Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. This book was just OK. I got a lot of sex and not a lot of story. Sometimes thats OK if you're in that mood.

I didn't care for this title. It just didn't capture my interest or drag me into it's world. I was just bored at times and I didn't fall in love with the characters. It just ended up being a really tough read.

I really enjoyed this book. The relationship between Lila and Blake starts out quickly and just gets hotter. The story moved along well and kept me interested. The one night stand Lila and Blake thought they had turns into so much more, and it kept me turning the pages. If you’re looking for great characters and lots of heat, I definitely recommend this one.

Basically straight smut, which I enjoy but I hate the instalove and male controlling plot. I know it rights itself but it was annoying. Also, wtf Mia is just....m.i.a. Loool

Blake and Lila are delightful characters that keep you tied to this story. She is getting over a bad beak up and he is ladies man but one night in their presence, changes their outlook on life. Will Blake be what Lola needs to get over her painful breakup and will they make it to a happily ever after? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I'm not the biggest fan of porn on paper stories. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of sexually driven stories, but porn on paper is a whole other level. It forgets about the story and just has sex after sex after sex after .... you get my point.

This book rode the porn of paper theme thru pretty much its entire content. It wasn't over the top or ridiculous or anything like that, it just lacked substance in my opinion. It's a wham bam, thank you ma'am kinda read. I didn't dislike it per say, but it had sooooo much promise that it made me twitchy when it didn't deliver. It's a pretty quick read that won't disappoint if that's what you're in the mood for!

So *shrug* 3.5 stars from me but not enough to round up to 4

Lily and Blake’s story is a fast paced steamy read, which has instant attraction, and is about a one night stand which develops into so much more. This is a good story, which had me intrigued and hooked throughout, and I recommend for all.

After the way that Lila’s last relationship ended she is looking for a fresh start so when Mia, a friend that she attended summer camp with years ago, posts on social media she is looking for a roommate it seems like the change she has been looking for.

Blake is Mia’s brother’s best friend and he is very protective of her as well. From the moment that he and Lila meet the chemistry between them is electric but maneuvering the other parts of their lives is where the challenge lays.

The interactions between Lila and Blake were humorous and the heat between them was off the charts. I was intrigued by what we did find out about Mia and her brother and would be interested in stories about them as well.

First time author for me and I really enjoyed everything about this story, I can't wait to read more from this author.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and it was a hot story. The chemistry between Blake and Lila was off the charts. They were just looking for a good time and a relationship was the furthest thing from their minds. However, that was not the case. It was nice seeing them realize that what they wanted was right in front of them the whole time.

If you're looking for a book that covers the erotica genre but gives you a story with characters that are well developed and interesting, yet vulnerable, then you've found a good read. I enjoyed the way Lily and Blake clicked, the conflict with the friend of a friend relationship and the back stories with both of their earlier difficulties. Blake is ultra controlling and Lily is controlling-resistant and we have a compelling mixture that was fun to read, I had a hard time putting the book down - I found the characters fun and the situations they found themselves in were cleverly written.

Not really for me, too Insta everything !! I guess that's what happens when it's a short story, which I don't really like it's too much too quick with everything! So if you like short books this one might be for you! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

This read is what it is... a story about a delicious hot hookup that becomes so much more! Good characters that work and plenty of spice. Fast paced and yummmy!

I know where the author wanted to go with this story but it didn’t get there by my opinion.

It was a lot of sexual content and not much story. I thought that it was very instalove and the sex scenes was for me crinchworthy a lot of the time.

She kept running away from him when he just wanted to help her or used sex to divert him. And she really annoyed me when she was supposed to be strong and independent and she was very judgmental of him until the ending.
He was controlling but he really wanted to help her and he often ranged himself in to meet her wishes and he didn’t give up on her.

I liked the ending and when they had serious conversations.

Out of Control the latest addition to Entangled's One Handed Reads collection was an enjoyable tale. That was not only fast-paced, but super spicy. And with likable characters plus a plot line that deals with the after effects of controlling partners and manipulation I was easily engaged throughout. And I loved how the story itself played out. Whilst not getting heavy or emotional or being over reliant on sex to move the story on. And as a new author to me, I would certainly check out more books by Toni J. Strawn in the future; and I would happily recommend Out of Control to others. Particularly if you're in the mood for a super hot, fast read.
