build up of tension was a let down at the end with the father and sister, but may just be me. Overall, still a good book and one I would recommend if you want a quick easy read.

3 hockey loving stars!
I love a good hockey romance! Brian Walsh isn’t just a dog walker that is helping out with Veronica Andersen's adorable dog. He is also an ex hockey player dealing with an injury that ended his career. When Veronica invites Brian to her sister's wedding, life takes an unexpected turn for everyone involved.

This was a cute story. I liked the dog aspect. Who would think their dog walker was an ex hockey god??? Cute plot line.

This is Veronica and Brian book, book two in a forbidden cove series but you don’t have to read book one to follow! Veronica is a lawyer at her father’s office and she’s really pushing to make partner her father knows how hard she’s worked all this time?! Right??!! She has no time for men right now and especially the hot dog walker that’s walker her dog! Right??!! Brian is a former hockey pro and is currently walking dogs to keep his mind off of his career ending injury and before he figures out what to do now that he no longer has hockey! This book was just an ok read for me I’ve read both books and both were somewhat enjoyable and I would recommend them they’re just not my favorite. Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!
