I enjoyed this story. This one is quite suspenful and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I haven't read the first book yet, but had no problems following this story, so this one works well as a stand alone story.

I had not read the previous book of the series and found it hard to get into this book. There is a lot of information and emotions from the previous one. THe first half also had a lot more of finding God than I was comfortable with. It was not a book for me and did not actually read it completely.

This was a very gripping engrossing suspense novel with a great atmospheric setting. I loved the charcters, the setting of a mysterious Inn, the plot and well crafted series of suspenseful events that lead to conclusion. It was a fun read that I highly recommend.
