I had too much trouble getting past ANOTHER book about Stephan Glass, a mediocre journalist who turned out to be faking his stories, to enjoy the tight writing and meticulous research. Newsflash: it's not a shock when privileged white men get an easy road in life until they implode it for themselves, nor is it a shock when they profit even more from their self-destruction.

Thank you, Netgalley for allowing me to review this title. Unfortunately, I didn't get to reading it until now, about 3 years after its publication date. I learned a lot about the history of the Farnsworth house from this book. I never knew how many issues it truly had; very interesting.
