LISTEN, people!!! I think the DNC needs to make this required reading. Now. “You’ve got to run where the game is played and fight where the fight is, which is these 15 electoral college swing states, and those states are not as woke and liberal as other parts of the country” (that's from a recent interview with Wilson in The Guardian). He has some strong tough love for us liberal Democrats, but it all goes down much easier because he is hilarious. I listened to the audiobook, narrated by the author, and laughed out loud so many times. I'll give just one example here--after telling us how we have to learn to be as nasty as Trump if we're gonna beat him and his demons, he fires us up with this:

"You will still wonder if you can win this with love and not combat. You can't. I wish we lived in a perfect world where all this would be settled by a scholarly discourse, but this is a chain fight in a biker bar in Frogsass, Alabama."
